“Very authentic Vietnamese food and they put a lot of effort into each dish. Not only did our server know the menu inside and out, he also walked us through the items with such detail while providing context that I left us even more appreciative of the cuisine. As one-time vacationers to Vietnam, eating at Cafe Chinois really took us back. 5 stars all around!“
“This is a little hidden gem in plain site. I think this was an old Pizza Hut from long ago. This place has the best hot/sour soup. Always consistent and never fails. The food is top-notch. From fresh sushi to Pad Thai or a delicious curry, you can't go wrong here. Prices are good, and the staff can get a bit frazzled on a busy night but always pull it together with teamwork. Try this place for some of the best asian food in Wilmington. See you there.“
“Made a stop at Yosake tonight with my girl, my brother and his fiancé, and two other great friends. And wow what a knock out!First off, the cocktails and mojitos were amazing! The speed of service was much better than expected consider how much we ordered and how busy they were for a Friday night! Our server was so nice as was everyone else working there! The real star there is their apps! As a table we shared the Brussel sprouts app, firecracker shrimp, Thai curry baby back ribs, dumplings, chicken and jalapeño eggrolls, and pork belly boa rolls. Oh my god they were all so good.I don’t eat seafood, so I had beef lo main. It was amazing! I got it spicy, I’m a heat freak. The rest of the 5 of my party split 10 different sushi rolls and all raved about it!This is the best Asian place around and we all left feeling like what we paid was well worth it! Check it out and def try the ribs and boa rolls!!“
“Okay this is by far the best sushi in Wilmington and I am a sushi snob! I ordered delivery and everything arrived just how I asked for it so thank you so much for accommodating to my requests :)First thing, you absolutely HAVE to try the surf n turf roll. So delicious! The mermaid roll is a close second to that one, such great flavors. I truly believe this is some of the best sushi I have had anywhere. The spicy garlic edamame- YUMand oh man the tuna salmon crispy rice is amazing!!I enjoyed everything so much(that I only got a pic of the sushi hehe.)Thanks Nori ^.^“
“Thank you! This place hit all the marks! Good ambiance, food was delicious - and great portion sizes - and a happy, knowledgeable server! (They do still exist!)Sorry about the half consumed salmon. I almost forgot to take a picture!Salmon was cooked perfectly, and I do not use that word lightly!I'm not sure what the sushi roll was called, but obviously, it had tempora shrimp!“
“We started out with the Beef Sate. It was wonderful, arriving at the table quickly. They provided us with barbecue wet wipes to clean up. The peanut sauce that came with the sate was thick and creamy. My daughter and I shared a plate of Sweet and Sour chicken. There's a modest $3 upcharge for sharing but it was worth it. The main dish arrived just as quickly. It was not doused in sauce but rather the sauce came on the side. We only drank water and the total bill came out less than $30. We tipped an additional $10 and had a wonderful evening for $40. My fortune cookie read, "the greatest risk is not taking one." Indeed. We will be coming back.“
“Extremely kind employees and very friendly. Food was fresh and just of a higher quality than most strip mall Chinese restaurants. They serve Chinese, Thai, and Malaysian food. I really enjoyed everything I've tried. My thanks to the staff.“
“When I walked into this fine-dining establishment, I was immidiately met with the aroma of cream cheese rangoons frying. The chef went out to meet me personally and thanked me for coming. When I was seated by a hot waiter, she gave me complimentary fountain drinks even though I did not know who she was! The food was quick to arrive and put on dishes from China that looked spectacular. When I dug into the cream cheese rangoons, my friend would not stop begging for them and was chasing me around this fine establishment to grab them. The orange chicken is not for the light-hearted - but it is for the light-bodied. The scallops were cooked well enough but could have been seared a bit more. The filet mignon was cut up - still good but it was a travesty of a supposeedly expensive steak. The chicken was chicken. Better than china wok because when I went I got food poisoning. The pictures on the walls were of hot chinese women and there was one of muscular sumo men - hot pictures for any sexuality. Overall, the highlight of the day was the hot waiter and the free soda and the tempura and well basically eveyrthing. also very cheapcome here :)also hire me if you see this ke you shi i can make foodKid-friendliness: There's a kid cashier that is very welcoming“
“Feels like you're visiting Thailand or Vietnam with the food and decor! We explored the grounds while waiting for our table.A friend recommended we eat here while visiting Wilmington. I'm so glad we did. I had never eaten Vietnamese food, so we got samplers of food and steamed dumplings. All was delicious. The service was great. We thought prices were reasonable. One of the highlights of our trip.“
