Not sure what it was but I didn't care for them at all. I got teriyaki steak which came with gelatinous teriyaki sauce the likes of which I have never seen before. I asked for spicy teriyaki instead and that was definitely better.
I was just disappointed all around...so I will NEVER GO BACK to this location as that was my 1st and last time!“

“There's not enough space to describe how good Tokyo is ! Max is the best bartender around! We have loved getting to know him and enjoying all his concoctions! The owners are the sweetest people and know how to run a business! The food is always fantastic and the prices are reasonable! We come here weekly and don't plan on changing that anytime soon !“

“Kimono’s is my favorite Japanese place around. My go-to is spicy teriyaki steak with udon noodles and zucchini. It really doesn’t get much better.

The staff is always a treat as well, they are always very welcoming!

If you’re in the area and like Japanese food. I recommend giving Kimono’s a shot.“

“I was sad to hear that this restaurant will be closing soon. Although it's been a while since I've visited, it was always my favorite sushi restaurant in town, and it was a big part of my childhood. The food has always been of great quality, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy.

Also, the family running this restaurant has always been kind and friendly to me and my family and would often stop and chat with us when we ate here. Wishing them much success!“

“After getting off to a rocky start with the server - I had to comment to the manager the server was more than a bit agitated - the service improved. My daughters wanted chicken tempura, something not offered on the kids' menu, so I ordered an adult version and split it up between the three of them. They seemed to like it, thus I can recommend it as an alternative to the existing options. I ate the vegetable tempura that came with this meal and found it quite passable. I also ordered a house specialty suchi roll, which was good, save for the fact it is served (per the menu) "seared," which I thought ruined the flavor of the raw fish. I plan to try this again with all raw seafood ingredients, in order to make a decent reporting of the dish. As it is, any other commentary would be insufficient and unfairly rate the dish.“

“Pretty nice little Japanese joint. Had a few appetizers and a roll - got some extra food to go. Employees friendly, as are the clientele that I met tonight. Overall vibe of the restaurant is warm and cozy, menu has a nice selection and well priced.“

“y’all gotta do here! My husband and I just moved to walkertown and hadn’t found a good japense place and decided to go out of the way to try Trido. MY GOODNESS did it out do our standards. The food is AMAZING!! You won’t be disappointed, I got a lot to try. Sushi and habachi- if you’re a sushi lover this place will not disappoint you either! I highly recommend it!“

“A very quiet and peaceful restaurant right in the hustle and bustle of Cloverdale avenue plaza. I am sure there person who took our orders was the owner, so I am guessing it is a family run restaurant. He was extremely polite and patient in helping us choose the order. He was very considerate of the vegetarian options and specifically pointed out if the noodle soup was made from chicken broth or vegetable broth. The food was so delicious and satisfying. No fanfare, just simple people and good food. The home made chilli oil elevated the taste of food so much. Do try for yourself. Lovely experience!!

“The best Thai food I've had in any city. I usually eat the curry, but sometimes the drunken noodles. Both of these dishes here are better than at the other options. Also, Earn is one of the best servers. And her sister is very nice too.“
