“This has to be one of the best kept secrets in the Charlotte Metro area as far as restaurants go. This is probably the best German food I've ever had. All the employees are very nice and knowledgeable, take pride in the food and service they provide. It's also great for authentic German beer, served the right way. Recently joined the Beer Club, and despite it being a nearly 30 minutes treck each time you go there, it's well worth it.“
“I am not quite ready to go home yet so I decided to stop here for a beer and wouldn't you know it, there was a hole in the bottom of my glass. I got a second beer and the same thing happened. Very defective glassware here! (sarcasm!)About 90 minutes for two beers with some wifi where I cranked out a Yelp review or two, watched people coming and going, and had a chance to wind down. Nice spot, lots of micro brews available and very friendly. I'll have to come back soon!Parking: Parking in front or there are lots nearby. Check the signs though!“
“Saw the Disney trivia event on Facebook and came for the first time. GREAT service from bartenders and wonderful variety of food and drink to choose from. We loved the cobb salad and mushroom burger! Plus the pistachio brownie, WOW ? Everything was delicious and the trivia was fun as well ?THANK YOU for having hooks under the bar for purses and bags - more restaurants need to do this.“
“We walked in on a whim and had a wonderful dinner. Our server Mariia was very attentive and sweet. The food took us back to our Spain trip and that is saying something. We ordered the Jamon Serrano, Paella Pollo, sautéed garlic shrimp and mushrooms con chorizo. We will be back to try more Tapas items.“
“I love the food the Peruvian fried rice bowl is my favorite! The staff was very nice and professional.Parking: The parking space is very small and other businesses don't like for you to use their parkingWheelchair accessibility: The building is allb9n one level and the inside is wide enough for a wheelchair to fit“
“What an amazing experience we had eating at Hellenic Greek Kitchen! Service was quick and thorough, atmosphere was relaxed and easy, and the food was some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Portions were big and everything we tried was delicious!! Go see Peyton and Amelia and let them fill you up!“
“I love Back Yard Brew. I recently stopped there for a Meetup book club. To be honest with you, the book club was underwhelming but fortunately the coffee was not. The courtyard is designed with maximum eclecticism in mind, so it's the polar opposite of a Starbucks or Peets or heaven forbid a Dunkin Donuts. I recommend the Turkish coffee if you like cardamom scented thick ground coffee. Otherwise order a Yemen or Mexican pour over. Grab brags before you leave for your home brewing needs and definitely check out the restroom before you leave!“
“We visited 300 East while spending time with my son in college at UNC Charlotte. Jake our waiter was fantastic! Not only did he make excellent food recommendations but he also took time to explain how to travel around Charlotte and gave advice on local shops and art surrounding the area. Their food was amazing and the restaurant has true southern charm. This is definitely a place to frequent if in town.“
“Absolutely love this place! Doesn't matter the time of day, it's the perfect spot. I've been there for coffee, the empanadas, drinks upstairs, they have it all. It's a great spot to bring some work or to just socialize and they are nestled right in the heart of Plaza Midwood. They also have great outdoor patio spaces!“
“Great beer tenders, knowledgeable and friendly. Diverse selection of beers, all done very well. Deepest condolences to Dan's family, friends, and the CLT beer community. Speaking as a beer industry worker visiting from out of town, please support these folks. They do a great job.“
“This is my corner bar, I have been a regular since they opened. Great beer, great food, and best of all: staff and managers! Can't list names of everyone today, but each of you shares parts of your lives and dreams, in addition to being awesome at your job. Today, I AM going to name Allison, who greats me with a big hug every time I see her! Just so love my corner bar!“
“My wife and I had a fantastic dinner experience at 131 Main! The atmosphere is perfect for upscale casual dining - inviting and stylish. Our server, Kellie, was top-notch. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure our experience was great. The food came out incredibly fast, in about 10 minutes, and everything was piping hot. We could tell the ingredients were fresh by the taste and perfect seasoning. I had the slow roasted chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken itself was juicy and flavorful, and the smashed potatoes were a perfect complement. My wife ordered the crabcakes, and they were loaded with succulent crabmeat. The sauce was also amazing! We highly recommend 131 Main and will definitely be back to try more of their menu.“
