“I’ve never left a review for a restaurant but the kindness of the bearded man who sits at the register was extremely heartwarming. He could tell it was my first time there and he gave me a Lebanese dessert on the house as a way to welcome me to this restaurant. The food is well seasoned and the dessert was delicious. If I lived in New York, they’d have a loyal customer.“
“Au Za’atar nails Lebanese cuisine, making me feel like I'm back home with every bite. I knew they were the real deal after taking one bite of their zaatar mana’eesh. They've got a fantastic array of condiments too, each adding a genuine touch to every dish. I also appreciate our waiter, Gio, who was very enthusiastic. We visited during lunch at noon, where they weren’t ready yet to serve their famous shawarma. I’ll be back at dinner hours to try it“
“The food and the service here was incredible. We came during prime time brunch hours on a Sunday afternoon, the wait was reasonable and absolutely worth it. If you're looking to splurge, you must try the banana bread pudding, it was out of this world! Freddy was our server and he was attentive, kind, and personable from the start! He recommended their Lebanese coffee which is stronger than espresso and it was so good! They even served it on a silver platter! This little cafe is wonderful and anyone who comes here won't be disappointed.“
“Izzy was my waiter and host- very welcoming, helpful, and professional. As great and fresh as the food was, Izzy definitely went above and beyond to make a great experience even better. The food was authentic, freshly prepared but came out in a timely fashion. Baklava was light and flaky- the vanilla ice cream accompanying it had crushed pistachios on top- really went above and beyond for the little touches that might get overlooked by some clients. Shows a real pride in their food and service.Decor was of a bistro and had ample space. I did not feel crowded by other tables or patrons.Glad I happened on this restaurant. I will definitely be back again soon.Parking: 100+Wheelchair accessibility: 1st floor access directl from parking lot which had well over 100 spaces shared between the strip mall.“
“Can't say enough about this place. Food is delicious, fresh, and authentic. The atmosphere of the restaurant is comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. The service was wonderful. You feel as if you are the only people there with how attentive they are to you. If you're looking for great Lebanese food, look no further. This place is IT!“
“Had the pleasure of dining at this fine establishment with three of my closest friends. Not only was the atmosphere welcoming, staff lovely, but the food was delicious. Perfect place to catch up with loved ones, while simultaneously enjoying homemade stuffed grape leaves or hummus. Will be back. Thank you!“

“Got to Au Za’atar at 10:30am and waited outside for them to open at 11am, however Rasheed invited us warmly inside and treated us with excellent service. On top of that, food is truly authentically delicious and we were treated with a complementary Labneh, pita bread, and a decadent chocolate ice cream.I highly recommend bringing your friends and family to enjoy the great food, service, and ambiance.“
“What a surprising find and are we happy! Such interesting unique (to me) options and plenty of vegetarian food, creative! The cauliflower pita was cinnamony & good especially with some added dips. The tuna was quite good, even my 11y liked. 13y liked the sausage sandwich. Had to fend off family from the dips and soft seasoned pita ;) Will definitely be ordering here again!“
“The ambiance of the restaurant was lively and inviting, adding to the overall dining atmosphere. As for the food, each dish we ordered was a true culinary delight. From the flavorful hummus and falafel to the perfectly seasoned kebabs and shawarma, every bite was a taste of Lebanon.I was particularly impressed by the authenticity and quality of the dishes. The flavors were rich, the ingredients fresh, and the presentation impeccable. It was evident that the chefs at Balade take great pride in delivering authentic Lebanese cuisine.Overall, our dining experience at Balade was a memorable one. The combination of delicious food, great service, and a bustling atmosphere made for a fantastic evening. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to savor the flavors of Lebanon in a vibrant and welcoming setting."“
