“Went back to Doghouse after a long hiatus and was pleasantly surprised that nothing changed except the live Jazz music on Thursday nights! Very cool! Food was the usual good greasy type except HUGE portions! My cheesesteak was large and tasty as well as my girl's grilled chicken sandwich... def get your moneys worth! Service was spotty but acceptable but then again it's a hometown pub, what do you expect? Stop in on Thursday nights for the live Jazz, saves a trip into the city!!“

“Cannot say enough good things about this place. It's conveniently located, the delivery service is impeccable (always hot, always on time). Prepare to be in dreamland when you try the plain slice or pie. We also love the sandwiches and wraps, try the turkey wrap, and have loved all the specialty pizzas. We have a few allergies (heartbreakingly, one is garlic) so super appreciate we can get our daughter's favorite white pie without worry. We love the vibe here.“

“One of our favorite restaurants! The food is incredibly flavorful, and everyone from the owner to the greeter to the waiters are a pleasure to talk with, making the experience that much better. It can get a bit noisy, but the tables are spaced so you're not right on top of your neighbor. Suggestions- Apps- Malfatti, Polpette, Cauliflower Sformatino Main- Spinach & Roasted Garlic Risotto, Cherry Braised Short Ribs, Sunday Gravy, Braised Veal Cheek. Dessert- Beignets, Carrot Cake These are our favorites, but I've heard no complaints about any dishes.“

It was the best decision ever! The salmon was freshly prepared and melted in my mouth. The Spicy Tuna was delicious and had just a touch of kick, which complimented the richness of the fish. “I brought family here last night to celebrate my son’s graduation day and was pleasantly surprised. The food was incredible, the atmosphere was working, and the staff was accommodating. I had the chicken with sweet potato waffles, which I’m still working on. In fact the entire family needed boxes, just to give you an idea of the portions. I gave 4 stars for the service due to the restrooms being down a steep set of stairs and we had a few elderly folks with us. I will also offer that ownership should be more outward with which options are dairy free. A couple members of our party are dairy free and one ate very cautiously because they were worried about what items contained milk. They may have enjoyed themselves more otherwise. I’ll be honest. I woke up this morning and the first thing I thought about was eating my leftovers for breakfast. Now that’s how you leave an impression! I grew up in this town and we’ve never quite had a place like this. Straight up, EAT HERE!“

“Great friends took us here last night, and everything was delicious! We had the drunken noodles, pad thai, chicken wings, beer box, and sticky rice with mango. I'm not really a chicken wing person, but our friends love them here, and they were SO right! I have never had such delicious chicken wings! When we walked in, we were given the option to choose our own table and the staff kindly dimmed the bright lights for a more comfortable atmosphere. Although only two visible workers on duty, they were incredibly kind and patient, despite our longer waiting time for food. Here are some examples of their exceptional service:- Our waiter waited patiently while we took our time to order and even explained the menu to us since we were not familiar with Indian cuisine.- When my dad accidentally spilled water on the floor, a waiter immediately came to clean it up.- The staff checked on us regularly and provided us with clean dishes and utensils after each course/meal.(Also there was a free refill for the rice)Overall, we had a great experience at this restaurant and would definitely recommend it to others.Dietary restrictions: My sister is gluten free, soy free, dairy free (she can eat yogurt though but she can't have cow's milk), can't have beef, can't have lentils, can't really have fruit, can't have msg, and some other stuff due to an immunity gut cleanse diet thing. This restaurant was able to accommodate her dietary restrictions nicely and she was able to enjoy her meals without worry.“

The salmon carpaccio was really good! Love the citrus sauce that came with this dish. There was 5 slices of salmon for $16. So it was a bit overpriced. Veggie udon was really good and flavorful! Really hit the spot on a cold rainy day! Parking is a bit difficult but that's the norm in Fort Lee. Overall, fish was pretty fresh but overpriced for the portions.“

“Goodfellas restaurant is an awesome experience. The atmosphere is a Goodfellas theme, with a touch of Italian romance. The ambiance of calm, Soft lights, music (live), attentive and courteous staff, delicious food, and at a reasonable price. Free valet parking, and although the place was packed you could communicate easily with each other and staff. I haven’t experienced such a classy place like Goodfellas in a long while. “Went there for the first time last night, 99% sure the waitress said it was $2.75/plate and then you could order specific plates for 3.75/plate (or more for some of the special stuff). Went there again tonight but was charged 3.75/plate. If you're coming for a normal meal, I recommend it. Would NOT recommend if you're planning on doing an all you can eat sort of thing.“
