“A friend highly recommended we try Butler Family Diner. Dad and I enjoyed our meals. Dad had meatloaf and I chicken parm, both very tasty and nice presentation. “Caldwell diner is wonderful. I have ordered takeout several times now and have always been extremely pleased. I love that when I call to place an order I always get a friendly voice on the other end of the phone - they are SO polite and courteous. The food is delicious and you can tell it is prepared and packaged with care. We have had the Italian panini, veggie and beef burgers, chicken fingers, garden Salad with grilled chicken, and the chicken salad club so far. I am hoping they add matzo ball soup to the menu in the future. Apparently the owners have two other establishments - Tavern 292 in Fairfield and another Tavern 73 in Pine Brook but I haven't had a chance to try them out yet. Anyway, highly recommend!!!“

The kids loved the mickey pancakes and scrambled eggs (2 different orders). “My family and I were looking to meet up at a diner. I was expecting a mega diner half a block long, so when I saw this place I'm thinking we made a mistake choosing it. I was so wrong, the Plaza Cafe was delightful, food fresh and good, the service was great, and we were never rushed. Very welcoming place! Enjoy!“

“I really love this place. It's a new building, spacious and clean. It also has a lovely covered terrace that is used whenever the weather is cooperating. Large parking lot with plenty of regular and disabled spots and an accessible entrance. “First time going to Paul's Diner. We ordered, French toast, French onion soup, corn chowder soup, Trenton deluxe burger and the meatloaf sandwich. What we would go back for is the meatloaf sandwich and French onion soup. Both were excellent!!! We would also back because of the service, our waiter was Andrew. He was very friendly and took our whole order without writing it down! We have a three year old, we asked if he had a paper plate for him to eat from, they did not but he came back with two other options for us to choose from. As a parent I very much appreciated that. The service was a bit slow because of the busyness, just one more staff member waiting tables could've been much more efficient. The menu is enormous even by diner standards, and the portions are huge which makes the prices completely worth it. The server was fine, though he didn't seem to be in a great mood he didn't make any mistakes and was attentive. Everyone I went with said their food was delicious. I ordered the Louisiana Cajun chicken which came with yellow rice and like 7 or 8 different kinds of grilled vegetables and I got 2 large meals out of it.
