“My wife and I wanted to stop in for a sandwich as we love Groucho’s! We are from Columbia SC visiting to see family and potentially move up here in the future. Everyone in here is so friendly and so nice. We were served pretty quickly and the food was delicious. Our server, Beth was incredible and made sure we were more than taken care of. We will definitely be back and hopefully enjoy more food here!”

“We had the opportunity to have lunch here on our way back home from Asheville. It was a perfect stop for Asian cuisine, unlike our usual choice of fast food. The food offered here was both delicious and affordable. For just $30, two people can indulge in the Super Ninja option, which includes a variety of protein options like chicken, steak, scallops, and shrimp served in a generous bowl. I hope Katana considers opening another branch in Cary, an area with a sizable Asian population. Highly recommended!”

Our server, Maria said she was in trying she was top notch she checked on several times and our drinks never went below half full and kept the salsa bowls full. We ordered our food and it was at the table in no time at all. The owner was walking around he stopped at our table and had a very nice chat about the history of the restaurant. “Hello again, Sherry and Joe, foodies from Washington DC. Living over 20 years in Calvert County Maryland just off the Chesapeake Bay. We are slowly, weekend by weekend eating our way through the menu of this cute Cafe. While this place wholeheartedly deserves five stars it does have some quirks that removes a point or two off a star. Be prepared to ask for a straw and the bench seating along the wall is 2 to 3 inches too high for the table, making it a little uncomfortable to eat. Probably the best place to put the kids to eat. Quite honestly that's all the bad i can say. Everything on the menu is customizable, just ask. Menu items to note. Omg..it's weird but it works...strawberry or apple grill cheese. The owner is happy to explain the history in the making. The bread used is a french bagette, making it all the more interesting. The Greek omlett is awesome and if you like some heat, the chicken and waffles or the One bad hombre. Everything does come off and tastes fresh made. They even have the herb plants they use sitting out. I watch them pick the basil. Everything tastes great to me. This is one of the few places where I actually eat the leftovers in the take home box. I'm picky about bacon. I love their bacon. I can name a few places that I would not recommend NOT to eat based solely on their bacon. You will beat yourself up the rest of the day if you tried your friends home fried potatoes and you didn't order them yourself. Just order them and be happy. Sorry for my jumbled yelp. I hate doing this on my phone.Parking: Street parking. There is a parking lot that is pretty empty during the weekend. It might be difficult during the weekday. I really can't say since I haven't gone any time other than the weekend.Kid-friendliness: Looking at the menu, I would say no. That being said, lots of people come in with kids. I've noticed quite a few regulars. I can only guess that the amazing team of cooks customize or create for their young guests.”

Great flavor on the meat, as well as bother the Sweet & Smokey and Vinegar based sauces. Even their coleslaw and hush puppies were great.I had mentioned to the waitress that this was my first time visiting, and she was kind enough to give me a sample of their Banana Pudding, which deserves its own review as well! “This was my first time trying this place and it did NOT disappoint! We ordered the cheese bread, pepperoni Stromboli, and the M&M dessert pie. We started with the cheese bread and it was incredible! Super cheesy and perfectly seasoned! The pepperoni Stromboli was 100% the star of the show! It was huge (worth the price) and it was FILLED with tons of cheese and pepperoni! We tried it with their house made ranch and they get bonus points for having great ranch ? the Stromboli was amazing, the slight spiciness of the pepperoni and the cheesiness was a perfect balance. And finally we finished off with the M&M pie, it was good! It was a chocolate chip dessert pizza with M&Ms baked into it! It came with an extra cup of icing for anyone with an extra sweet tooth! Overall this place, the people, and the food are a 10/10! The only thing to be aware of is on the website some of the prices and pictures are not updated to the current prices and presentation of products! But no points deducted on my end because Elise did inform me they’re in the process of changing some things on the website around. I will definitely be back here very soon to try some more of their menu items!”

