“Dang so good! I drop into this spot every time I'm in Asheville. It's a must go to if you want the best Cortado in town. It's right on the river so it has a beautiful setting. The baristas really know what they're doing on a pro level.“

“Food is incredible and the staff are all so lovely and friendly. Dining room is stunning and best of all, free parking! The private label wine that is 1/2 off on Wednesdays is amazing. Such a good spot for business lunches, cozy dinners and the patio is dog-friendly!“

“There’s a reason this cute spot has 4.9 stars! I’d give it 10 if i could! The donuts are so fresh , they make them to order and the smell when you walk in … incredible. But the obvious star of the show is their amazing donuts! I recommend the glaze and powdered! Loved the staff and the atmosphere!“

“This is my favorite coffee shop in Asheville! I usually get a cappuccino, drip coffee, and one of the pastries and they are all fantastic. Ash always makes a perfect cappuccino with properly steamed milk.I’ll often hang out for an hour or two to work in the cozy cafe. I’ve also brought my three year old to the cafe and she thoroughly enjoyed her experience!“

You can get coffee here as well which is a requirement for me for breakfast! They have a lovely patio where you can sit out on a nice day. The service is quick and they have options for everyone depending on what you like. Please stay open forever Yellow Mug! We love having you here.Kid-friendliness: They love kids here!“

“I got drip coffee - a local brew - which was absolutely delicious and hands down 5 stars. I gave the food a 3 star rating because unfortunately the breakfast sandwich was soggy, bland, and frankly inedible. I would however go back and get the coffee again and try something else from the menu. The breakfast brownie for example looked very good.“

“Absolutely love this place! Almost scared to rate it so high and encourage others to stop in. But they truly do deserve it. Wonderful staff always available to answer questions and give insight on their vast menu of specialty cocktails and Mezcal flights. Amazing atmosphere offering both inside and outside seating with heaters to take the edge off the winter temperatures. It is a small building/occupancy but I think it truly adds to the ambience of the space. And to top it off the food truck parked just behind is amazing.Parking: Lot between the brewery and Anoche has plenty of parking. Also a few spots on the street.Kid-friendliness: Not a location I would recommend taking your kiddos.“

“Stopped here on a road trip and didn’t want to leave. Chuck, the owner, is a delight and an insanely talented artist. We had a nice chat while he prepared our lattes (which were some of the best we’d ever had), and what a delight! I’d be a regular if I didn’t live on the wrong coast.“
“such a cool tour, Franco was our tour guide and he was so funny and made a good environment to ask questions! really cool that they allow tours and the info they share is really interesting! it’s free and not super long so it’s a fun short thing to do, plus they have good merch and a cute cafe in “

“Chaunie’s is absolutely the best place to go for coffee! I’m a daily regular that can’t get enough of the coffees and tacos. My personal favorites are the cold brew with salted caramel and house made oat milk, hot mocha, caramel lattes, and tacos. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“After a great dinner, we walked around checking out different shops and looking for a cookie to take back to our hotel. It was our first time in Asheville visiting friends who moved here over a year ago. This was a very popular spot for an evening snack. They had all the classic pastries that you’d hope for, including cheesecakes, key lime pies, cookies. We were pleased and came out with one pastry and 2 chocolate dipped peanut butter cookies. They were fantastic!“

“A quaint little local spot sporting a delicious selection of coffees, espresso, and pastries. We had a drip coffee, a pour over, and two different croissants and everything tasted great. The pour over didn't have the cleanest pull, but that's only if I'm nitpicking. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, but also bustling enough that I could study or work and enjoy the background as white noise. Our little breakfast was scored by Cage the Elephant's album Social Cues and then some late 2010s J-Pop, which helped make the experience feel cinematic. Definitely will be adding this to the itinerary again next time we visit. We also bought a cute mug to celebrate the occasion!“

