“This place has been on my list for some time and I was fortunate to visit at a downtime. Amongst a city full of pizza shops, Down North stands out among the greats. ENVIRONMENT The restaurant is relatively easy to find and seats no more than 5 or so people in the shop. The wait was a tad excessive which I credited to the food being "made with love". FOOD I love a good piece of focaccia! Another contributor commented that their pizza can be likened to focaccia which I would find to be incredibly accurate. The "Detroit" style was incredibly flavorful accompanied by a heaping of toppings(I settled on the "I'm A Boss"). I will admit the fries left a bit much to be desired but not enough to influence my rating. If you're based anywhere in North Philly between Farimount and Erie Ave, I can confidently say Down North is among the top three picks for the area. Happy eating!“

“Better than “Asad’s Hot Chicken” hands down baaabbbyyyyyy!!!!!!!! The sandwich is heavy when you pick it up too! The flavor is everything, and the coleslaw on the chicken sandwich is fire. Now I dnt even like but the one this place makes is great. Only thing I would say, is to use purple cabbage instead of green for a little variety of color in the sandwich, and to add a little more acidity into the coleslaw as well but you still get that acid from the huge pickles on the sandwich anyway. The fries are exceptionally seasoned, unlike Asad’s fries, which are plain. Their dipping sauce is really good it’s nice and sweet. Which pair is very well with the spiciness of the chicken and fries. The chicken is very moist. Just melts in your mouth lol. they use brioche buns for the chicken sandwiches, which are a very nice fluffy and flavorful bread. Everything about this fried chicken branch is above and beyond. I will be coming back again to try their honey hot wings!!! This place even have chicken tacos. I highly recommend this to anyone living in Philadelphia. Especially those Asad’s Hot Chicken lovers. Yall don’t know what y’all are missing!“

“This is my new favorite place. I really haven't tried anything besides the cheesesteaks and wings, but they are so good that I haven't browsed their other items. This is actually the best cheesesteak I've had in this area, and one of the best including in Philly. The wings are really good too. I honestly don't even like wings, but they are cooked well and they are crispy and meaty. They have this house sauce that is different than traditional wing sauce, but works so well. We got the bourbon honey mustard, polynesian and harvest apple. We weren't really looking for traditional buffalo and these were all more on the sweet/tangy side. The sauces were great to where I didn't even dip them into anything. The tater tots were good. The seasoning was on the salty side but not overpowering. “Bought Wings, and a pizza (specifically a white pizza.) The wings were very good and meaty, the sauce was hot without being overbearing. The wings it should be noted were naked wings. We didn't specify for naked or regular.The pizza was good, and the garlic sauce they put on was excellent. The crust has a nice flavor and it's not too greasy. The only knock I have was the cheese. It's not as stretchy or as tasty as you would expect. That's not to say it was bad just not as good as other shops in the area.This was our first time in.Regardless I'm going back for more!It is under new management, and they have a new expanded menu.“

“I placed my order on Grubhub. The Grubhub driver delivered my order to the wrong address in my apartment complex. Grubhub “customer service” said there’s nothing they can do. They refused to refund the money, as well as refused to submit my order for redelivery.I spoke with the team at Little Sicily, and the owner went out of his way and called Grubhub himself to speak on my behalf. Grubhub still refused. Ultimately, I did not get my order, but I am so grateful to the team at Little Sicily for THEIR exceptional customer service. “Wow I been here once and I'm dreaming of this place still! Workers are crazy nice! Some seating inside and a restroom inside. Donuts are cake donuts, they have some hot and fresh (only few flavors) and some premade - all cake donuts I don't like cake donuts, but I loveeee the cake donuts here. The chocolate has to be my favorite! The glaze was good too. The banana was a no for me, had a weird taste. The strawberry lavender is super messy but so good and only good fresh bc all the sugar. The fried chicken sandwich is good , was a tad salty but juicy and crispy. The egg sandwich was good, had a spicy pepper jam sauce but was good! The fries were good and crispy, and huge portion! “I tried chicken and tteokbokki here. You can choose chicken in small, medium, and large sizes, and the small size costs about $15 for one person (picture attached). You can choose between Korean BBQ, Soy Galic, and Spicy sauce, but I personally recommend soy galic. You can also choose half and half sauce. Don't expect the taste to be the same as Kyochon Chicken, but if you go when you miss chicken a lot, you will be somewhat satisfied. (But the Coleslaw tasted better than I expected.) The tteokbokki was also really delicious, so I recommend it. The price is reasonable and the staff is so friendly that I would like to go again.“

“Beat the stadium food. Stadium Grill by Oogie's is the best hole in the wall for people planning to see a game. Why pay $20 for a mediocre burger when you can pay half that for some delicious, greasy perfection. I came in to Stadium Grill before a recent hockey game with some friends for brunch. Sporting sandwiches, pizzas, BREAKFAST pizzas, and more, we split a sausage Boli platter. Bolis are Stadium Grill's specialty; an edible cup made from pizza dough, filled with egg, cheese, and meat, topped with Everything Bagel seasoning and served with a side of ketchup or spicy ketchup (the spicy ketchup is simply hot sauce mixed in with their ketchup). While I'd prefer to eat Boli's with marinara, the Boli's themselves are amazing. One platter comes with enough Boli's to feed 4 hungry dudes and each Boli is densely packed with protein. The seasoning adds much needed salt and packs so much flavor. It's a must get for groups. Stadium might not be fancy, but it's a fast, affordable, and delicious way to prep before watching a game.“
