“Was heading from Charlotte when we stopped at this restaurant, and we’re glad we did. Hibachi had plenty of flavor, the veggies were sautéed well and the rice was yummy. Chicken was tender and flavorful. I would recommend giving this place a try!“

“Best Chinese food in Statesville in my opinion! I always get the sesame chicken with rice, crab ragoons, egg rolls, and hibachi chicken with rice. We tried honey chicken last night for the first time, and it didn’t disappoint! Their food is great, prices affordable, and a pick-up order only takes 15-20mins.“

“Absolutely love this place. I come here after school quite often with my friends and have never had a bad experience. It’s locally owned and the people are all super nice. Food is inexpensive and DELICIOUS. Perfect place for coming in to grab some food. It’s usually not busy which is a shame because of how amazing this place is :“

“The food here is amazing! I am a sesame chicken fan! The staff are very friendly! They only do take out, which is quick and convenient. I think the longest I have waited on food there is maybe 25 minutes but they always give you a linger wait time. Your food is usually ready way before then.“

“There is no other Chinese restaurant that can top Lotus’ Scallion Chicken. We make the drive from Kannapolis on Sundays after church just for the scallion chicken Sunday special. The staff is very friendly and recognizes us even though we come sparingly (although for 30+ years) due to proximity.“

“First time trying and I can say that I will be back to try other dishes. Place is small and has tables but limited. It isnt the usual chinese takeout place where there is a huge counter and a couple chairs and a fridge. Maybe one table with menus and business cards on it.I wanted to try beef with mushroom but they didnt have it on their menu. I did ask if they can switch the broccoli with mushroom and they were able to accomodate so I was appreciative of that. I also got egg drop soup. Now the egg drop soup i did not like as much. The egg white were shredded into tiny chunks. I prefer the bigger chunks from most chinese place. The beef was ok. It was not what i was expecting. I prefer the new york style with brown sauce. Not really bad for a take out.“

“Dragon Golden has been consistently tasty for years. They don't have the largest menu you've ever seen, but what they offer is delicious and always tastes the same. Probably the best egg rolls I've ever eaten. Only open for takeout now unfortunately since Covid, and I miss their lunch buffet badly.“

“This is my go to food. I could and do eat this every other day. Everything is good on the menu. Number 9 extra scallion sauce for the rice if you haven't eaten here I strongly encourage you to.Parking: You can park on the side but it's also additional parking across the street.“

“I've been coming to J's for atleast 10 years if not more and it is the only place for Lo Mein. I love the little hole in the wall place they do have a few tables for dine in, however take out is the main game! Don't go anywhere else in Mooresville to get your noodle fix!“

“First time trying, and I'd come again. $13.50 all you can eat dinner on a Friday night. I came around 5pm and most the rolls looked like they were sitting out all day, but I just requested a fresh roll to be made. They did come out with more fresh rolls shortly after. Habachi was very good. The rest of the steam table food was ok, not great quality. Everyone is nice in there. Decor was nothing fancy, just comfortable enough. Overall good experience and just glad I didn't get sick.“

“I stopped in for lunch after always passing by the place but never having time to come in and eat. It's a really small family-owned place, and they were decently busy, but managed exceptionally well for how few people they had working the front.Everything is super affordable, and the portions are really generous. I got the Onion Soup as a appetizer, and it comes with cilantro in it. I've never seen any Japanese place add cilantro to Onion soup before, but it was the best I've ever had.I got the Kyjo Shrimp with Noodles entrée, and it was really large for only being about $13. I feel like it's more than you would get at other places for a comparable amount of money.I didn't get a chance to try any sushi as I was really full after what I had, but I'll definitely be back by again when I'm in the area.“
