“The best sushi I’ve had in all of Wilmington area . They even have menu items I consider to be rare like uni (sea urchin) ! This place was truly a hidden gem & I’m very picky when it comes to good sushi . I was so mesmerized watching the sushi chef work his magic . He even came to say hi at the end of the night . It made the experience all the more special ! 10/10 stars“

“This is the best Hibachi/Teriyaki place in town. The food is amazing, but the staff here is even better. The food tastes great, they serve it up fast with great proportions at great prices, but the staff will leave you coming back. They remembered my name after like, 2 visits. I was just getting some condiments to-go and the staff was going around behind me checking on everyone and making sure they all were happy. You really should check this place out if you haven't already.“

“My husband visits this place atleast twice a week.The food is ALWAYS hot, the food is cooked to perfection, and it’s huge portions.We get the teriyaki chicken/beef and shrimp and it has never disappointed. Easily the best hibachi in Wilmington.“

“Decent casual sushi spot that we stumbled upon one Friday evening. The service was pleasant and quick. They have tons of sushi options to choose from and other Asian dishes along with hibachi for those who don't like sushi. The classic rolls were pretty basic and with average flavors. The combination/specials came with soup/salad as well. The bathroom was also super clean. Definitely a more casual dining experience compared to other sushi spots in Wilmington. They also do a ton of carry out!“

“We love Okami. We visit about once a month if not more and have been doing so for a few years now. We visited last night and had by far the best experience we’ve ever had there. Our waitress, her name was either Savannah or Sabrina (I apologize I can’t remember) was absolute perfection. She was the most attentive waitress I’ve probably had ever at any restaurant. Not only that but she was so pleasant and down to earth. She definitely deserves a raise in my opinion! I will be requesting to be at her table from now on!!“

“My family loves this place, I'm suprised I haven't left a review! The service is always great, with attentive hosts and servers. My husband and I typically get the stuffed jalapeños (huge portion and so yummy) and the dinner boxes (also huge portions with good variety) while my son gets the yakisoba noodles with chicken and brocolli. I always appreciate a place that modifies orders for young kids. The dessert brownie and fried icecream are actually pretty good treats as well! My only opportunity for improvement is maybe a slight menu expansion or seasonal modifications. I do enjoy sushi but the non sushi items are somewhat limited if you are a frequent flyer to this restaurant. Don't let this steer you away though, they have PLENTY of great non sushi options as my husband doesn't eat sushi. It's more of a suggestion for future variety.“

“I was in the mood for regular old American Chinese. I ordered the Szechuan Shrimp combo with steamed rice and it came with an egg roll. For the first time, a cheat meal actually was really good. The shrimp were excellent and I liked the egg roll and rice, too. I also had a delicious wonton soup. None of this meal felt greasy and oiled down. The crispy noodles with the soup were also wonderful. Great choice for American Chinese.“

“Visiting the area and wanted to try this place, it looked like a great value. I ordered and paid online, but one of the dishes got confused. Excellent customer service from them! LouLou immediately offered to fix the correct entree. Even offered me a drink while I waited! Logan even came through while I waited to check on me! “I stopped by Ichiban on the way home from work. This establishment never disappoints. I got the scallops and shrimp, and they were cooked to perfection! The staff members were very kind and it was clear they really cared about the job they were doing. This is the place to go for Hibachi!“

“Have you ever stumbled across a little hole in the wall eatery that was too good not to share? We went through the drive-thru and let me tell you what... the young man that took our order had GREAT customer service! The food took about 5 minutes to make which was fast since it was made fresh to our order. We pulled into the parking lot because it smells soooo good we decided not to wait until we got home! “Small family owned restaurant. Great sushi rolls and hibachi meals. I love the super crunch roll and homemade ginger dressing for salad. Pork gyoza and edamame are my favorite apps here. Never have to wait, fast service and friendly staff! The temp fried cheesecake for dessert is a must try if you like cheesecake! free on your bday!! Lots of Sake choices...i like the pineapple and fuji apple sake. Reasonable prices! Must try!“
