“I went here for a birthday party. The food was pretty good. The only problem I had was I thought it was an open bar but there was a mix up. It was only the first round of drinks that were covered. The crab chowder was great. The crab cakes were okay. The key lime pie was great. I will come back again.“

“In my humble opinion, I must state that my total experience at this “Exceptional Restaurant “ was 10 STARS! The staff greeted when I arrived with a smile and I must admit that the CRAP TRAP has a philosophy of making sure you will have an individual who is a Professional who will advise you and answer any questions about their “SUPERIOR” menu! Our waitress never missed a beat when it came to advising me the in her opinion, I should choose their famous Crab Cake that was stuffed with crab and no fillers! One thing that you will observe, their salad was so fresh and the rolls & muffins were homemade & hot! You have several choices of side dishes & I selected the apple sauce that had to be prepared in house, and the frech fries were crispy and also seasoned perfectly! Our table was spotless, and the whole restaurant had a staff who never rushed you, but was always there to refill you water! I have dined in 5 Star Restaurants on my vacations & business trips, and all I must state is for being my 1ST Visit to the CRAP TRAP, I plan to make it a weekly location and a priority on my “Schedule”! I have wanted to dine there before, but I can add there parking lot suggested that there was a long wait, When I entered, I was so impressed by the size of the inside accommodation! I must apologize for my velours review, but I truly feel that this restaurant is a “GEM”“

“Had a fantastic wrap up to the week at Morton's! Sat at a table in the bar area and had Jack as our server. He was fantastic, the perfect combination of professional and friendly, he was available exactly when you needed him, anticipated needs as courses came out and made the dining experience a joy. Our food was fantastic and their tag line of "the best steak anywhere" is true. The filet mignon we had was exceptionally flavorful and tender as was the lobster tail. The manager JoJo would stop to insure that everything was excellent and that our needs were being met which they were on all levels. We had the grilled lamb lolichops and Brussel sprouts as an appetizer. Phenomenal. First time I've had Brussel sprouts and actually enjoyed them. I had the veal milanese. Which was also delicious. My wife had Warner's bouillabaisse which was loaded with shrimp, scallops, fish, and clams. Absolutely fantastic. We are very likely to return the next time we are in town.“

“We had a wonderful experience at Velo Cafe today! As a party of 7 we were still able to be seated with only a short wait. The cafe is quaint and very nicely decorated and a nice atmosphere. Our server Trinity and all of the staff were so kind and attentive. Our food came out fast and everyone loved their meal. We were celebrating a birthday and they allowed us to bring in a cake. “I’ve been dying to try this place since seeing it featured on Triple D and it did not disappoint. Great atmosphere and the food was off the charts. Definitely try the snapper turtle soup. I also had the chipotle shrimp salad sandwich which is a home run.“

This restaurant is always listed as the best in AC and a top restaurant in the state. I usually worry that places don't live up to the hype. We hear they truly delivered and everything was better than my expectations. If you eat hear you have to do the tableside experience other wise why are you here??? Every dish was fantastic. The tableside mozzarella was a table favorite The Caesars salad was tableside and great. My personal favorite was the Cavatelli. I can't stop raving about it. Was truly the best I have ever had and this is a must get in my book of you go here. The chicken parm was great and so was the halibut We will return I know this review will add to making it more difficult to get in here but it's well deserved Truly one of my favorite places to eat now“

This place is the the best steak restaurant in the area......hands down.My only concern is that the structure of the building seems to be compromised in a sense that there is an inclination inside when you sit. I told the gentleman at the counter to wait for me since I needed to go to ATM machine. He gave me the fish and told me to come back the next day and pay for it. “Apparently nobody there tonight is capable of taking a takeout order I said I want the ribeye steak dinner then I got asked if I wanted to Delmonico steak sandwich I said no I want the ribeye steak dinner and on and on we we go like we have no idea what's on the menu I asked for the the house salad Caesar dressing on the side I get asked if I want five different other kinds of salads! Not only once but twice cuz I hung up and called back and the next person that took my order did the same exact thing was actually a little worse I mean what are they doing watching Facebook on their cell phone while they're taking the order I don't know but I sure as hell wasn't going to order my food from there after that I'm not cutting on Back Bay a house the food's great I never ate in there or stayed in there I always get take out and I usually get it during the day and I never have a problem tonight I don't know who's working there it must be monkeys! Actually you know what that's probably an insult to monkeys...“

“Our family of 8 was vacationing in Ventnor City. We spent a whole day at the beach, and were trying to figure out dinner, when I came across Oceancrat and their family bucket I could order to go (we were too lazy to actually go to a restaurant). When I tell you the family, including a 7 and 10 year old kids, devoured it, it would be an understatement.Once of the best things I've ever eaten, and it came with some great sides. We also ordered wings. It was packaged neatly, and once we got home we dumped a bag of amazingly flavorful seafood boil into a tray provided by the restaurant. Everything was absolutely delicious!! I'd drive to Jersey just to eat it again.For $165 we got:1 LB SNOW CRAB LEGS,1 LB DUNGENESS CRAB CLUSTER, 1 DZ CLAMS, 1 LB BLACK MUSSELS, 2 LB SHRIMP(INCLUDE CORN + POTATO + EGG), FRIED CALAMARI, GARLIC NOODLES, FRIED RICE, HUSH PUPPIES“

“Went there expecting fabulous food, it was on the ok side, nothing to write home about. The asparagus could have been peeled , was so tough. The bernaise sauce on the lobster tails was bland . Waitress never asked if anyone wanted a second beverage , had the table runner not brought back water, we would have had absolutely no drinks at all. While we weee sitting there I do not think she even came back to thank us for the tip . Very nicely decorated for Christmas. I’m sure during the day it has a lovely view of the docs/water/boats. My favorite is Seafood, and my husband is a meat eater and has tried everything from Steaks, lamb, kangaroo, and camel. My go to is scallops or coconut shrimp. “Chef Sheed's BBW food is excellent. Off the beaten path, cannot eat in. Stars off for that but 5 stars for the food. He has his own smoker truck. I had the smoked beef brisket platter. My body won't process meat anymore. It has to be good quality and soft( like a good rare filet mignon) . His brisket was amazing. You get 2 sides with the platter. I got collard greens which were my favorite greens besides my own. Very delicious. And I got Mac and cheese. OMG......it's Mac and Heaven. That honestly is the best Mac and cheese that I ever ate. You have to try it to believe it. Somehow every time I went to the store to get some more, it was closed but I'm telling you, this is some excellent BBQ. Real homey comfort food. I love it.“

“Reviewed on 4/10/24 Stopped in with my sis for lunch yesterday, it's a very popular place for lunch with the local constabulary, Lisa, our friendly server took our order, we chose off the lunch special, angel hair pasta, and meatball, we also ordered two appetizers of breaded mushrooms, and mozzarella sticks, The special came with either soup, or salad, and their homemade bread. We had the Pasta e Fagioli soup and we both found the soup just ok. The mushrooms, and cheese sticks came out nice, hot, and crispy, with good flavor. The pasta, and meatball were just great, the sauce was delicious, the macaroni perfectly cooked, and the meatball, of which I am an authority, was eccellente. I coming back to give their pizza a try.“

My wife got the the meatballs and pasta and the bucatini was cooked perfectly. Our server was Sandra and she was amazing. “The Inn at Sugar Hill is a beautiful restaurant located on a spectacular river setting. Food is incredible and they have a great Happy Hour. The Staff is so kind and have become more like family than friends. There's always a new Cocktail or entree on the menu. When the weather gets warmer, it's fun to sit around the outside bar.
