“I had my 50th Birthday party there and it was amazing. The venue was charming, had a great atmosphere and the rental price was affordable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The view is like something out of a movie!! We took several pictures and when I show them to people they always ask, "Where was this taken?" We tasted different types of wine and the white wines were great. Nothing against the reds but I prefer white. We had the party catered and they set up right outside the venue, so our food was easily accessible. The food was good and the cooks were friendly. Overall, I highly recommend stopping by and making memories of your own.“

“Hoptown hosted us for my wife’s birthday party. From beginning to end the service was exceptional. During the event we had ample seating reserved as well as an area for dinner and cake to be set. The staff made sure we did not have to come to the bar to order and made it a point to help us clean up at the end of the night. We will definitely be coming back for future parties not to mention weekend beers!!Thanks for being a part of our special night :)“

“We had a large party of 28 people +2 babies and everyone at BluStar was amazing. Food was delicious, hot and served with smiles. This was a special family dinner after a wake for our Mom. The owner personally arranged and managed our party from booking until we walked out the door The Unexpected surprise of Dad's favorite dish was the sweetest gesture. “We done out all the time since we’re in the industry. 95% of the time we are disappointed but the Famous Toastery did not disappoint. We tried a few things off the menu but what we did try was balanced well. Good depth of flavor in their meals, which is hard to find in breakfast food. The stuffed strawberry and blueberry French toast were both great. We’ll be back when we visit Charlotte again. Compliments to the management and owners. You’ve created a well oiled machine“

“Hidden gem on Lake Norman! ? I can say that I have not had a beer here that I wouldn’t order a pint (or multiple pints) of. Everything is absolutely delicious. Beer making geniuses! They have something for every taste. My recent fav is the collaboration with Devils Logic, RETWEET! ? “Parking situation sucks a little bit on a busy day so plan ahead to either wait for a spot or to park on the road. The servers were very friendly and accommodating but a little slow but I know they were very busy since it was Saturday. Food is very good, we all got burgers and steaks and we're all pleased with what we got. The appetizers were portioned kinda small so don't play to feed more than 2 people per app. The view of the lake was beautiful. I wish the music wasn't playing so loud that we couldn't hear each other talk at the table.“

“What an awesome place. Main Street coffee has the coolest vibes. I can't wait to get some work done at the desk by the window. Their coffee was good. We ordered two holiday drinks, (naughty list and something with mint) they were both great but more expensive than we are used to paying. But we don't have a problem paying for quality. The real star of the show was the French toast muffin. It was life changing!! Not even sure I grabbed a photo of it before we devoured it. Seriously. So good. The service was great!! Our barista didn't hesitate to make something special for my husband to meet his pickiness and did it with a smile on her face. Can't wait to go back!“

“Great food. I have gotten 10 pc Teriyaki wings and a side of fries. The wings were so good. Fried just right and the sauce was immaculate! The fries were really good too. The fries was seasoned very well. My alcoholic beverage was liquid marijuana (my go to) and let me tell you after one glass, you will feel it and it was only eight dollars. This is a great bar to go to at night. I wish I had taken pictures of my food and beverage. I was so caught up in the moment. The server/bartender Dalton (I believe that was his name) was very pleasant. The other servers were very friendly as well.“

“Quesa Birria tacos are the best in the Carolinas. We travel around to dozens of Mexican restaurants and these tacos are my favorite. The roast meat is tender, the dipping sauce is favorable, and the shell is crispy. The other food is excellent also, but this is now my goto. The atmosphere and service is great as well. I'm always surprised that the place isn't more crowded.“

“Friendly service, solid food and tons of TVs. Yep, guy palace. Grabbed lunch with my work colleague while we wait. We ordered some southwestern egg rolls to start. Pretty good for premade stuff. I had a buffalo chicken sandwich - crispy and solid flavors. Friendly service and kind folks. Bravo“

“I got a large pizza with onion mushroom and bacon well.... that is what I asked for. I ate 2 pieces. On one piece, I ate 2 pieces on onion, 3 pieces of mushrooms, and no bacon. The other piece, I ate 2 pieces of mushroom and one tiny piece of bacon. My husband had 4 pieces of pizza and noticed he didn't have much toppings either. I will say the pizza was still good, but they lack in putting toppings on the pizza. Oh, and when my husband got the pizza home, they had the pizza cut, and each piece was separated from the others, so most of the cheese had run off the crust on between the pieces. I wish i would've taken a picture when my husband brought it home. I will try it one more time the next time I'm in town. If it's the same, I won't return. I always give a place a second chance.“