“I intended to write a review of this establishment a couple weeks ago but it slipped my mind. Yesterday my wife and I were traveling through Statesville, NC at meal time so we went back to this excellent restaurant. Both time we ate there, we were served by Crystal. She was very efficient, articulate, provided good recommendations, and always seemed to be there just when we needed sometime. Over the course of two separate visits we tried the ribeye, blacked meatloaf sandwich, and the Millionaire Meatloaf. All were excellent, and the ribeyes were cooked exactly as we had requested. I would not say that our meals were inexpensive, but both times the check totals were very reasonable. The restaurant is in a nice location, will parking available. The ambiance and decor is very nice, but not overly fancy. The bar and wine area is nicely kept and impressive. The facility is very clean and has nice clean restrooms. There are several party rooms available and these were in the process of hosting groups for events both times we were there. We live an hour from Statesville but I am sure we will eat there more than occasionally in the future.”

Kay handled it very well and the nice man who was really there before was very polite and just waited to the dude for his good to come out. My food and shake came out quickly. It was a great hot dog and was steamy when I opened it, so that was nice. “I was alone and an older person...usually that means I get quick surface service. This evening the service was great. The food was wonderful and when I asked to take leftovers home they were neatly packaged and extra rolls were added. This is my second solo visit and I will go back! And they give a military discount which as a veteran I really appreciate!”

“Such kind staff! Ashley at the cash register was patient, friendly, and attentive. She made sure we had everything we needed. I needed special accommodations for my meal as well and it came out perfectly, which doesn't always happen. The restaurant was also very clean. Best McDonald's experience I have ever hadDietary restrictions: The McDonald's menu is not accommodating to those with gluten allergies or sensitivities; however, this location did what they could to make sure I was taken care of to the best of their abilities. Most other locations have not followed my requests like this location did”

“First time to eat here. Very clean and super friendly staff. The food was fresh and delicious and the portions were very generous. The layout is open and spacious and it's not noisy so you can enjoy good conversation while eating. Really enjoyed lunch bere.”

“Food was good but they couldn't seem to keep a variety of pizzas on the buffet even though it was not crowded at the time. There were only 3 pizzas to choose from. Would have been a better experience if there were more pizzas to choose from on the buffet.”

“Great pizza, great service. Nice clean place, friendly staff. Local favorite!Update: we like to visit weekly. If you're looking for authentic and delicious Italian, you have to try this place. The puttanesca is to die for, shrimp taverna is delicious. If nothing else, the homemade desserts are a must have. I haven't had a true sgfoiatell since we left Utica. Absolutely devine. And pistachio cake.... and grandma's cake,..... Highly recommend.”

“If you’re like me and get jealous of those pizzas they serve in the big city’s like Chicago or NY and think you can only get great Italian American food in one of those places…you are in luck…the food here is as good if not better than any pizzeria in a big city…I’ll go one step further, if you only just had a bowl of their gravy and nothing else you will swear you died and went to heaven…it’s that good and I don’t hardly ever leave reviews…sometimes food can remind me that life is beautiful…this is one of those places…”

“Okay, no place really deserves 5/5 unless it goes the extra mile. Here's how Coach's did that: Seated us less than a half-hour before closing (on a quiet Sunday night), treated us like old friends, served us great food, especially the best cheesy shrimp and grits I've had (based on the bite or two I managed before being informed we had to switch meals!), then when I called two days later from Canada to ask about the Visa card I'd left behind, happily popping it the mail and saving me the hassle of replacing it. Arrived today. Next time I'm anywhere near Statesville, you'll be seeing me. Do not take that shrimp dish off the menu! p.s. Didn't hurt that my fave NHL team is represented in your collection of memorabilia.”

“Why didnt I swing in sooner. I unload up the road all the time but jave never stopped in. Finally did and man i wish i had sooner. Got a buffalo cut prime rib to go and it was amazing. Perfectly cook and tender to it. Will definitely be stopping again next time im down”

“This was our first visit which was pleasant. Our meals which were plentiful and very reasonably priced were selected from quite a varied menu. My fish and sides were good, not salty (which was great). My husband said his meatloaf, 2 sides & salad were tasty. The servers and hostess were quite pleasant. It was nice to see many patrons there too. We will go again.”