“I went to Nala to try out the Middle Eastern Counter and Grill. I wanted to try out a Naya bowl. The cashier notified me that I can customize my bowl with meats and veggie toppings. I chose beef shawarma as the meat of choice and went creative for my Nala Bowl. For middle eastern dishes, never leave out the hummus. In addition to the hummus, I also added onions, lettuce, cabbage, mixed greens, and a feta cheese. I loved the taste and texture of the Nala Bowl the associate helped prepare for me. The meat was especially well-seasoned and the sauce added the perfect spice for the meal. The customer service was excellent, the place was comfortable and organized, and my order was processed smoothly in the quiet evening. Thank you Nala!Vegetarian options: Vegetarians have full control over what can be put in a Nala Bowl, for example. Simply refrain from selecting a meat topping as a choice and proceed to select vegetarian options for your veggie bowl.“
“My first time here but seriously it’s worth of trying I will definitely come back of how delicious the food was I couldn’t take a picture but the service was amazing the guys were very friendly and nice … I will definitely talk about the mix appetizers so good the hummus was on point I ordered the chicken shawarma omg it’s very delicious my family tried the steak was cooked really good we tried the shrimp kabobs wow everything was on point ……. I will definitely mention the mint lemonade so refreshing and delicious“
“If you're not dining at Lashevet then you're just plain missing out. Cozy UES spot with warm and inviting decor. Every dish is delicious (flavorful and filling without being heavy) and the staff here are always so friendly and welcoming.“
“It's a pretty good restaurant to have food in. I tried the Veggie Pitza, yes 'Pitza', the base is similar to the pita bread, not the usual pizza dough, but it tastes great. They have a few different varieties of pitzas. The sauce they provided on the side, when asked. Now those made it way better than I expected. Just because of that chilli sauce I would love to go there again. So definitely go try out there sometime.“
“Delicious, authentic Lebanese food — feels like you’re in Beirut. I’m Lebanese and it’s my favorite spot in NYC for Lebanese food. Highly recommend the zaatar, jibneh (cheese), kafta, or lahm aajeen. It’s all delish. Staff is super friendly too!“
“I love this place. Everything is soo good. Food is very delicious, Service is very good and the stuff there is super nice. Especially Nozha she goes above and beyond to make sure you’re happy with everything. The atmosphere there makes you feel you’re home it’s very lovely and relaxing place. Highly recommended.“
“There is pure LOVE in this food.Everything is so fresh and made to order. This place is special and you can taste it in every bite! The staff was so welcoming. We felt like we were invited into someone’s home. Where they shared their family’s most special dishes with us.TRULY THE BEST FALAFEL AND HUMMUS I HAVE EVER HAD.“
“Good food, decent portions and a large selection of fresh ingredients for the bowl. It's all very fresh. You get a pita with the bowls. The dips are very tasty. We were very satisfied and can only recommend the Naya. The price-performance ratio is great!“
“NAYA is my all-time favorite fast-casual place in NYC! They had the most delicious bowls - I usually get half greens and half brown rice, with chicken shawarma and a bunch of their yummy veggie and hummus toppings. This location is conveniently in Moynihan Train station and I often will pick up a bowl to eat on a long train ride. The portions are huge and very satisfying. Feels healthy but flavorful at the same time. Also their Za'atar pita chips are bomb as a snack, highly recommend!“
“Great, authentic Lebanese cuisine! My parents are from Lebanon and you can definitely tell the restaurant knows how to make traditional Lebanese cuisine, which they have been for years. The meats were really delicious and well cooked. Highly recommend!!“
“We visited on Saturday night before seeing a show at Nutley Little Theater. Warm, cozy space. Very casual. Unbelievably delicious, fresh food at extraordinarily reasonable prices. And did I say the food was delicious??? Great service. They fed us and got us on our way to the theater. Loved it!“
“We had a great time at this place. The food was so tasty and presentable. The service from Raina was a great server. Our chicken and beef kebab was really tasty, although the chicken was a bit on the dry side. However, the yogurt like sauce provided made it juicy and saved the situation. The rice was fluffy fresh and blended well with the grilled like tasting meat provided.Parking was plenty. The decor appears aging and in need of a redo. The walls were painted bluish like, but we prefer the old brown color. However, we were here for the food and the food delivered.Yes, it is recommended.“
