“3 coffee shop/patisserie in downtown. Gondolier and Lake mountain are I think my favorite. Coffee is top notch. Free wifi and there are so much sweets here. Galeto, different kind of cheesecake, pies, bars....I never seen a pecan crusted cheesecake before. Definitely a southern fusion. Everything is good. No complains.It is kinda expensive but worth it once a while“
“I love this coffee shop! Their lattes and pastries are out of this world. Emily also made me the best Thanksgiving custom ordered cookies - my nephews and nieces loved them! My entire family kept asking where I got them from. I highly recommend trying the peanut butter cookies! Parker and Emily are very kind and diligent with their business - the proof is there right when you walk through the door!“
“Love this Coffee shop. I’ve met Andy, the owner and love his heart for this place. He’s definitely a big reason for the open friendly atmosphere in there. The space upstairs is really great. You can find your own nook or you can come with a group and have some great discussions. Definitely check this out if you are in Statesville.“
“I have had the best experiences at The Coffee Lodge since I found it. If you’re a frequent a coffee shop goer, you’ll recognize this place has just such a great cozy vibe. The owner is extremely nice and welcoming. Any other staff I’ve encountered has been friendly and attentive. They did a great job providing ample flexible seating areas to accommodate socializing or getting work done. Even the patrons are friendly and neighborly feeling. I’ve enjoyed the lavender latte, dirty chai latte, strawberry smoothie and mini cinnamon buns. All of its been delicious.“
“11/13/2023 My Queen ordered food and let Me be the one too say Waffle House will no longer get My late night money. Too the Owners of this facility thank You for staying open till 10 the cook in there needs a raise and the hostess was very nice. “This is tucked inside Ingles Supermarket, so that is the only time I come here - when I’m shopping. No worries though, I get stellar service no matter what. Their little kiosk/booth is spotless and the workers are always polite and full of smiles. I’ve never had a bad drink here. Always made quickly and to perfection. I highly recommend stopping here for a treat while shopping.“
“This place was a very pleasant surprise. Family friendly Christian place with live music. Upstairs is a more laid back and acoustical, with the Christian rock and metal music downstairs. I had the pleasure of filming and watching my friends from Over Mortal play last night and it was awesome. They have pool tables, air hockey and plenty of drinks and snacks to keep the kids busy while you relax and listen to music and chill. If I had a place like this in my home town growing up, I'd have lived there. ??Keep on keeping on friends and remember, when in doubt just turn the ? music up.“
“I have been to this location a few times. The drive thru line may scare some away, but service has always moved along. The employees are pleasant. Inside and bathrooms are clean.Parking: There is plenty of parking, but the parking lot is a little difficult.“
“Had to make a stop for some coffee the other week on our way up to Virginia to visit family. Staff at this location was the most friendliest I've ever encountered. Great job and it was a wonderful experience all around. Thank you for everything and the coffee wasn't bad either. My mother n law loves the pink drink with almond milk.“
“Hello again, Sherry and Joe, foodies from Washington DC. Living over 20 years in Calvert County Maryland just off the Chesapeake Bay. We are slowly, weekend by weekend eating our way through the menu of this cute Cafe. While this place wholeheartedly deserves five stars it does have some quirks that removes a point or two off a star. Be prepared to ask for a straw and the bench seating along the wall is 2 to 3 inches too high for the table, making it a little uncomfortable to eat. Probably the best place to put the kids to eat. Quite honestly that's all the bad i can say. Everything on the menu is customizable, just ask. Menu items to note. Omg..it's weird but it works...strawberry or apple grill cheese. The owner is happy to explain the history in the making. The bread used is a french bagette, making it all the more interesting. The Greek omlett is awesome and if you like some heat, the chicken and waffles or the One bad hombre. Everything does come off and tastes fresh made. They even have the herb plants they use sitting out. I watch them pick the basil. Everything tastes great to me. This is one of the few places where I actually eat the leftovers in the take home box. I'm picky about bacon. I love their bacon. I can name a few places that I would not recommend NOT to eat based solely on their bacon. You will beat yourself up the rest of the day if you tried your friends home fried potatoes and you didn't order them yourself. Just order them and be happy. Sorry for my jumbled yelp. I hate doing this on my phone.Parking: Street parking. There is a parking lot that is pretty empty during the weekend. It might be difficult during the weekday. I really can't say since I haven't gone any time other than the weekend.Kid-friendliness: Looking at the menu, I would say no. That being said, lots of people come in with kids. I've noticed quite a few regulars. I can only guess that the amazing team of cooks customize or create for their young guests.“
