I traveled a lot for work and I only get one thing here which stacks up amazingly to the best tacos - carne asada on a crispy taco shell. Comes with guac (a must have) and pico, and add the amazing red and green sauces and squeeze of lime - perfection! Top off with a Mexican Coke and you have an amazing and affordable meal - the spice and flavor dances on the tongue and continues to do so after you leave!“

“One of the most incredible farm to table restaurants you will ever dine in!You absolutely must get the fried cheese. It is a staple! I also enjoyed the fried baby artichokes which were so delicate and delicious smothered in the most incredible sauce.If there’s anything there that comes with pork belly, then you absolutely must order it! The gorditas are my absolute favorite, essentially an extremely fat arepa stuffed with pork belly!Also, the fried chicken taco is next level.All the drinks are crazy, but I really prefer the Coquito. And I would be remiss if I did not mention that you must order any and all desserts that they offer! The tres strawberry shortcake is really something special !“

With dinner we tried the Blood Orange Margarita, and the Cosmopolitan, both drinks we highly recommend. We started with the Pork Belly Guacamole, Pulpo, and Flautas de Pollo. All were truly amazing and exciting. As mains, we had the wood grilled carne asada and the Ribeye Plancha. The meat in both dishes was so tender and perfectly buttery. Lastly for dessert we shared the Flan, Tres Leches and an espresso martini. The flan is the true highlight of the night. It is truly so delicate and delicious. It is a MUST TRY. Fausto was our server and was super attentive, kind and very welcoming We genuinely could not love and recommend this restaurant more. “The place is nice , good for quick breakfast-brunch. The menu is pretty big, but the food is not special. We got a flight of jams, it was served with mini croissants, corn muffins and biscuits, but it wasn’t fresh at all. It was warmed up, but tasted like it’s been standing for few days already. I’ve had the smoked salmon omelette that was served with home fries and a toast-it was great. Overall, a nice place but wouldn’t say that I loved it.“

“Came here with a group of 6 girlfriends. It was a bit early so we were seated right away. Let begin to say this is the first time at a Mexican restaurant with a HUGE array of menu options! We were greeted by our server Abel he was fantastic! We all started with a flight of margaritas which were tasty but had no alcohol in them we even mentioned it to the server. He did not bring out extra tequila or anything. The flight cost us $30 each for juice, that is the reason I took 1 star off!! We all shared two orders of guac... really good. Most of us had the mixed fajitas, my other 2 friends had the enchiladas and the sirloin steak and shrimp on a stone. Our food was great, good flavor and portions. At the end, we all were given a shot of tequila, even that shot felt watered down! I would come back here for the food, they definitely need to work on their drinks! If they start to get the drinks right this place would be out of this world!“

“There’s nothing I have not tried from this restaurant that’s ever left me upset. The food here is the best. There’s no other Mexican restaurant I recommend in Plainfield that tops this location. I’ve introduced several friends here and they always go back. The tacos, tortas de milanesa (breaded chicken), chicken flautas, tosatadas de tinga, the sopes and the horchata are my top favorites.At times, they do run out of items because of the demand and they are a small restaurant so they only have about 4-5 tables. I would love to see them expand again! The customer service is honestly great. It’s always women running the register and doing the cooking, I truly respect and admire that.