“Fantastic venue with employees that are willing to go out of their way to provide a great experience. I found the brewery fairly last minute when another venue for a birthday party fell through, and Leah/Taylor and team went above and beyond to make the experience better than we expected. They offered a signature drink (which the birthday girl loved), an ideal location in the brewery and accommodation for snacks and cake which we brought in, and assisted with things like a group pic and singing happy birthday to the birthday girl. We will definitely be back, and Replay will be a priority if and when we have another group event.“
“What a great spot for seafood. We sat on the rooftop flat on a beautiful night and had a feast. The mussels and oysters were delicious. My party loved the herbaceous sauce on the fresh oyster selection. They had 2 ocean, 3 bay, and 3 river oysters. We tried the sea ones initially before switching to chargrilled. The food was seasoned to perfection. I would suggest any of the seafood here. Great quality.“
“Love this place. The service is fantastic and I've never had a bad meal or a bad drink. I highly recommend their brisket meatballs and their sandwiches. There's a large patio to chill and have a beer and/or just hang out. Dogs are welcome on the patio too!“
“Inviting atmosphere and very hospitable employees. Every need is met with concern and kindness. Beverages are delightful, clean environment and good energy. Encouraging staff to those in need (hence needing a drink during a tough work day) Would definitely come back again and again and again. ?“
“I always come here to try their new rotating flavors they have each week! I love all of their nut flavors! They are very creative with their flavors and it's always a pleasant surprise what new flavor they have in store! The service is always great! And ambiance is laid back and no frills but always very clean! My favorite ice cream in the entire city!!!!!“
“Had an outstanding burger at Burger & Barley this past weekend.I enjoyed the Mr Big Stuff, which is a monster burger with double patties cooked to order, Boars Head bacon, smoked pimento cheese, and bbq sauce on a brioche bun. Simply delicious! It was hard to eat and almost too big to bite so I resorted to novice burger eater status and used a fork and knife. Very, very good.My wife had the Brinner burger, which is a single patty w/ American cheese, Boars Head candied bacon, over easy egg, and maple mayo on a glazed donut. A GLAZED DONUT! Absolute fire! Both of our burgers were messy but they were also delicious. The burst of flavors is incredible and I have to put them in my top 10 burger places to visit if you get the chance. We split some fried pickles and even though I’m not a pickle fan, I found them to be very good. The saltiness of the pickle coupled with the breading and ranch made for a very good combination that I wasn’t able to stop eating. I also enjoyed two beers - the Tactical Mango Warhead sour and the Hurley Park Blood Orange Wheat. The sour won the day though I wasn’t disappointed by the other. The place was busy, our server was great, and the kitchen was hustling.“
“Marcos was awesome! He was so pleasant and provided excellent customer service. And the tres leches cake was SUPERB! I had a great experience this visit. Thanks Marcos!Parking: There's a free parking lot across the street and paid street parking directly in front of the establishment.“
“Stumbled across this little gem today, while needing a new environment for working from home. I spent several hours here working, and will definitely be back. The staff was very warm, the food and coffee were delicious and reasonably priced, and the atmosphere was lovely. Lots of space, very bright, and even a patio. It’s easy to find with plenty of parking. I’m already looking forward to going again!“
“A fantastic place to go for *any* type of meal - date nights, friends, wine tastings, social hours...a great destination for all purposes. The wine selection is deep and high quality at every price point, the menu has potential options for virtually every taste (don't be fooled that it's a page in total - the diversity is top notch), and the staff is well informed for all requests regardless of food or drink.A couple of things to catch:- While it's great inside as well, Foxcroft really shines from Spring through Fall, where the patio is a fantastic place to grab a bite or have a glass of wine.- The periodic tastings are a great opportunity for new fans of wine to learn about all aspects of the product, and introduce new options to long-time aficionados. Worth a try!- Just another shoutout to the staff. Quality folks.“
“Such friendly people, with amazingly delicious food. Seriously, so good! Best burgers we have EVER had, anywhere! We have been customers at their food truck, and now the cafe as well. I really appreciate the availability of gluten free buns!“
“The vibes here are immaculate. It’s got such a cool, chill vibe. All of the drinks I’ve tried are great and I love the pastries! It’s got plenty of seating if you want to sit and chat with a friend. It’s so cozy here!Dietary restrictions: Oat and almond milk offeredParking: Drive around back for more parkingKid-friendliness: There is a cute little room off to the side perfect for a couple of parents to sit while kids play or read books.“
