They were super fresh and delicious... favs were west coast (sorry NJ). Next, came the Parker rolls!!! Probably my favorite part of the meal, but then again, who doesn't like homemade, freshly baked rolls with buttered top and a touch of salt!!! Because everything looked so good, we opted for a bunch of other appys to start! The New Zealand angus beef bites were served with horseradish aioli and a Parker roll, the halloumi cheese was accompanied by orange slices, prosciutto, radicchio and dehydrated olives. The octopus was spectacular... crispy with romanesco sauce, fried chickpeas, cilantro and paprika breadcrumbs. Of course, we had to also try the OHS mussel pot... with chorizo, saffron, garlic cream, sun dried tomatoes... and an herbed garlic roll on top!!! LOVED THEM ALL! It's not often that so many different, but complimentary flavors are presented in each dish!!! We could have stopped our meals there and would have been pleasantly satisfied and full! Next, we chose a couple of the sirloin sandwiches with fries, and the squid ink pasta with Calabrian chili and Meyer lemon breadcrumbs!!! All was very good. The evening was finished with 3 of their delicious desserts... the lemon meringue tart was the perfect sweet with a pucker. The molten dark chocolate cake was decadent. And the trio of gelatos were each so uniquely flavorful and delicious! Wow!!! Given that 100 steps is a BYOB, it makes everything even more affordable! We had spectacular service in this beautiful restaurant with amazing food! It was quite a special evening!“

The burger tasted great cooked perfectly when I ordered a medium, presentation was nice as I ordered a salad instead of French fries. Most importantly they had Aqua Pana for water. The bread pudding was one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. I’m not a whisky drinker but they did have a lot of whisky so if that’s your drink of choice you can enjoy a good whisky with your choice if cheesy goodness. The music was a little loud but not so much that you couldn’t talk to someone. There is also a good amount of pool tables.“

It was finger licking good and I was so surprised that we had no left overs and our guest was inquiring about this place because it was so good. “Was visiting family I decided to stop in my old neighborhood and from a previous stop last year, I know that this place is a solid choice for both food and drink. Sitting at the bar I had a Guinness or two and decided to order pork chops based on the suggestion of the regulars sitting on either side of me. It was a solid recommendation because not only was it much tastier than anything that the chain restaurants offer, but even being very hungry I could barely finish it (the portions are big, they don't skimp). Even though the lady bartender is attentive enough to anticipate when you need a refill and the regulars are friendly, I am still somewhat hesitant to say much more and draw attention to what appears to be a hidden gem.“

Service is fast and accurate to your order. I've never had an ingredient missing nor any complaints of less than expected. The store itself is barebones minimal decoration with some wall attached table tops to eat at and not much else but I hardly eat in and prefer takeout.One minor issue is the 16 Oz bowls they use can be quite difficult to separate the lid from the bowl. It's not normally a prolonged problem with some work but I've had a number of instances with older adults not being able to remove the lid because of the lack of any way to grip the lid or bowl separately. This could be remedied with a simple tab on the lid and bowl but they just don't have it.Either case, Orgreen is a solid take out place with decent ingredients and nice variety. Service is fast & accurate. Each meal will fill you up nicely.“

Similarly, "The Rum Drink" was an excellent summer refreshment—light yet satisfying. Unfortunately, not all drinks hit the mark. The Electric Lemonade was overly sour, reminiscent of Warheads candy, and the Cucumber Southside was dominated by an overpowering cucumber flavor that eclipsed its mojito roots.Appetizers were a similarly varied affair. The Chicken Satay was adequate though unremarkable compared to Thai versions elsewhere, and it suffered from a stingy portion of otherwise tasty peanut sauce. The Fire Dragon Roll, meant to dazzle with its flamed alcohol-infused sauce, ended up a disaster as the sushi absorbed too much of the vodka(?), significantly detracting from its enjoyment and effectively ruining the dish.Main courses painted a more positive picture. Although the 10oz Prime Rib, which I requested medium, arrived well-done, it was still enjoyable enough not to warrant a return to the kitchen. The star of the evening was undoubtedly the Macadamia Nut Chicken—a unique and flavorful dish with a wonderfully crunchy macadamia crust and a delectable sauce that both my companion and I found exceptional.Dessert was a high note on which to conclude our meal. We shared a slice of carrot cake, a perfect balance of flavors with just the right amount of sweetness, and mercifully free of raisins—a common pet peeve. It might just be the best carrot cake we’ve had in a restaurant.Service was exemplary and even a manger stopped by to see how everything was going and comped the carrot cake for us for the birthday. The interior was fine but the window seat we sat by had a lot of bird poop on the windows when lookout. Just made a note on that.Kona Grill offers some standout dishes, particularly in the main courses and desserts, the inconsistency in the starters and some drinks could be improved. The venue has potential for a great dining experience if it irons out these kinks.“

Busser is always friendly and really makes sure tables are clean and you have refills on coffee, water, etc). Servers are usually busy and give you enough attention. This isn't fine dining, and it's SI (IYKYK), and a diner, so I feel, it's all good. Pancakes always fluffy, French toast delicious, and always leftovers from the make your own omelet we always get. My only issue is that they only have regular milk or creamers (but that's a me issue, so I bring my own milk from home! Lol) We're always so eager to eat. They were personable, no stinginess over condiments or extras, and just made everything as easy and relaxing as can be when trying to catch a break from the chaos at EWR (shout-out to Myra and Barbara!) Sure, it’s pricy, but I’d gladly pay more just to dodge the hellscape that is the rest of this airport. So far I've tried the chaufa de camarones (Shrimp), chaufa de mariscos (mixed seafood),and their Rotisserie Garlic Chicken (I ordered 3 whole birds for a party I had and they were a hit). The food is very good, so far; bordering excellent. The portions on the chaufas were plenty; 2 people could easily share, 3 or 4 if you have something else on the side. We also ordered papas a la huancaina and maduros which were also good and enough to share for 4 people (we were 3 on Sunday). My sis n law had the churrasco which she said was very good. The atmosphere is clean, had about 8 to 10 tables and was welcoming. The only thing that management should watch for was that the prices on the menu were not what we were charged; they were about $2 to $3 more per main dish. The extra charge wasn't a big deal but it is worth mentioning as someone else may not brush it off. We plan on going back to try more of their dishes!“
