“Once again Isola did not disappoint! The food, service and ambiance were exceptional! If you have not tried the stuffed olives for an appetizer, they are a MUST! We also shared the fig pizza which was done to perfection! For dinner, my one cousin and I had the Spaghettini a la Arrabbiata ( a new item on the men) and was DELICIOUS! The rest of my family had the Branzino and short ribs which were out of this world! From entering the restaurant, my family and I were greeted enthusiastically ( and with a big smile!) by Bella at the front desk, we were seated promptly and our server Maureen, continued that warm and enthusiastic hospitality once we were seated and that same level of hospitality continued throughout our time dining. This is by far my favorite restaurant on the island! Thank you so much for another fabulous dining experience with exceptional food and service!! We will be back soon!“
“We got takeout from Bay Village yesterday and it was very good. We got one cheese and one pepperoni pizza. It was slightly dried out but it could've been because we had to drive it back to the beach house about 10 minutes away. The cheese mixture and sauce were a great combination. The service was fast and efficient and all of the employees were friendly!“
“I recently got a cheesesteak from Slice of Heaven. This cheesesteak was absolutely amazing. I don't know who made it but I would consider giving them a raise. I ate half for dinner and then half for lunch and the quality both times was amazing. Thank you Slice of Heaven. I will be coming back to get another cheesesteak very soon.“
“Ordered three pizzas for takeout. The two I tried were very good. The white pizza has nice size gobs of ricotta to go with the cheese and hint of garlic oil. Joey's special was also very good, with a crust that is just the right consistency between pillowy and crunchy. We ordered online, which somehow avoided the 3% credit card fee (the fee is the reason for the deducted star). You can also order via Slice (which charges a flat fee that might be cheaper for larger orders).“
“Detroit style pizza is hard to find in New Jersey. Try this place! The dough is light and airy even though it's thick. The cheese cooked on the outside is delicious. Only open 2 days a week currently and need to call ahead for ordering but it's worth it. Great quality and unique! We tried each of the current types offered : cheese, pepperoni, and burrata. Everyone had a different favorite but all were great!“
