“The food was very good. I order a burger and fries and the hat kitchen sampler which was very very good. I recommend the latter with what ever you order. The crowd was mixed age and very friendly. The bar maid could have been a little more attentive to my order request as that was my first time there, you know what they say about first impressions. The music was on point. There's also two pool tables and a dart board for your pleasure. An for those who partake there are hookah pipes available too.Suggestion to the owner place a message on the answering machine stating time and days of operation. I almost didn't go because no one answered the phone as I'm not from the neighborhood but I took a chance glad I did. If ever I found myself in orange again I will surely stop by for a bite and to whip some tail on the pool table. LOL!!!“
“Minus one star for the hairs kind of a turn off (gross) but hey doesn’t get any fresher than that as if they killed it in the back lol… good food tho I was recommended by a customer and this is my honest review. You walk in it def old school vibes the smell of burnt smoky goodness! The pork was good the sauce was good. They have huge amounts of chopped meat in the back on the bone which was cool! I also had the bread pudding but ehh hard pass.. definately one of a kind place everyone should visit all the restaurants over 4.0 ratings in east orange it means they are doing something right!“
“This is definitely a place where locals go. I was in the area for some business and stopped for a quick lunch where it was packed. The hostess didn't speak English and my broken Spanish unfortunately didn't get us anywhere. I think they had a typical lunch meal that everyone was eating but we couldn't understand her so she just gave us a menu and we ordered dishes from there. DELICIOUS food and huge portions but was just a bit intimidating.“
“Total soul food; takes me back to the time when my dad was a pitmaster and I was the adoring child. Ribs and chopped BBQ are the best. I buy their sauce by the gallon. When they say hot bbq sauce, they mean it! Keep the yogurt or milk close by if you're not used to it! Collards, mac'n'cheese, candied sweets, salad - all good! Guys are a little spicy, but hey! Goes with the food!“
“The best decision I made was to order the half chicken instead of the quarter. Cooked fresh to order, bursting with flavor and a healthy meal what more could you want. Know before you go - the restaurant doesn’t look like much and because the food is cooked to order call ahead or be prepared to wait 20 minutes.Absolutely recommend for something different, delicious and affordable. “Really enjoyed my meal. There were a lot of meat and veggie choices, and liked cooking on the Korean grill and hot pot. I got the seafood soup, and it was great. My favorite were the bulgogi, short ribs, and the prime ribeye steak! Washed everything down with some cold soju. Service was great. The place had a modern, friendly vibe to it. Had a great time!“

The ordering process was disorganized and there was no one to welcome or guide incoming customers.Despite Meet Moot's potential for an excellent dining experience, it was marred by inconsistent service. For a premium price, I expect a higher standard of dining.“

“Bomb ass food. Had an appt nearby and decided to check in. Ordered shrimp tacos and grilled chicken with rice/peppers. Simple dishes but they perfected it. Lorena was sweet and attentive. The place gives that authentic feel - I really felt like I was in Mexico! Everyone was under 4ft, the decor was Mexican-esque and the music was perfectly aligned. Would return for sure!!“
