“My wife's German grandma loves this place, and often treats us to the family style special. The food is good (certainly the best BBQ you can get in NYC) and the service is always excellent. It does tend to get busy and loud, sometimes louder than is comfortable, but it's always a good time. We went once for lunch, and since it wasn't as busy, that was the best experience we had there. Prices are pretty good, especially for Manhattan. It’s kind of far from where we live but no one can stop us from eating.We were satisfied with their line up. We got their Plain Croissant, Caramelized Croissant, Pecan Sticky Bun and Savory Biscuit as first try. I think I actually prefer the taste of the cake not being completely iced and decorated!! It was a big hit with the party too. $60 for the cake and was able to get about 16 slices/servings from it. “Glace by Noglu is the internet viral hot chocolate in NY. My friend had tagged me in one of their posts shortly before my trip, so I made a point to visit when I was in NY a couple of months ago. They open at 11am, and my cousin and I were there right when they opened, and there was already a long line. We waited about 20 minutes to get through the doors. The hot chocolate is upwards of $10 each. I got the peppermint hot chocolate $12.50 and it was good, it tastes like a regular peppermint hot cocoa to me. I guess what sets it apart from other places is the torched marshmallow fluff. Cute place to grab hot chocolate!“
