The owners of What Da Pho opened Xia’s about a year ago, and so far, it’s demonstrated staying power. It’s a handsome space inside and out. As expected given its origins, Xia’s menu skews Vietnamese (pho, banh mi, fresh rolls, and lettuce wraps), but there are Chinese influences as well. That menu isn’t terribly large, but it does offer a good deal of versatility, including vegetarian options.

My wife and I went with steamed dumplings followed by short ribs and garlic green beans with beef and rice. The flavors were excellent across the board. The green beans were sharply garlicky without overwhelming the palate while the ribs offered lemongrass notes and a hint of sweetness. The dumplings will make it hard to go back to the frozen version any time soon.

Service was friendly and generally attentive. Our group of four ended up receiving dishes at different times, a possible product of the “small plates” concept blurring the distinction between courses. Speaking of which, expect small portions, especially for the near-entree prices paid. Nothing was outrageous, but a “come hungry and fill up” joint this is not.

If you can look past that limitation, Xia’s Asian Tapas offers tasty food in an attractive location. Provided you aren’t famished, it’s worth checking out.”

“I took my mother and two daughters to eat here today for dinner (04 Aug ‘25) and we had an amazing experience. The staff were so attentive towards us and were so friendly and knowledgeable on the cuisine; we had great conversation with them. I especially loved how they encouraged me to try everything and brought me what I needed to pair it all with. I can’t elaborate more on how amazing everything was, but I encourage everyone else to come in and see for yourself.”

If you’re not in a hurry and you don’t care how your eggs are cooked or how long it is between the arrival of your eggs and hash browns until your ham shows up or your waffle makes it to the table then this is the place for you - but not at the bar counter because it hasn’t been wiped since the morning shift cleared out and the waitress isn’t happy about being asked to clean it. The food was good even though it came in shifts, the service was minimal as was the server’s personality and the prices were reasonable.”

My only complain is the garlic knots; I’ve never had wetter garlic knots, it was like biting into a sponge soaked in old garlic butter. My family loves any type of buttery bread anything but none of us found these palatable. I’d never order the garlic knots again, but the pizza is delicious with exciting topping combinations that are hard to find elsewhere.”

“We’ve eaten at taco mama numerous times ,they’re a little on pricey side but good! Never had problem until yesterday, we waited for them to open so we could place a Togo order for lunch. Ordered barbecue burrito meal , meat was over cooked ,dry had nothing but meat and a lot of meat in burrito they left everything else off that was supposed to be in burrito. Chips were soggy ,no salsa and no guacamole . Ordered shrimp soft & hard tacos they were soggy had two pieces shrimp in each taco no sauce ,they left off guacamole, rice was dry and plain. Idk if they just weren’t ready when they opened but food was not up to there normal standards! Not sure if we will be back for money spent for lunch def not worth it.”

“Place is solid. Small downtown spot so parking can be difficult to figure out but when you finally make it in the interior is bright and relaxed. Food is great and I can't praise it enough. Everything from the burgers, subs, and shakes are completely vegan so please don't waste time asking if any single ingredient is vegan. They have various house made lemonades available and, while the food is pricey, they have a March special of a specific burger, fries, drink, and two cookies for 15 bucks. Makes it easier to be a regular with deals like that. Rewards program too for regulars.
Only consistent gripe is the floor is always sticky. Just a sensory thing for me but I still come anyway.”

“I went to a trunk or treat as a volunteer for petree elementary. Da Munch Buggy was there early. Got settled in adjust menu items for the people, offered a great menu. And that was the start… We had salmon, shrimp, jerk chicken. Mac n cheese greens, brussel sprouts. Now. The mac- on point reheated well. We got food for after. The brussel sprouts were delicious. We ate them as finger food The salmon was perfect and the seasoning… the seasoning. We had grilled shrimp with the salmon and fried… It was all delicious. But the perfection that was the jerk chicken bowl with greens. The perfect heat savor balance. It hits you with the excellent savory smell and then… It was an if I was gonna die tomorrow meal.. And there is always someone over exaggerating with this type of stuff. The last jerk meal I had was made by my dad who has been gone a decade. I remembered times with him… Thanks ya’ll. It was an amazing meal and reminder. Be blessed.”
