This establishment is run by the most welcoming, humble business owner (Billy) I have ever met. However, his food does all the talking as its always fresh and tasty. The pizza crust is perfectly crisp every time. The ratio of cheese to sauce is spot on. The toppings are high quality. The flavors complement each other in such that you can taste all the ingredients. The marinara sauce used for the other dishes has a nice balance and does not overwhelm the dish it is served with. The Sicilian slice is probably one of the best I have ever had. The grilled chicken pesto sandwich, and the grilled chicken broccoli rabe cooked to order is amazing. Also, one of my favorites is the eggplant as I can eat that every day, not too thick, not too thin. The bread is always crispy and fresh. After your meal, there is always a Thank You coming from the staff as you walk out with a smile on your face.“

“A solo night out for dinner visiting with Eddie, Ronnie & Danny who always make you feel like you are part of their family. The new space is upscale and cozy. Having a wine locker is a awesome addition being able to have a variety of wines and spirits at my disposal is a great option for a frequent diner. The lobster bisque was rich and delicious and my ribeye was cooked to perfection along with my side of mash. A taste of port wine afterwards with some strudel made the rainy evening an afterthought. “We tasted the difference in the food quality. We suspected that they make everything from scratch, they confirmed it after our meal. All from scratch, including the labneh. I love labneh, but it often tastes similar and not quite as good as I remember people making it years ago. This place has labneh that is unique, homemade, and wow. It stands apart and high above the rest. The veggie mezzo($22) sampler is a must. Absolutely delicious. The falafels are homemade and the by far better than anything I've had in NYC or anywhere else in Jersey. I usually try to find something that can be improved upon and leave it in my comments. But I have zero feedback. I'll definitely return, hopefully often. The gyro wrap($14) was very good, but next time, I'll probably try a falafel wrap. This is my new favorite place. It can get a bit noisy, but the tables are spaced so you're not right on top of your neighbor. Suggestions- Apps- Malfatti, Polpette, Cauliflower Sformatino Main- Spinach & Roasted Garlic Risotto, Cherry Braised Short Ribs, Sunday Gravy, Braised Veal Cheek. After my ginger salad, she brought me Tuna Tataki, which was perfectly prepared and had a touch of smokiness. I couldn’t decide between Seared Salmon Sushi or the River Roll, so I ordered both. It was the best decision ever! The salmon was freshly prepared and melted in my mouth. The Spicy Tuna was delicious and had just a touch of kick, which complimented the richness of the fish. All dishes were fresh, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. The service was friendly, helpful, and courteous, by both the server and the chef, who checked on my satisfaction with the meal. The restaurant is small, with seven tables, and has a bustling take-out service. “The three of us went for a late breakfast. We were seated quickly. The place was about 40% full. We ordered food and then the lunch crowd arrived. Our server was very good and took our order with some special notes without fail. This is our fifth time eating here, and Giovanna did not fail on the food. Cheese steak sandwhich had Sautee onions and plenty of thinly sliced steak. It was delicious. We also had eggs over easy, which was done perfectly. The eggs had those fried little eggs of egg whites. Link sausage was tender, juicy, and very flavorful. Scramble eggs were light and tasty, sliced avocados on top were fresh and complemented the dish nicely. It also came with a fresh fruit cup. A complementary refresh on the coffee is a nice touch. The only downside is that when it's busy, the wait time is long. We have waited .45 mins for a table. Street parking only.“

“Ever since my daughter turned us onto this place, we have gone numerous times. The place is small, however, warm and welcoming. a complementary appetizer is presented upon arrival. Besides chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant or bread it's rare to see an actual appetizer. I'm going to direct this comment to our fantastic experience last night Valentine's Day. As I mentioned earlier, the place is tiny. There are probably only about eight tables to begin with. When we arrived, it seemed to be the beginning of the rush. There was one table left, and we were seated. What followed was a crazy rush. Pick-up orders and people waiting to be seated. As busy as it was, we still received a complimentary appetizer and let me tell you the service was remarkable. They literally had a team of people working three sushi chefs, three or four waitresses plus a support staff of a young man. As busy as it was, the service was as gracious as ever. Our server was always smiling. In fact, everybody was always smiling, even though they were so busy. I have never seen so much activity. Where we were seated, we could peer into the back where most of the activity was going on . Our particular waitress was simply amazing filling Pick-up orders, ringing up orders as well as serving. I highly recommend this place It runs like a well oiled machine and you are never disappointed by the quality of the food. Added we even received a $10 gift certificate as a Valentines . We have become customers, and we travel all the way from Ringwood!“

“Home of arguably the best wings on planet Earth… and this is coming from a wing snob. The wings are consistently a general size, and always incredibly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The K-Ramen is nice and spicy and delicious! Michin dumplings are a go to dish. The bulgogi and bibimbap and perfectly seasoned, and very tender.“

“The food is top notch. From the soup to the sushi. Even the ice cream is delicious. What really bothers me though is the service. There is a 90 minute time limit which I get but when you are rushed to get out by an hour that’s not right. Also when you’re hounding tables waiting to literally take a plate because you have nothing else to do that’s a problem. Finally when you’re coming up to tables and asking them for platters back because you don’t have enough supposedly that’s not good either. Last night I was hounded constantly. Twice I had people tell me to move my sushi to my paper plate because they needed the platter. May I suggest buying more platters. “I love eating here. It's quite possibly the best Jamaican food in the area and in Paterson. There aren't too many cooks in the kitchen, so the quality control is high. The consistency of their fresh food is what makes me keep coming back.In my visit earlier today, they gave me the privilege to taste their newest food item, protein soup. This bean based soup is savory without using any meat. It's perfect for a hearty snack or perfect for after a workout.“

“Came to Sander's to get some kosher baked goods for my coworkers. I really wanted to get some donuts, but it was too early in the morning, and they were still baking them. Ended up getting some rugelach that were fresh from the oven. The rugelach were a hit in the office. The staff really liked them. My coworker who was kosher really liked them too. A bunch of people just kept eating them throughout the day. The rugelach were delicious. The chocolate was good. The pastry wasn't too sweet. The vanilla ones were great too, but I really liked the chocolate ones the best. They have a dress code that they post in front of the store before you go in. Make sure you wear closed toe shoes, cover your knees, and shoulders. It shouldn't be a problem in the winter though. If you want some good baked goods, Sander's is a great option. If you're like me and wanting to pick up some kosher pastries, I would check which certification your friend/coworker accept as there are many they may or may not eat.“

Located at the Marketplace of Elmwood Park strip mall off of Market Street, my partner and I made a return trip after two years to Al Dente for an early dinner tonight. Reservations were easily made by calling the establishment at the spur of the moment. Greeted by the staff upon entering, the patrons seemed to be enjoying their dinners and were seated promptly by the window. The menu featured typical Italian cuisine with appetizers, salads, pastas, chicken, fish, and veal dishes, as well as a special menu. We decided on their specials and got their homemade spinach and ricotta ravioli with blackened julienne chicken in Alfredo sauce and homemade fettuccine with chopped shrimp and sweet Italian sausage in a vodka pink sauce with shaved provolone. Our meal came with a side salad. Complimentary warm bread accompanied by butter started our meal. Food was always made with fresh ingredients, just the right amount of spice, and unbelievably delicious. Portions were just right. They offer a dessert, but we had no room to even try to have any. The service was excellent and accommodating, and the whole wait staff worked in tandem with each other. The price is comparable to the area, and BYOB adds to the value of the dinner. We continue to recommend it to anyone who either loves genuine Italian food or actually knows what genuine Italian food is supposed to be.“
