“We had dinner here to celebrate my birthday. It was our first visit! We had a most pleasurable dining experience. The food was exceptional and our server, Jay, was exceptional! He was pleasant, engaged in polite conversation, and most of all he didn't hover. He gave us just the right amount of attention. The complimentary ice cream sundae served with a burning candle and a happy birthday decoration was a surprise and a nice touch. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening and we look forward to many return visits!Kudos to everyone!“

“Hidden gem! I have been in Greensboro my whole life and have never been here before, but am so glad I discovered it. I got a chicken salad with munster cheese, and it was perfect for my lunch break. I will be coming back here. It's the best "sub spot" in Greensboro!!“

“This is definitely a southern diner vibe. Food was excellent--breakfast is served all day! And the service, even though it was very busy, was timely and acceptable. I had the "route 66 diner" breakfast, and it was more than I could eat. I recommend this restaurant the next time you're in or close to Kernersville, NC.“

“Had breakfast there this morning and it was horrible and the service was even worse.. I guess they regular customers are who the wait staff is concerned about. the man clearing the tables was the hardest working one. I decided he deserved my tip.. never will I eat there again“

“Okay, so this place was nicer than I expected... in that I walked in with my 2 small children after having left the trampoline park across the parking lot and wondered if I'd made a mistake. ? The wait staff was gracious though and the food was SOO good! Will definitely be back!“

“Used to bake the best house pizzas in Kernersville. Their pizza has changed and it seems to taste like cardboard with a small amount of vegetables. Please bring back the original pizza!“

“Best Chinese restaurant in probably the entire greater Piedmont, maybe even the state. Their chongqing noodle is particularly good and spicy.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetable dishes. My wife who is pescatarian has no problems finding something to eat here.“

“Excellent Restaurant, sometimes it is attended by the same owner, so you can see that he puts great interest in the service, the delicious food. Even though it is Mexican, all nationalities attend. The Guadalajara-style chicken is delicious, and the ACP are delicious. “

“Our table had the crab stuffed portabella (amazing), crab stuffed flounder (not dry, not over sauced, seasoned great), crab legs cooked to perfection, oysters cooked as ordered, fried foods were not over battered. Calamari was chewy and seared tuna wasnt seasoned much and a little fishy. Its a little loud and seating isn't that comforrable for the older people.“

“Been eating here for years and the food is always delicious, the servers and hosts are always very polite and knowledgeable about the menu, service is very fast, the building itself isnt my favorite atmosphere, could use some remodeling/renovating, everything is a little old and dated looking but always clean.“

“I recently moved here from New York and have been exploring local dining options. I came across Nagoya and was thoroughly impressed by their reasonable prices, generous portions, and high-quality food. I highly recommend trying it out; I've been dining there almost every day for the past week.“

“I made it a point today to seek out this small, hole-in-the-wall taqueria. It's located in a small, very worn strip center, fronted by an Exxon convenience store. The interior is a narrow, rectangular shape with 6 or so booths available for dining in, and though worn and dated, the area is bright and clean. You order at the register, which I did, and my order was quickly taken, efficiently & with a smile. My order consistently of Chorizo Tacos (4) , a single Sope with carnitas as the meat of choice, and an order of Cheese and Pork Pupusas, which comes with a side of spicy slaw! This was plenty of food, at least half of which would travel home with me. And included with my order was a nice quantity of chicarrones de harina (a pinwheel shaped, puffed wheat, very popular, Mexican street snack) along with a small container of the house salsa. These wheat puffs are easy to make, not especially labor intensive, so I assume they, liked everything else, were made in house. I had this many times from street vendors in several different open air markets in Mexico City. These from this restaurant are nice and crunchy, but a bit under seasoned - missing was a healthy dash of saltiness! But dipping them in the provided salsa made them a moot point - this salsa is smoking. and you may, as well! The Sope was layered with a plentiful amount of fork tender, shredded carnitas, and though the traditional outside crust was absent, this was a righteous item. The Chorizo Tacos were equally good with plenty of fresh tasting , ground sausage topped with chopped onion and cilantro, with fresh sliced radish and lime wedges providing additional flavor and texture. Only one tortilla per taco is used here, so there will be more than a little spillage - napkin up for sure! The Cheese and Pork Pupusas were hearty & well grilled, but a bit bland on their own - that's where the spicy slaw and salsa come to the rescue. Excellent food, great service, and nice value - hard to see a reason not to seek this local spot out. Ambiance - 2 Food - 4.5 Service - 4.5 Value - 4.5“

