“Small but nice bar with tasty food. The bar was a little busy so I didn't get noticed. Did have to wait a little on table despite reservations, but not a big issue. Just be warn that weekends can be crowded. This is a small place compared to other resturantes. Would advise reservations ahead of time during prime hours. Beer in cans was very cheap and portions of food was just right. Food is pub fair, with a mixture of higher entres. Would eat here again.“
“Went there late evening for a refreshing cold treat to escape the heat. My family was greeted by a friendly young lady who was very eager to assist us. The store was very clean and welcoming. The ice cream was very rich and delicious and a fair price for what we ordered. I definitely will be going back again in the future.“

“What a joint. I had a day trip to Denver, NC today, not leaving a lot of time for nourishment. Had a very small window between my meeting and getting the car back to CLT. Walked in, not realizing they were not open yet. After hearing my situation, the dude asks the kitchen staff if they can fire up a plate of wings for me. No problem. Excellent dry rubbed wings with a pint of killer IPA.Service like this still exists? Bravo. I'll be back.“
“The food is ART. It taste as good as it looks. Eating at Rise Cafe is the entire package! From amazing customer service down to quality and taste of the food. This place feels like HOME. You walk in and feel like family. The place is decorated beautifully. Everyone is just kind. The food is delicious. Hands down one of the BEST dining experiences I’ve had. “We’ve been here a couple times and the food is always good. We’ve noticed that service has diminished since our first visit and I can’t really explain it. Last time we were there it really wasn’t very busy, but barely seen our server. Had to get other servers to help on a couple occasions. Hopefully they can get the service back to where it used to be so it’s as good as the food.Great location right on the lake. Parking can get interesting if it’s a busy day and you’re not there early.“
“My husband and I eat here 4 times a week for lunch. The environment is really clean, the employees are very tentative and nice, and the food is always so fresh and delicious. If you are trying to live a healthier lifestyle with healthier food this place for sure is the answer. The prices are good and they give you a lot of food for your money. “I got a large pizza with onion mushroom and bacon well.... that is what I asked for. I ate 2 pieces. On one piece, I ate 2 pieces on onion, 3 pieces of mushrooms, and no bacon. The other piece, I ate 2 pieces of mushroom and one tiny piece of bacon. My husband had 4 pieces of pizza and noticed he didn't have much toppings either. I will say the pizza was still good, but they lack in putting toppings on the pizza. Oh, and when my husband got the pizza home, they had the pizza cut, and each piece was separated from the others, so most of the cheese had run off the crust on between the pieces. I wish i would've taken a picture when my husband brought it home. I will try it one more time the next time I'm in town. If it's the same, I won't return. I always give a place a second chance.“
“Really nice, chilled out vibe, with tasty food (chicken tenders & spicy potato wedges) from the food truck on site. The beers were nice. We sat outdoors with our dog and enjoyed the music bingo (although the speaker had certainly seen better days! :)“