“Ordered on their website for pick up - super convenient! There was someone at the pick up register to help me expedite the order. Clean space, decent amount of seating, but low side tables (along wall) so not as ergonomic. Will def be back! Great pita! Got the beef sharwna, baba goulash, veggie toppings, and feta“
“Great food. The staff is friendly and sweet. They are priced reasonably. I expected the mutton legs to be a bone piece, but it ended up being only meat. It was average, not so great. Ambience is decent, I don’t think you would want to expect anything much. Parking is not an issue, they have limited parking spots.“
“I stumbled into this restaurant & was surprised how good the food was. They are different from any middle eastern restaurant. The chicken dish was delicious & spiced beautifully. The lentil soup was delicious & was different to what I always have. Will definitely come back for more!“
“I go here to eat lunch like twice a week. It is a great Mediterranean place that makes nice bowls with a broad choice of protein. You can get a bowl between $12 and $15 depending on the protein you want. The rest of the bowl can be fully customized and you can take as many or as little toppings as wanted.Highly recommend this as a lunch place!“
“Among the variety of foods that you can find on the second floor of this shopping center, we find this one at the end. The prices seem affordable to me and they have a variety of choices. In this case I ordered a chicken shawarma that was delicious, you can accompany them with any topping you want. is a. great option for those looking for a healthy option. The atmosphere in this place is 10/10 you can go with children and you have an excellent view. The attention of the workers was excellent. Of course I would return to this place and I recommend it.“
“The restaurant is really amazing place to go .I went yesterday to take an appetizer but from the nice waitress Marwa I got to main dishes such as mombar and ybr2a it was really delicious . The waitress’s Marwa was really nice lady who helped me a lot and she was really friendly“
“Naya is a unique store in which Middle Eastern cuisine is at its finest. I ordered a Naya bowl with beef shawarma and added delicious toppings. I loved the scenery of the store, the excellent customer service, and the speed of the food handling and order in this quiet evening. Thank you Naya for the delicious food.“
“Delightful visit, the young lady at the counter is super sweet and knows her stuff! The inside has about 15 tables for dining in. Tried the hummus and baba ghannouj entree - all fresh ingredients and delish. I wanted to try the misakka'a and was told I need to call in advance and I definitely plan on it for my next visit.“
“Very cute place with fresh food. Lots of gluten free and vegetarian options. I have celiacs and they put the pita separately for my sister so she could still enjoy. We shared fattouch salad croutons on the side and added chicken, it was excellent. Red pepper dip was our favorite. Hummus was so so. Quick and friendly service.“
“This restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and we didn't feel it was noisy even though there were many people. Service was friendly and good and we shared mezze dishes with 5 people (all with different preferences from vegan to omnivores). The dishes were delicious and authentic, and we'll definitely be back!“
“Everything we ordered was excellent and cooked to perfection. We each ordered a dish and we shared family style so that we got a taste of each dish. Atmosphere was romantic and intimate, condusive to table conversation. Wait staff was attentive and always at the ready and kept my water glass full. Highly recommend for date night or special occasion.“
“My favorite chain for a quick, healthy and satisfying meal. I love falafel, it's one of my top comfort food, so any place that offers nice falafels gets thumbs up from me. For less than $12, you get 5~6 large falafels, one choice of hummus (I picked mushroom hummus this time) plus two substantial sides (beat-root salad and babaganoush this round), and your choice of toppings and sauce. Oh and a warm pita bread too. I could barely finish everything. The place is clean and orderly, the waiting staff friendly and efficient - they have to be, coz there was a long line of lunch rush customers.“
“I dont understand the reviews seriouslyWe made our order via Ubereats and we received all the items, hot and well served. The portions are good and all is good.It said 15 min on ubereats but it was more like 1h15 but We waited and he texted us the time he arrived“