“This was my first time going to this one in Kernersville but I use to go to the one near the Palladium. I went to the take away counter to get something for dinner for my husband. It was simple, fast, and easy. The food wasn't anything spectacular but was ok according to my husband. There was only one thing that I would say could have been seen as negative and unprofessional. There was one teenage girl at the to go counter and one slightly older teenager in the little room right beside the to go area. They were bickering back and forth with each other almost the whole time. They weren't excessively loud or anything but it could have rubbed some customers the wrong way. I also think it was a little over priced also.“

“We're new to the area and let me tell you, I'm happy this place is down the street. We stopped in to try it and it was delicious. I mean, omg delicious. Hubby tried the calamari and he said it was good. "Good" is a compliment for him. I got the pasta soup and it was creamy, hot and the flavor was on point when the yummy bread they serve was dipped in it. My husband got Marsala and he said it was more buttery and sweet than any he'd tried before and he liked it. I got the chicken parmesan with a side of Alfredo so I could try that and make a pink sauce to try, I was full and I needed a box and a little piece of me cried when I realized after eating just half my chicken, that I'd actually only eaten 1/4 because there was another one under the perfectly cooked spaghetti and I could eat this for the next 2 days. I did eat it for the next 2 days and then ordered the chicken parm for lunch a couple days ago. I work from home and food doesn't usually make it piping hot. This did. It needed to cool down. So props to them for packaging it great (and to the Slice driver for being speedy)“
“Stopped in to take a break from driving on I 40 and had such a pleasant experience! Jordan was the only one working and she was so helpful with information about the area and the beers on tap…also very accommodating of my dog! Can’t say enough good words about this place or the bar tender! Will definitely be making this a regular stop anytime I’m traveling up I40 through North Carolina!“

“From the first bite of their delicious fish tacos to the last crispy fry, Melt Restaurant melted our hearts! The spinach dip was creamy perfection, the mozzarella sticks were gooey and satisfying, and the fries were crispy and seasoned just right. A must-visit spot for a fun and scrumptious meal in Greensboro!“

“I don't know why I never reviewed this place. Maybe because I'm in a Hutu eat. This our favorite biscuit place and this is my favorite location. The people taking orders are always pleasant and the service is usually fast. We like the country ham they use. The sausage is pretty tasty too. A side of grits is a must for us to split. Another favorite is the sausage gravy biscuit. Most everything I've ordered has been good. To make this stop more favorable a quick check of your order before you leave the pickup window will help avoid any disappointment. Things happen.“

“My daughter and I recently ate at Phoenix Asian for lunch. Our server was very attentive and friendly. I ordered the red curry chicken, which has a lot of veggies in a red curry coconut sauce. It was good, but I thought it could have had a bit more flavor and less coconut milk, as it was a bit sweet. My daughter had the black dragon sushi, which was very tasty! She also ordered the had the korean Seoul beef bbq, which was good, but wasn't traditional Korean bbq.Our bill came to $85, plus tip, and that was for lunch.I thought the restaurant was very nice and large, but it could use an update.Overall, it was a nice lunch, but I'd like to try some other Asian restaurants.“

“The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because they showed the tentacles when my husband looked for calamari and it was just rings and because the food was so good but I had to eat it with plastic silverware and the forks prongs are super small. Weird but it makes a difference when you're eating pasta. The fettuccine Alfredo with chicken was fantastic. Piping hot and tons of flavor, the chicken was cooked perfectly, as was the pasta. Hubs as usual tried the calamari, said it was ok but he was disappointed with the tentacles not showing up lol. His wings were cooked perfect as well, super hot temperature wise. I'll definitely go back“
“This is a great spot for local drinks. I do wish they had an outdoor space and a door in the back in the winter when the garage door isn't open. Logan is the best bartender! She remembers what we like even if we don't see her for a few weeks.“

“A pizza that tastes like a Big Mac, topped with lettuce and tomato after baking. Nice flavor and interesting but very sweet and rich. I would have preferred it as a slice off of a buffet rather than my entire meal. Staff was pleasant and informative. I would definitely go again but try a different pizza.Vegetarian options: Pizza without meat toppings. Sorry if that’s obvious but I didn’t write these questions.Kid-friendliness: Pizza is popular among most children in my experience, obvious, I know.“

“We love eating here. It's been the family's go-to for veggie plates forever, but we truly love most everything on the menu. They have a delicious beet salad that's unique. Everything was out quick, hot, & delicious. The staff was friendly and on it for all of our needs. We love The Plaza.“

