“Food had great flavor. I had the all white quarter chicken and truffle fries with a 22 oz Celtic Ale. Drink was prepared for. Me to take to my table of choice (I chose outside). I had my food before 1/4 of my drink was gone. My daughter got the All American Burger and mac-n-cheese with tea. The price is reasonable for the great service, atmosphere, food and beer received. I will definitely be back!”

“Delicious! The food was excellent and we received great service. The owner, Gopal, gave us some wonderful recommendations that did not disappoint. The lamb meatball appetiser is a must, save the sauce for naan, it’s incredible. The entree of black bass was seasoned and cooked perfectly.
Happy to have a new go to Indian restaurant in the area. We will definitely be back for more.”

“I had researched unique places to eat in Winston, this blew me out of the water! it was everything I hoped for and then some ! The staff was kind and genuinely friendly and attentive. Our waitress was a lovely young lady named Maya- she was an absolute delight. She checked in regularly while multitasking around the restaurant. She had an air of kindness and fun and made me feel so at home . The hostess greeted us with a genuine smile and kindness . She was helpful and was able to get us a table ( we got there in time before it got BUSY) . The food was a religious experience. I had read the reviews but they don't do it justice, yall. Take the time to go out of your way for this place because it's worth every penny . Everything was fresh, plated beautifully, unique, and it was comforting beyond belief . I am genuinely looking forward to returning for many years to come .”

Kurt, our server was above and beyond, to say the least! Ordered the special that he recommended, “best bang for your buck” and he was nothing shy of the truth! By far, one of the best dinners that we’ve experienced, and we are foodies; traveled and ate at some of the best restaurants imaginable, and I can gladly post this review, admitting that we will certainly be back! “If you're delivering sugar or anything heavy here it's probably best to come in through the front entrance and come through the employee parking to get to the dock.. you know how it is backing these autos up hill when heavy.. it's a little easier on your clutch if come through parking lot to setup your back for dock.. in and out less than 30 minutes.”

If you’re not in a hurry and you don’t care how your eggs are cooked or how long it is between the arrival of your eggs and hash browns until your ham shows up or your waffle makes it to the table then this is the place for you - but not at the bar counter because it hasn’t been wiped since the morning shift cleared out and the waitress isn’t happy about being asked to clean it. The food was good even though it came in shifts, the service was minimal as was the server’s personality and the prices were reasonable.”

However, management needs to hire more help. Almost no kitchen staff in there to the point no one is ever at the register the past few months. The employees work hard so its not their fault.

Mc Donalds prices are x3 higher which is absurd, there is no reason you cant hire a few more kitchen staff when i see these prices.”

The waiter mentioned he was having a bad day after the "Shelby came out of me"...I guess a bad day was what he was serving as well even if we just wanted shrimp tacos....I didn't get the tacos...I just got a bad day...then went to Burger King 👑 had it my way. I'll cook my own tacos tomorrow! Don't eat at Mi Pueblo on Stratford road. We couldn't even complain because the manager had to get translation from Lucifer....our waiter.... eat popcorn PBJ sandwich even if you're allergic to PBJ just don't go there.”

It has a cool vibe with the sounds of indie rock music at a nice volume. Service is fast! However, I wish they didn't use so much Styrofoam and plasticware.”

This bakery does ‘Amish style’ baked goods so I was really looking forward to trying them but also peeking inside of their culture a bit while in the store. Although the staff is friendly, no one seemed to explain the menu items, greet customers, and so forth. Even though the owners were there, they didn’t engage with customers or create the sense of community I thought they would have. The food is good, but the atmosphere is a little uncertain and uncomfortable, esp if you’re by yourself. I recommend this place to try, but it’s no where I would go twice.”

“I've been here several times and it's always been a good experience. The service is always 10/10 and they have great burgers, sandwiches, and appetizers also. I also like the weekly specials. There are always interesting new dishes to try, from cheeseburger quesadillas to rueben egg rolls. My favorite items here are the Philly cheesesteak and pimento cheese and bacon burger. Definitely worth checking out if you're ever in the area.”

“I've had occasion to eat at Johnny B's since it first opened. All in all it's a great restaurant, the seating is comfortable, the staff is pleasant and efficient, the food is great, and it's very clean. My only negative comments would concern the volume of the music in the background. When you go in for breakfast, or any time really, you don't need the music turned up as loud as it always is. My other negative comment concerns the fact that they are out of tea bags for hot tea quite often. If tea bags don't come when ordered there is a Food Lion right across the parking lot where a box could be purchased. These are minor items overall, and they won't stop us from dining there, but it would be nice to have these issues addressed.”

We come from a town with a few swanky cocktail bars that “customize” drinks. They don’t hold a candle to the creations Matt has up his sleeve. PLEASE stop here and visit this man and this bar!”

When you order, you know exactly what to expect (unless you are a new customer. In that case, be prepared for a different tasting bbq sandwich).”
