“We actually live in Douglasville Georgia but found Pfieffers when we come to Shelby to visit family. We absolutely love it and Friday lunch is our first stop. My husband loves th Reuben and I love the cranberry chicken salad. I kidded our daughter that we couldn’t come out the week after Christmas because you are closed that week.”

“I'd like to share my visit to Izzi'Que Barbecue Restaurant & Pub. The restaurant was in downtown Shelby and it had a picturesque storefront.
Upon entering I was promptly greeted. The main dining room was tastefully & comfortably laid out for a relaxing evening.
I decided to try the bar area which was laid out quie nice with lots of music memorabilia. The
bartender-K. served me a frosty michelob and took my order. She was friendly and kept a good check on me. The owner T. was very cordial and offered up one of their fabulous deviled eggs to top off my meal. It was a great pleasure to find this gem of a restaurant and will come back soon.
I recommend Issi'Que for your dining pleasure.”

“My wife and I visited Shelby for the first time. We just recently moved to NC. We Googled restaurants in inthe area and found Toscanos, and thought we'd give it a try. When we entered, the restaurant is inviting with tables and very large booths, and jazz playing overhead. My wife and I were seated at a table. She ordered a glass of wine, and me the designated driver, an ice tea.

The menu has plenty of choices, and there are also chalk board selections as you enter the restaurant.

My wife ordered a combination pasta (spaghetti ) with sausage, peppers, and mushrooms with a red sauce.
I had the chicken pasta with a creamy garlic sauce, spinach and sun dried tomatoes.
Because we were hungry, we also ordered an artichoke dip and we wanted to sample the soup of the day, " Lasagna Soup."

Our entrees both came with a very generous salad and garlic bread. Had we known any better, we probably would have skipped the other items, because this was plenty of food.

Everything we ordered was very good. The salads, soup, artichoke dip, garlic bread, and especially our pasta dishes.

I believe our server was Taylor, and she was very kind and attentive, as well as the gentleman that was busing the tables.
We enjoyed our meal, and we'll definitely return to try other menu items.”

“I just stopped by the jive turkey cafe to try out breakfast and let me tell you, do yourself a favor and stop in and grab a bite, you won't regret it! my breakfast quesadilla is delicious! Don't sleep on this cafe because it is in the college, it is open to the public and the food is fantastic!”

“I've been to dozens of breweries over the years, some are good, some are lame... This place is AMAZING!! The Belgian Tripple is on point, and I've been to Belgium and had those beers. They have a great ESB and Sangria. The chicken tenders (sweet chili sauce) were out of this world good!! There is ample seating, dining room, upstairs and outside. The music is good, and at the right volume so you can still have a conversation. This place is a gem!!”

“Today I called to see if they had any chocolate chip cookies which I love. The guy said no but he would bake me some and they would be ready by 3. I went in and they were so kind. The afternoon shift always is. They are SUPERB. The lady there,who is so friendky and wonderful, asked me if I was in a hurry and I said no. When my cookies cooled down she wrapped all 15 of them and brought them to me. I love the CUSTOMER SERVICE THE FOOD AND THE COOKIES!!!FABULOUS!?”

This was our 2nd time at this location and we have been blown away each time. Immediately, we were greeted by the staff inside and the lobby was impeccably clean. The woman who took our order (I think a manger? Wearing a gray uniform) was extremely warm and friendly! We felt very welcomed, whereas at many fast food restaurants late at night we almost always get the vibe the workers don’t want us there. Our food came quickly and was exactly what we wanted. They were happy to make our blackened chicken tenders to order, which we have been denied at other locations in the past. 5 stars!!!”

“I've been to this Wendy's two Fridays in a row the first time it was amazing so I came back thinking that it was just a fluke but it was even better the second time, the burger was hot and fresh, the line in the Drive-Thru moves so fast they do such a great job they are very nice and always get it right this is way better than the Forest City location. This Wendy's location is on point with their food I can't get over how good the burger is being so hot and fresh.”

“Our office ordered a huge variety of muffins for some of our offices that we deal with...The manager was awesome!! She had each box packed up for us when we picked the order up. She even included napkins & plates in each box!
She showed us how she packaged the boxes & made sure we were happy with it before we left. She helped us to the car with all our boxes. “I cant find my original post but I thought I would leave a update. On March 3rrd I went to this location and everything about my experience was HORRIBLE. I was finally able to get ahold of the manager Alex and he made things right. The only complaint that I have about my experience yesterday is when I walked in and asked to see Alex the witress said that there was nobody there by that name and that nobody worked there by that name. I then said I spoke the the manager Alex and that he was waitng on me. She still acted like she didnt know who he was. Finally someone else come out there and said that she would go get him. OTher than that Alex was wonderful and made everything else wonderful!! If we could service like we did yesterday with Alex I would eat there more often. Thanks Alex for being WONDERFUL yesterday!!”

Only issue is with the broken speaker here and consistently the portions of fries are different, like sometimes a side of cheese fries will fill up the box but other times it’s like 10 fries and a dollop of cheese”
