“We stayed here for a weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were not disappointed. The place is historic and old as dirt. But they've done a wonderful job preserving this great venue. Hardly a bad seat in the house. For the 2 nights we were here, the music was top notch. The food is remarkably yummy, the service is great and the people and vibe is fantastic. Our room was cozy and the bathroom updated. The surrounding area makes for a nice place to wander. If you're a big jazz fan or clueless, this is simply an enjoyable experience.“

“The BTI is a favorite local spot! The environment is warm and inviting and the customer service is great! We love the selection of beers on draft and all the changing craft beer options. Drinks are always well done. The menu has great comforting food options as well as some creative weekly specials! The Mac and cheese bites and the meatball parm sandwich are two of my favorites! They often are super accommodating to any dietary needs or requests as well! We come here often and will continue to do so! Stop by if you are in the area!“

“Traveling through Jersey, looking for a place for lunch. Found Uncle Buck's. The nice Young lady says find a seat. Comes over takes our drink order, the first thing you notice this is filled with local regulars. You step back in time. It's such a wonderful atmosphere, having people talking and asking how the family, as first timers you get the friendly look from all the regulars and everyone goes back to business. Ordered a turkey bacon club and a roast beef club. You again travel back, a fully packed sandwich of roast beef, bacon (perfectly cooked) lettuce and mayonnaise on toasted white bread. The turkey club was just as packed full. Something you don't get in some of the bigger places. Top everything off with a root beer soda and they give you a small bag of chips. Prices were on point. Nothing fancy and to wait for service is not a problem, because I would also spent time with my locals that frequent this place for a good number of years. You can sit and listen to the local people and their stories. Great diner, great food and great people. I can't wait to go for breakfast. Give them a try...“

The food was really good and plentiful, I started with the chicken queseda, and actually had to make that the entire meal; u wasn't sure if I was hoping you going to finish it.I did have to request some extra salsa, but the server was right on top of it. “Wow. Wow wow.. WOW. Truly blown away by the first class customer service that I, and every SINGLE patron in this building received 4.28.24 circa 3:00 to 5pm. NOLLA.. NICOLE.. & GABI (I had to ask for their names, they were that good.), were like high ranking Generals leading troops into battle, through the utter chaos, comprobable to WW3 (as seen in the Terminator series, great films btw). The scene was set by it being the hottest day of 2024, which was foreseen in the weather forecast. And yet no one was prepared for the volumes of customers derailed saw on this most auspicious day. It felt like I was reliving the beach invasion of Normandy on D-Day, and before you even ask.. yes I was present. I have lived past lives and that was one of them. Each young lady handles every request expertly and sat each party in a timely matter. It felt like I was watching Artists of the Era of DaVinci, Michaelangelo, and whoever it was who paint the Mona Lisa. Each guest was served to satisfaction in an environment that would have broken anyone else. THANK YOU Gabi, THANK YOU Nicole, THANK YOU Nolla. and most of all. THANK YOU Derailed. For having the foresight to hire employees who will make sure even through the busiest if times, feel like I was the only customer.“

“Great local, dog friendly dive bar with outdoor seating and a view. We arrived after hiking with our dog and they had just opened. Our server was very sweet and kind, and checked on us throughout our stay at appropriate times. The food was solid and what you'd expect from a divey local bar like this and we were very pleased. Decent beer options, their menu was a little out of date as they didn't have the mango cart but not a big deal at all. I wouldn't hesitate to return my next time in the area! Also they have great daily specials. The day we went they had $5 dozen oysters!“

“I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Firstly the temperature outside and inside was well balanced and I thought the varnishing of the bar complimented this greatly. This was a good break from finding a room mate at college. I ordered my steak raw and it was delicious. I love eating it raw. Hope to be back soon with my boyfriend and his sons.“

Friendly and helpful staff members, we got our order within 5min of placing it. I ordered a blueberry bagel with jalapeño cream cheese, sausage, egg, and cheese. “This is an amazing old fashioned diner, it's on the side of the road next to the river , the food is delicious and the portions are large,I especially like their omelets and the french fries and everything is always fresh and tasty and the service is great and the atmosphere is very nice, it's also famous for being in the Friday the thirteenth movie, the burgers and hot dogs and chili is always delicious, you can also buy shirt's and hat's from the movie Friday the thirteenth there,I have also met the owner and he is a very nice guy, they also have outdoor seating and I definitely recommend the blairstown diner , you must come and try it out you won't be disappointed!!“

“I used to lifeguard at Land of Make Believe when I was in high school and college. This was my go to breakfast sandwich spot. Very good bagels and the coffee was good too. It's been a few years though, I'm definitely going to have to go back soon“

“They pick up the phone every time to take your order. Some places don't once it gets close to closing time. Their steak sandwiches are the bomb and fairly priced. I recently ordered a pepperoni calzone from them and I wasn't expecting what I got. Great tasting and humongous! Biggest calzone I've ever seen. My wife and I enjoyed every bite. Even had some for lunch today.“