“Cute atmosphere, parking nearby but also walkable. Service was pretty good. Food was delicious, we enjoyed the variety of vegan and gluten free options. Note this is more of what I consider a "comfort food" type of vegan where the menu was more veggies/mushrooms rather than tofu/seitan. Drink list had something for everyone.Bottom line - would definitely recommend to check out!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and they indicate nut free options as well“
“It is so hard to walk into this place and not instantly be in a better mood than before you entered! I love to see everyone just thriving! Everyone was so pleasant and welcoming. We ordered a mocha latte and a smoothie and both were amazing! I can’t wait to visit again! ?“
“Came in for the first and was greeted by a very kind woman and her daughter who own this place. I tried the salted Carmel hot coco with the cinnamon pretzel bites with dulce de leche dip omg perfect combination especially for this cold weather I highly recommend you stop by, they have lots of other cool items on there menu I’d have to come back and try something new next time!!“
“Moo & Brew has become an instant fave! The staff are all incredibly personable and the food and drinks always hit the spot. Order the cheese curds, any of the fries, and the hibiscus marg. Pro tip: order whatever sandwich sounds good and swap out the protein for your choice. Thank me later!! Love the Tuesday night Trivia on the Tracks and can’t wait to check out karaoke on a Wednesday. Literally this place cannot disappoint!!Parking: There’s a free parking lot but if it’s crowded you can find free street parking nearby“
“Full disclosure I know the owners. That being said I have been active in the craft beer scene in a different state for a long time and Lower Left reminds me of the exciting early day of craft brewing. A local brewery, laidback vibes, run by folks that want to make a good product and have a fun time doing it. The beers well made, and the selection is stellar for such a small brew house. They really shine with IPAs, but have some amazing rotating beers (including a Key Lime Pie beer that is in my top 10 list). So bring your spouse, kids, in-laws, dogs, cats and head over to Lower Left for a solid beer and good times.“
“Come here for the REAL coffee shop experience. Great place to socialize, study, have a delicious coffee, or to even sit outside to enjoy the sunlight. The staff is super welcoming. The environment is a conducive place for quality study time, social time, or even a game night! I am very thankful for this coffee shop and just hope it continues to stick around long enough to become a Charlotte landmark.“
“Very decent hotdog spot if you like a good hot dog. I like that they have a lot of variety. They have different toppings, a dog of the week, and chicken sandwiches. The only reason I'm taking a star is because of value $6 is high for a hotdog. Other than that would highly recommend it if you like hot dogs and a lot of choices.“
“You pick out whatever popsicle (made from gelato) that you want and then they hand-dip it in chocolate, toppings, etc. I had the version that includes sandwiches (like an ice cream sandwich). OMG. Ran around $8.50 per person, so not cheap but great for a special occasion.“
“This store was amazing. Very welcoming baristas and very good coffee. I bought a bag to bring back to my starbucks at home for my manager to try and he said it was amazing! Even a few other baristas said it was very good too. Thank you so much for not only a good experience for coffee but making high quality products!!“
“The food was excellent. Several choices for wine and the pinot from Washington was a good one. Our server knew the wines and was able to explain their characteristics. The menu could be more expansive; however, there is still something for everyone.“
“My husband and I moved here from Florida in December & we found this coffee shop & it is UHHHHmazing!!! Chubby bunny is my current fave! & my husband loves the Mocha blended cooler (frappe)! We love it! Totally recommend!! This shop is 20 mins away from us & it’s worth the drive! “
“This place is AMAZING! Theres swings outside, everyone was friendly, a slide, great drinks. The ski ball was free, duck-pin bowling was relatively cheap (I believe $10?) and lots of open games. Pinball was $1 per game. Despite a lot of people, we were able to go through the place comfortably. Great place to get a drink and hangout, was a TON of fun!!!Parking: Parking on side of building. Unsure if theres a lot of parking, but a good amount of spots.“
“Have been here before and its such an enjoyable experience! Love the vibe inside and bartenders are always friendly and helpful. They have gingers revenge on tap which i was thrilled about but also tried other beers and all were delicious! They also now have snacks for purchase including pimiento cheese and gluten free options as well!!“