“The atmosphere and drinks were amazing! However we arrived around 5 o’clock and were told no coffee after 4pm - but they had coffee for cocktails. It was upsetting for our designated driver who was looking forward to enjoying a coffee while we had cocktails. Hoping this rule will change so we can enjoy a responsible night out in the future!“
“My husband and I found this through AirBnB. Honestly 12/10, Toni really knows her stuff, and was so sweet. We learned so much and had a blast getting to brew our own coffees. I’ve already recommended to multiple friends, such a fun day date activity!!!“

“I pass this place driving my daughter to school every day and decided to stop there a few months ago. Now I'm hooked and stop almost weekly! Their quiches are my favorite and it's almost an expectation that my daughter gets some cinnamon roll each time we stop by (They are huge! Perfect splitting size!). The service is so friendly and quick. I'm so happy to find a regular to-go breakfast place of this quality!“

“This was my first time at this cool little coffee shop. The person working was friendly and helpful, even though she had a lot of people coming in and out. The drip coffee was fresh and tasted great. While I didn't eat anything today, they have several gluten free/vegan options for muffins and breakfast bars. Their smoothies seem popular with the people who just finished their yoga class at the studio two doors down.I'm looking forward to coming back to try their Gluten free options!“
“Great coffee, pastries and to-go snacks. This was an awesome addition to Leicester but like some newer spots they aren't that busy yet. Support local! I really think the owners need to invest in better signs out front to draw in customers.“

“The sort of thing you would expect to find in Asheville, this is a retro shop that prints vinyl records and also has a large cafe. I missed the tour, but stopped in for a quick bite. Their chai was heavily spiced with an intriguing flavor and only a hint of tea aftertaste. The pastry they had on display actually wasn't that great, but I took a nice and chewy chocolate chip cookie to go. The cafe was large and would be a nice place to sit.“

“This place is a rare gem. It’s unique and quirky in a world of sameness. The raised, lounge area is sunny and comfortable and a great place to sip a coffee, work, or play.My son loves the free video games and gluten free doughnuts. They have some of the best prices on vintage albums in the city and an eclectic offering of cute, funky, and fun toys and collectibles. The place also serves as a kind of community center and hosts all kinds of events from movies and game nights, to open mic nights, all displayed on a huge Chalkboard calendar. It’s homey and real feeling and a refreshing respite from hipster cafes with pretentious baristas charging $7 for a cup of foam.We have a lot of lgtbq safe spaces in this city, which this place definitely is, but where can nerds go to feel safe? The answer is the Elder Dragon, aka, The Nerd Dungeon.Dietary restrictions: Gf doughnutsKid-friendliness: Kids are welcome and love this place.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level, no steps“

“While the cafe does not have any food options, the drinks are incredible. You can opt in or out of CBD in most of the drinks. The atmosphere is comfortable, with good music and tasteful decoration. Service is swift and the workers are polite and attentive. For the quality and comfort, the prices (4-8$ per drink) are very reasonable.Vegetarian options: As the menu mostly consists of drinks (coffee and tea), it is vegetarian.Kid-friendliness: There are options without CBD for children, and the high is not the focus. A calm environment without any dangers.Dietary restrictions: There are options without milk for the lactose intolerant.“

“A group of friends and I in desperate need of coffee stumbled on this place while on a girls trip in Asheville, and we were not disappointed! Most of our group got Chai Lattes, I got a Lavender Latte, iced. The shop is so sweet; there's ample room to sit and hang out, and even a drive-through if you're in a hurry! How cool for a little local shop! The folks working and making beverages were so sweet and patient with us as we decided what to get. Guys, I got to the bottom of my iced latte and realized my ice cubes were brown. They took the extra step of adding coffee ice cubes to my drink so even down to the last drop was delicious. Definitely suggest this little Gem if you're heading through Asheville and need a refuel!“

