“I organized a football team event for 50 held at the Boneyard (their function place), and everything could not have been more perfect. We upgraded to include the ribs which was such a good idea. The reports from the team were all positive, it blew away the Italian meal from the prior year. There was plenty of leftover food which the athletes were so excited to take home. 5 stars. Highly recommend!“

I can’t believe how kind and understanding the service manager was! Holly met us at the table sat right next to my son, and handed him a binder with the whole menu and all kinds of tools to help him feel comfortable. She took out two boys on a tour of the kitchen and made them feel so important. A this was a huge night for our whole family! Thank you so much Holly and the rest of the staff at the longhorn for turning what would have been a rough night into a great dinner out. We really can’t thank you enough! For sides, I went with cornbread and smashers, not because I expected much, but because I needed something to soak up the pure joy leaking from my soul. The smashers? Absolute sleeper hit. Crispy, buttery, and honestly, they paired so perfectly with the ribs that I started getting jealous. Like, maybe they should get a room and leave me out of it.

And the vibes? Peak. Coming from the frozen North, stepping into Big Kahuna’s felt like I had been granted one last vacation before the great beyond. Palm trees? Check. Warm, smoky air? Check. Pieter, the owner, making sure my experience was flawless? Absolute king. That man cares about his food and his people, if he ever runs for office, he’s got my vote.

So yeah, if you find yourself in Hooksett and you DON’T stop at Big Kahuna’s, just know you’ve failed your ancestors. These ribs are legendary. If I could trade my last remaining good kidney for another rack, I absolutely would.“

“We recently celebrated our office's 10 year anniversary and had a Hickory Stix BBQ food truck at the event. We only did burgers and dogs but they were good high quality ones and everybody had nothing but good things to say (had about 100 people). The staff was on time and friendly, and cleaned up with nothing left for us to do. Overall would highly recommend. Really took the stress out of the event.“
