“We had our daughters 18th Birthday Bash here at the Appian Way on: February 5th, 2022. We dealt with Bob throughout the whole process. And he was just great! Alot is included in the price you receive. And many other venues don't compare when it comes to price. Helping to save you some money along the way. The rooms are beautiful and my guest were amazed. The workers were accommodating and helped get our room together way before time. This helped us tremendously with getting most of the setup being done the night before. The lighting is awesome. The food was absolutely delicious. My guests are still raving about the food. It really was better than I expected. I will definitely be back to celebrate more gatherings. Thank you Bob and your staff for your get service.”

“If you’re looking for old school Italian, this is a great spot. They made it easy to schedule a work dinner for 9 people, and the service was quick and accurate. The Caesar salad was extremely tasty, as was my pasta dish, albeit a tad salty. The front bar area is also cozy and casual, so it’s a great place for an after work cocktail.

Delicious bakery items (recommend the raisin pastry and chocolate croissant!) and coffee. Really lovely service! “I have been going to Alice’s for about 5 years now. I am so happy with the food especially the stew peas jerk chicken curry goat and oxtails. Even when I was trying to lay off the rice for a bit they would try to accommodate me if they had extra food (yam etc) left over from breakfast to substitute for the rice. Whenever I have visitors I get them food from there. Even persons from Jamaica love his food especially the Jerk chicken. The owners are very kind. Give this place a try you won’t be disappointed. Oh and a nice surprise is that he uses oxtails in his stew peas meal 😬”

“The other day I went to, My Amor Coffee Shop, for breakfast. To say it was amazing would be an understatement. I ordered their Three Eggs & Meat Platter w/ Home Fries. And on a separate occasion I ordered their Corn Beef Hash & Grits w/ Scrambled Eggs. Absolutely enjoyed both Breakfast Platters. The food was very fresh, and was piping hot. Not to mention that everything had great flavor as well too! The lady who takes the orders was extremely friendly, and made sure to tend to all of her customers in a timely fashion. Great customer service! The prices are reasonable, a steal if I’m to be honest. All in all, My Amor Coffee Shop, is an absolute must try if you’re in the, Orange/East Orange area, and are looking for some excellent breakfast!”

“This is my first time here. The food was DELICIOUS! It had me swaying in my seat. We ordered fried catfish with cheese grits, french toast, home fries, turkey bacon, homemade biscuits and a slice of carrot cake for later. I did notice on the menu automatic gratuity of 20% of groups of 2 or more. After receiving such great and attentive service, I didn't mind. Both servers deserved it. I've added J's Soul Food to my list of favorites. I will definitely be returning.

“Came in around 8pm after worked, tired from work, didn’t want to travel for my normal place I go for my west Indian food , I find this little gem and ordered to my dietary standards, got curry goat and all veggies and food was fresh tasting and very well seasoned and tender, was a bit surprised as I don’t like trying new places , definitely will be back to try different menu options, service is great and a welcoming atmosphere.. “This is my Chinese go-to spot since other places are a bit farther. I'm a veggie-lover so my usual is steamed mixed vegetables with white rice and a side of boneless chicken. I've also had the chance to taste their sesame chicken, chicken gizzards, and steamed dumplings and I gotta say their food is pretty good and worth the price tags. I do recommend them since you can also pay by cards!

Vegetarian options: They have various options for those only looking for veggie meals like mixed vegetables with white rice.”