“Love this place for a quick hibachi steak and unlimited white sauce. The husband is the cook and wife usually is the cashier. Unpretentious authentic place. My husband got the shrimp and steak. You can get white rice or fried rice. I can make two meals for one order. They serve a big portion. The steak is not dry. I would have to try the scallop next time. Everytime we fly in to visit family here in NC we always make sure to stop by to get a taste. The vegetables are also good. Nit soggy.“
“Eeeeeeeee! We moved to Kernersville this past spring and are now finally exploring more - and today's find of a LEGIT PANADERIA 10 minutes from our house?!? YESSSSSSSA. So they all operate pretty much the same: grab a tray and tongs, fill with breads and sweets. The selection is amazing-more than I've seen at most here in WS. Some personal faves: Rolls, both round and football shaped. Bolillo has a bit extra egg white so they are fluffy and a bit chewy. Love making nice sandwiches with them. Anything that has a bright red paste. This is guava and it's incredible. Anything that has cheese! These are harder to discern. Anything really, just have fun! Bring cash: it's cheap but you need a $5 minimum. We got two custard things, a donut and two guava treats. I'd be lying if I said that we weren't planning to go back to get some rolls for a nice sandwich for dinner. Everything was fresh and delicious, and moves fast. Things aren't labeled, but after you go a few times you start understanding what things are, and I recommend just trying some new things, or google image what you got to make sure you can get it again. Finally the smell of fresh baked goodies and the kindness of the staff! 10/10 so excited this is so close!“

“Bagels were delicious and so was the chicken salad. I didn't like that I ordered online and had to wait so long inside to get my order. It was sitting behind the counter. I wish there had been a better way to pick it up since some food was hot.“

“This restaurant used to be our favorite. Since the new owners came, everything has gone down hill. The egg rolls are smaller and filled with more rice than anything else. The fried rice is just tan rice with nothing else added. Any dish that is served with vegetables, now expect the veggies to be served raw - uncooked with a sauce over them. The thinly sliced chicken has a lot of fat and gristle. Even the hot tea (overpriced) has a different taste. The last 2 times I ordered the Egg Fu Yung - I was really sick afterwards. If I ever go back I will just order noodle soup with no vegetables or chicken. The waitresses are very nice but I worry about what goes on in the kitchen. Their sanitary rating is low so the kitchen can't be too clean. There are other Chinese restaurants in the area that we will be trying.“

“If you've never had Papa Murphy's Pizza, you're missing out. It's really delicious, even reheated, and I am not a "reheat the pizza" person. There is no seating, so really, there's no atmosphere to speak of, because it's take n bake pizza - you order what you want, they wrap it in plastic wrap, and then you take it home and cook it in your own oven. We always get the thin and crispy crust, and it's delicious.Parking: This is a very small parking lot for a strip that includes Starbucks, Papa Murphy's, a hair salon, a yogurt place, and an orthodontist.“

“My son heard about their robot server so he wanted to eat here. We were in Kernersville for the afternoon so we ate at Don Juans for lunch. The restaurant was more updated than other similar Americanized Mexican restaurants. I was happy that you could get the lunch menu on Saturdays. We had the cheese dip which was tasty. The chips were warm and the salsa tasted pretty good. I wish it had more cilantro in it. The lunch fajitas I ordered were good. They did not come in the sizzling plate so it was not as fun. The shrimp and chicken were delicious. The steak was a bit dry but the toppings made it taste yummy. The rice and beans were fine. Overall a solid place for lunch or dinner.“

“This review is long overdue, moved to n.c 2 years ago and we looooove chinese food as our go to take out meal. Was hard at first to find a chinese restaurant in the area we felt matched the style and flavor we have liked for years. But then we took a chance at bamboo house skeptical at first that a small dated shopping center area would have good restaurants but Wooooooow ! 9/10!!! We loveeee the food!! We have eaten what feels like dozens and dozens of different chinese restaurants and buffets throughout the United states and the number 1 on our list is a similar chinese take out in new jersey that blew us away!!! But bamboo is a solid number 2 or 3 on our list. As long as we live in greensboro this will be our regular spot! Thank you for the delicious food and excellent service!“

“What started as a $4.15 Happy Meal on a road trip the day after Christmas, proceeding to hungry and very angry parents late at night after several other restaurants ended up being closed or refusing to serve walk-in customers, ended with a $40 meal and the angel at the Jake’s Diner drive-thru. I don’t actually know what’s on the menu, and honestly, they probably could’ve served Lunchables and I’d have still given them a four star review. Thank you for being open late the night after Christmas, thank you to the nice girl at the window for simply wanted 3 chicken sandwiches and fries, one spicy, and making it happen. The food was great, the service was quick, and you saved our night.“
