“Went for a drive through Jersey with the wife. We wanted to visit an area we had not been. Came into beautiful Hightstown. We drove by this little diner and saw the lot packed for lunch and decided to stop in. This was a great choice and experience. Everything was great ? ?. We had the Split Pea soup to start, which was fresh and really good. Then a Hightstown ? and a Chicken Finger sandwich ?. Great coleslaw and burger. The chicken ? was freshly made and really good. “I am a loyal customer for over 30 years. Most of the time I have my food picked up ( average bill $50), but I do eat in about 6-7 times a year with others. Today I discussed with the manager that I almost swallowed a piece of plastic from a container of soup.The roof of my mouth was cut and I bled for several minutes. Manager was very short with me and reluctantly handed me half the price, seemingly not believing me. I will continue to come to the diner ( good food, good service), but was shocked at the attitude. Not even a simple sorry would have been good enough.“

“Just starting going to more halal restaurants lately and as for this one the best chicken wings I've had in awhile. Fresh not frozen, flats just as meaty as the drumsticks. I couldn't decide on what flavor or sauce to get since they all looked good so of course "got all of them"?. Awesome move I must say, but way too many wings for my daughter and I to eat. Although the leftovers warmed up just as good in the oven for lunch the following day(BONUS). “I came in last week and sat at the bar. Vanessa was our bartender, and she was super attentive the whole time. Burger was great. Toward the end of our meal, Lance came over to check on us, he seemed to be a manager. We chatted for the next 10-15 minutes, as if we'd known each other forever. I do not find myself in east Windsor very often, but I will swing by this location the next time I am in town.“

I tried to ask what the chicken maroosh sandwich is but from the explanation, it's the same chicken as the gyro, just different toppings. Chicken on the chicken gyro was alright, interesting flavor that I wasn't expecting but good. I love that it's made fresh to order. The sauce was similar to a tzatziki but a little different. The cheese fries were excellent. Crispy hot and good generic yellow cheese sauce. Asked for ground pepper and we had to get it in a small condiment cup to sprinkle on which was unusual because they didn't have pepper shakers. I'll definitely come back.“

“I honestly rarely do this, especially for a fast food restaurant. I feel like it's hard to even get a smile from strangers these days. I get it, we have bills to pay, we are all extremely stressed, but I have to take the time out of my day to write this, since the worker I came across at this location was so exceptional. My parents & I stopped at this dairy queen yesterday around lunch time with my daughter. We have eaten at this location numerous times before, always very clean & the food is really good. Our experience yesterday was just lovely, I have to give Bob a shout out and the sole reason for this review, I don't know if he is a manger or just hourly employee, and frankly it doesn't matter, because I never met someone who genuinely enjoyed his job as much as Bob and genuinely cared about the guests. He was on the food line/expo line when the line to order got long, so he jumped off the food/expo to open another register to take orders (very rare do I see this). Not only did he do that, when I ordered our food and forgot to use my app to earn rewards for the visit, he said "oh no problem, I can pull up your order again and add them manually." I mean that was so sweet of him, most people wouldn't even care or suggest that at all. I just hope this restaurant recognizes Bob's care and appreciation towards his job and guests.“

We stopped here on the way to somewhere else, just to "grab a bite".I had a Royal Red Robin Burger - Sunnyside up egg, hardwood-smoked bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo with a side of onion rings...damn it tasty, juicy and I at the entire thing and felt satiated.As for the service....that was more along the lines of what I was expecting - waitress dropped a drink on the table and handed me one single napkin so I could clean it up, we asked for the apps and food to come out together...they didn't. All things that are no surprise in the post-covid, good-service work seems hard to find world.“

“Went with my husband and son, brought back memories from when our little family began 27 years ago and we would take mini trips to find this delicious chicken. Same taste and smell, friendly and clean. Spending the weekend with my son and husband made it more special, we don’t get to see our son that much because he’s in the military. Love this place!“
