“One of our favorite restaurants! The food is incredibly flavorful, and everyone from the owner to the greeter to the waiters are a pleasure to talk with, making the experience that much better. It can get a bit noisy, but the tables are spaced so you're not right on top of your neighbor. Suggestions- Apps- Malfatti, Polpette, Cauliflower Sformatino Main- Spinach & Roasted Garlic Risotto, Cherry Braised Short Ribs, Sunday Gravy, Braised Veal Cheek. Dessert- Beignets, Carrot Cake These are our favorites, but I've heard no complaints about any dishes.“

“Eggplant parm dinner delicious, second time ordering. I was ordering Italian dinners from some other local restaurants. But coworkers raved about the pizza, and fb best of bergen people raved about the eggplant parm.. so I had to try. This place is truly better. Definately check them out!“

“Nico is the top bartender in the area, super knowledgeable on all the beers and food and goes the extra mile for you. Furthermore, the GM Sal is a great guy who also knows all there is to know about local beers and the food at Shannon Rose. Overall a great spot for all types of drinks and food! 10/10“

“The three of us went for a late breakfast. We were seated quickly. The place was about 40% full. We ordered food and then the lunch crowd arrived. Our server was very good and took our order with some special notes without fail. This is our fifth time eating here, and Giovanna did not fail on the food. Cheese steak sandwhich had Sautee onions and plenty of thinly sliced steak. It was delicious. We also had eggs over easy, which was done perfectly. The eggs had those fried little eggs of egg whites. Link sausage was tender, juicy, and very flavorful. Scramble eggs were light and tasty, sliced avocados on top were fresh and complemented the dish nicely. It also came with a fresh fruit cup. A complementary refresh on the coffee is a nice touch. The only downside is that when it's busy, the wait time is long. We have waited .45 mins for a table. Street parking only.“

“As always, Varka impressed. The menu airs on the expensive side, but it's worth it for the fresh fish and quality of the food and service. We celebrated my husband's birthday tonight. We were seated promptly, quickly asked which type of water we would like and the sever was over within minutes for our cocktail order. We had some west coast oysters and a Greek meatball appetizer, which were properly spaced, followed by two fish entrees - it's a smooth operation here. The almond cake for dessert was also lovely. Overall, delicious food and a great date night that wasn't rushed and much appreciated.“

“This was my second time coming to the restaurant the first time I came for a dine and experience, which was awesome the second time it was a pick up order to go the day before Christmas Eve. My daughter was in town and we needed something to eat while we traveled for Christmas . I ordered the spring roll the wonton soup and the chili and basil fried rice. I really enjoyed their wonton soup. The broth has a lot of flavor in it and it's always consistently good. The fried rice has egg, bell pepper, chili, and fried onion in it. The restaurant on the inside is actually quite beautiful and has some great artwork on the wall. Just not the picture and added it here. I will definitely be back. This location is always packed for takeout as well as for dinner and I'd really enjoy their food.“

“We waited a bit to be seated on a Saturday night (walk-in) but enjoyed our visit. The server was friendly, and helpful when asked about the pizza toppings she recommended. We got the eggplant rollatini appetizer which was excellent and then two pizzas. Vodka sauce with pineapples and anchovies (4/5) and her recommendation which was the fra diavolo with garlic, onion and sausage (5/5). There were leftovers, so I would say the portions were pretty good - don't underestimate thin crust pizza!Vegetarian options: Apps, pizza, pasta all have veg options“

“I have to be honest, I moved away from this area and literally haven't eaten here in 12 years so this review is for 12 years ago. But based on the photos it looks just as good as I remember and would love to go back one day! One of the best tasting pizza I've had in all of New Jersey! But I used to love going here for their grandma, meat lovers, and pesto slices. Super great service as well.“

“Tawara is the hidden gem of NJ! I stumbled upon this restaurant during a road trip last year, and have made it a point to return to the area specifically so I can dine at Tawara again. This place makes the list as one of my favorite restaurants of all time. The pork buns are some of the most delicious things you will ever taste. The sunset roll, spicy beef and sashimi have all been fresh and incredible. Everything I’ve tried on their menu is top quality and taste. Raika is also an excellent hostess, bringing a warm and friendly vibe that makes you feel at home. Overall amazing and highly recommended!“

“SMDH, this IHOP is extremely detailed with time and cleanliness, and wait staff is always friendly, however the FOOD COMES OUT COLD !I sent our food back and they returned it microwaved—-The manager has reached out to me and expressed sincere concern and apologized for the inconvenience. So I will keep you updated on our next visit. ??“

“Had a great time at Houlihan's, Ramsey, NJ. "Maria the Great" was our waitress & she was the best! Excellent service! She was very knowledgeable about the menu, very upbeat, friendly, & we will definitely go back! Food was great too! Warm, cozy atmosphere. Go to Houlihan's in Ramsey!