“Pilot brewing is a fantastic spot in Charlotte with great beer! This review is to plug their private label offerings. We created a private label beer for our wedding celebration and could not be happier with how it turned out! The Pilot marketing team was fantastic to work with and our cans were a huge hit with our guests! Highly recommend!“
“I’ve been here twice now for private work events- both times Keo was the bartender. He’s the best. The beer is great. The space is great. But honestly I’m only leaving this 5 star review for Keo.. he has set the bar for what 5 star service at a brewery looks like. Thank you!“
“If you are a wine lover like me, head over to The Wine Loft, located in the swanky Southend neighborhood of Charlotte! It's an excellent option for enjoying great wines! They have a selection of white, red and rose wines and the ambiance is perfect - cozy and laid back, with a touch of elegance. The staff was also helpful and attentive! They also have live music on the weekends, which adds to the great vibe! It's a great place to enjoy a variety of wines!“
“One of the best all around Thai restaurants I have ever been to. The food tastes like you were sitting in a Bangkok restaurant. The Mango sticky rice was the best I've ever has anywhere. The presentation of each dish was quite amazing as was the flavor and atmosphere. I will return soon and highly recommend Deejai Thai for everyone.“
“Visited in October 2014. This is a rather basic brewpub situated in the residential area south of downtown Charlotte. It’s quite spacious and well-lit, boasting a large patio with a food truck conveniently parked out front. Live music appeared to be scheduled, but our visit was too brief to enjoy it. Both the brews and service were satisfactory.“
“Staff was super friendly and helpful. The margarita pizza was fast and tasty. Love the buffalo mozzarella ! Open table seating / order up front. Little fixens over by the beverage machines. Also had to sip on the side of marinara (so good ). It’s definitely a family friendly happening spot.“
“Mitty's is wonderful from the peaceful atmosphere to the kind employees. Amanda is wonderful., she just knew how to calm my 4 year old right down. Helped my mother and brother with they're amazing line of CBD products. Judge has a beautiful spirit and truly gifted in massage and body work. The energy is perfect for me and m ugh family. A must. Love this place.“
“It was my first visit to Tacos 4 Life. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. These were some of the best tacos I've had. I ordered the Hawaiian shrimp and Korean BBQ steak tacos. They were hot and fresh. I can't wait to go again.“
“When I used to live in the city few years ago I used to rave about how all of the Charlotte breweries couldn’t hold a candle to the charcuterie at Lenny Boy - always with two rotating, high quality cheeses and lots of other selections. We would go frequently and I would always order it.This last time we went it was the same price as it had been for a plate that consisted of one cheese, a few crackers, a sparse amount of salami, a slice or two of prosciutto, some oats? and raisins, with Dijon mustard.Super disappointed in the noticeable drop in quality. Still a huge fan of their kombuchas and atmosphere - so I can’t exactly give them a low rating here - but hate to see something that really made them stand out to me so drastically change because Lenny boy was always 5 stars in my book!I would genuinely be willing to pay more for a higher quality selection and am leaving this here for the powers that be to consider :)“
“One of the coolest bars I've ever been too. Mechanical pin bowling, free arcade games, sports games (including UFC PPV), a giant slide with a bar at the top of the slide, swings, outdoor beer pong with trashcan and kickball. They got it all.“
“I’m glad it’s spring time and feeling good outside. Summerbird’s hit the spot for lunchtime vibes. This indoor outdoor layout gives me Cali vibes. The suggestion for my meal was right on point and made to order!! It’s always a plus when the staff show you wonderful customer service.Download the Offline app so you can join me as a foodie, I’m moving through the Queen City.“
“Had a delicious meal there tonight. Loved the warm bread and seasoned oil to begin with. Had a Hot Pie and breaded ravioli for appetizer. Entrees were very good. We got a piece of chocolate cake for dessert, wow…. It was delicious, especially the icing!“
“This place was a discovery for me... we came in by chance and were completely pleasantly surprised. Excellent and fast service, polite, helpful staff, delicious cuisine and atmosphere. And all this is right in the very center of the city. I recommend it.“
“Y’all complaining about the boys working up front is silly. They are KIDS doing their BEST. Of course it’s awkward for them but they are giving it their all. Cut some slack Jesus Christ. Can never please y’all people trying to get top tier service when ordering a bánh mì and drink ???. Ruining a business with one star reviews cause the boys up front didn’t give you attention while they help other people and bag up the food. GET REAL. ?“
