“As this is a proper English café; I think it prudent to say I am "chuffed to bits" that someone finally opened a new coffee shop/bakery in Pleasant Garden. The baked goods are delicious, and the coffee is also delicious! There is nothing negative to say about my experience. I have only called Pleasant Garden home for four years, but this small town keeps getting better and better. I will be back to visit The English Rose Bake Shop for sure.“

“Yesterday was my 1st time visiting Black Magnolia and let me say that I was blown away! I got the Classic Cinnamon Roll and the Peach Bourbon Roll, both were delicious. At the recommendation of another patron in the store, I also bought the Mushroon Gruyere Brioche Toast, I had it later at home with a side of bacon, eggs, and sliced tomatoes, it, too, was mouthwatering. Thanks and shout out to my boo for recommending that I try this spot out. The shop is tiny, but the flavors are HUGE!!!“

“We had an amazing experience at the downtown Greensboro location! It was our first time in, my friends had taken me out to kick off my birthday week. We all ordered crunch cheesecakes off the suggested menu, but they happened to be out of the apple pie flavor I ordered. The owner, Tanya, came out and gave me her number to call and let her know the next time I was coming and she would fix me a free one since they were out! I have never had someone offer to do this and it was the kindest gesture. My friends and I ended up sitting and talking long enough that the apples were finished cooking and Tanya made me a fresh one to take home! It was a wonderful surprise and so greatly appreciated! I would recommend this amazing shop to anyone and everyone! The atmosphere is so welcoming, it feels like you dropped by a family member’s house for a treat. Please go visit them immediately!“

“We came for a buffet during Ramadan, and we come often for Shawarma sandwiches around lunch. Not only is the environment friendly, and the community atmosphere present, but the food is always impeccably cooked. It is delicious and the serving portions are very generous. The price is absolutely manageable even for a large family or group, and I would highly recommend this restaurant and the bread that they produce to anyone in the greater Greensboro Triad area. “I'm very picky about my cookies, I love homemade cookies more. But this cornbread cookie from Crumbl was delicious, I went and got this cookie 2 more times lol. Fast service I ordered drive up the young lady was soooo sweet, I was greeted with a compliment and had such a warm smile. I love great customer service because I love to tip people who make my time memorable. Great vibe when this cookie comes back I suggest you all try it!!! No too sweet taste exactly like real cornbread. Only reason they got 4stars is because some of the other cookies aren't that good.“

“I first heard about this place from my son's coworker (in Chapel Hill). So yesterday, off we go to Greensboro for some cake and a brownie... I was expecting mediocre cake. NOT THE CASE! Oh. My. Goodness!!! I was not prepared for the silky warm fluffy deliciousness that I was about to consume in the warm fresh out of the oven, butter pound cake. When I took that first bite, it was like the angels sang! I'm serious. If butter isn't your thing, no worries, there are so many flavors to choose from that you're bound to find a flavor that hits the way the butter got me! You must go right now and get some pound cake from Legacy Cakes! You will not be disappointed. I can't wait to go back. Several intimate spaces are designed for customers to linger: a children’s nook with a fireplace, a dining table with a jigsaw puzzle in progress, and cozy booths and a private room for deep conversations.I was craving cake, so I got a chocolate cupcake and a vanilla cupcake. The vanilla was exquisite. The chocolate one was not as decadent as I expected, but there are several chocolate variations, so I recommend asking about the richest ones if you’re a chocoholic.I appreciate that small cups of ice water are available for free from a self-serve tap in the dining room.Kid-friendliness: There is a book nook for kids as well as a jigsaw puzzle, but the atmosphere is overwhelmingly adult-oriented.“

“Amazing place tucked away on Market street across from Sheetz. They have the usual cakes and breads you'd expect at a Mexican-style bakery, and it's all great. On Sundays they make churros my wife says are the best she's had, and she's had churros in Mexico City and in Spain. Tuesday and Friday afternoons (maybe other times) there are "sugar-raised" donuts that are better than Dunkin (that's not too hard) and even Donut World.“