“We had brunch here around 10am on a Saturday morning and were seated immediately. There was enough delay before being greeted by our waiter that we had looked over the entire menu and went ahead and ordered food with our drinks. Everything came out in a reasonable time. The French toast only comes with 1 piece which is unfortunate because it was very good. The eggs were under seasoned, but the portions were very generous because of the amount of sides given. All of the food was good but you are definitely paying a premium for the location and atmosphere (eating outside on a patio downtown).“

“Perfect place for coffee and bagels before a busy day. This is a true espresso experience—first time I’ve seen a cortado on a menu since I was the one making them—so don’t expect Starbucks style macchiatos. I definitely recommend coming here if you’re staying at the Renaissance hotel (it’s a five minute walk away).“

“I visited here twice when I was in town. When your friend says their blueberry sourdough pancakes would be her "death meal", you make a point to try it! The service was friendly and welcoming. I asked if their chai was pre-made and they said it was, but it was from a local tea brewer, not boxed from the store. I also asked if it was pre-sweetened, which it was... And normally I would not have a chai that is from concentrate especially when presweetened; but, the staff told me it was more spicy than sweet and I'm glad I ordered it. It was a very flavorful and not too sweet chai. I also ordered the sourdough pancake. It was cooked in a cast iron pan and crispy on the exterior... Very different and intriguing! It was cooked with fresh blueberries in it and it was topped with some sea salt and butter with a side of real maple syrup. I enjoyed the flavor and the crispness of the pancake. However, since it was cooked in the cast iron in butter, it was a bit too buttery for me even with taking off the cut of butter that came on top. (Note: I typically do not put any butter on pancakes.) Also, parts of it were still a little doughy for me. All in all though, I liked that it was a very different pancake than I've ever had before and I would eat it again. They offer indoor and outside seating as well as take out.“

“I believe food prices in general have gotten out of hand. $4.85 for a 6" burrito with hardly anything on it is a little steep in my book. Don't go in hungry or you will pay more and eat more. I had two egg, bacon, and cheese burritos. They were exactly that. The green salsa did make it a little different. The salsa was good. I don't know when they are busy, but I can imagine parking being horrendous. There isn't much parking. The restaurant is in an old building and you can definitely smell the mustiness in the air. I don't have the best hearing and there was a lot of noise behind the cashier, but I could not hear a word the cashier said. Interesting that they would like you to provide a tip up front when you order, but then you sit down and there is a sign that says, "Please bus your table." What was my tip for?“

“This spot is ALWAYS one of the TOP 3 ⭐️ ? I visit, ??NATIONWIDE??, baby! The coffee is better & warmer, their food is waaaaay better, their service is superior, ✨restrooms✨!!Obviously this store sees a huge increase in traffic just due to their location (Biltmore area & the ‘Home’, schools, hospitals, mall & other shopping, etc, etc, etc).Parking: Parking is free, but at peak hours it CAN be difficult. Just be patient, park somewhere you aren’t blocking others, pre-order (if possible) & jet. You won’t have too much of a problem! Just be smart about it.Wheelchair accessibility: It’s there up front & the walk & entrances are very accessible. Should be able to use it with no issue.“

“I’ve tried most of the kava bars in the area… and elevated is by far the one I prefer. Why? Mainly because the “bartenders “ are very social, kind, engaging, and friendly… I used to frequent one in weaverville almost daily and NEVER felt like I was appreciated or appreciated regular. So special shout out to Veronica who not only remembers my name and greets me with enthusiasm and joy but is just overall exactly why I’m done with the “other” one. Also they do so much cool stuff here, their beverages are innovative and hours are late enough!! Thanks Veronica and everyone else there at Elevated!!“

“I order somewhere around 12-15 bouquets from Flora every year. Nothing compares in Asheville. Not only are they the most beautiful arrangements in town, they are also the sweetest people. I had to put my pup down and realized I hadn’t pre-ordered flowers for my mom whose birthday is tomorrow. I’m a mess and the idea of driving to pick up flowers was almost insurmountable. They made it work and delivered the most stunning flowers to me so I can take them to her tomorrow. So grateful. Love you, Flora ❤️“
