“For starters the feeling when you go in felt like going to have a meal at a family house . The elderly woman at the register felt like my grandma was asking us what we wanted to eat , she was very sweet . The mozzarella sticks were delicious everything was fresh and the cannolis were literally to die for !!! The Sicilian sandwhich was great as well“
“I love this place! Tano is one of the best people I’ve ever met. I’ve known him forever & he treats me like family. He’s always so nice to everyone who walks into his deli. Great food. Better people. Definitely check this place out if you want to be treated like gold & get great food“
“This was my first time ordering and the reviews don't do it justice, you have to go! The people make the food with love and it the quality ingredients show they care! Two people got two halves each - it was lunch for 2 daysKid-friendliness: Browse the market photos - chips, brisk tea etc all available just know what you want, makes it easier“
“Had this for the first time by chance! had a BLT and my boyfriend had the italian on a hoagie.first of all i don’t leave reviews but i just had to leave my thoughts on this place! it was delicious and fresh and the bread was soft and tasty. The portion size was A LOT and the price is very good for what you’re getting, i highly recommend this place to everyone.if i lived closer i would eat here a lot more but i live about an hour from this place!try troy’s deli !!!!“
“I first visited this deli back in the 1960s when I was in highschool. I was visiting Cherry Hill early this year and decided to pay Lou and Ann's a visit. One step inside and I was transported back in time. I recognized the aroma right away. My wife and I had their classic Italian hoagie. It was fantastic. We decided to take one of the entrees back to Richmond on our way out of town. The chicken Marsala not only survived the trip home, but it was delicious. We recently had a birthday celebration for my wife's mom, and we decided to pick up a few of the entrees to serve. We chose chicken and pork Parmesan, along with eggplant parm, chicken cacciatore and some marinara sauce. We complimented these with some real Italian pepperoni and a hunk of provolone. Everything was excellent and the portions enough for 2 people. Be sure to try the meatballs! There are a few tables where you can sit and drink in the atmosphere while enjoying an Italian hoagie or a cheesesteak. Don't forget to get a pickle too. You'll usually find Lou Jr at the counter or in the kitchen cooking up his mom's treasured Italian masterpieces.“
“First time ordering from Marinucci's, we ordered hoagies for pick up. Pick up time was 15 minutes after placing our order. We order a Italian and two turkey hoagies. We were waited on right away and everything was ready. The hoagies were very good. The roll and meat were very fresh and was plenty. We will definitely will order again.“
“Phil and his family are amazing. They are so nice and keep my tummy very happy. Way worth it to spend 2 3 extra bucks over wawa for a sandwich here. They care, it’s always fresh and delicious. My favorite hoagie shop to support. Hands down my favorite. Also love they are small business and very family involved and ran. Just beautiful all around and I can’t believe it took me 5 years of being a customer to leave a review.“
“I had hoagies from a lot of places throughout Northeast Philly to South Philly and in between. Point is, this is the mecca of Italian Hoagies. Grateful they made their way up to my old neighborhood. The hoagie is stacked with enough meat that a half will probaly fill you up. Quality and quantity is hard to be beat.“
“Had Chick's cater my son's first birthday, and couldn't have been more happy with the experience. Joe sat down with me, helped me determine how many portions we would need for the number of people in attendance, and we went through the menu and made the appropriate selections. (For 40 adults and ~15 kids, we ended up getting two cold sandwich trays and ~15 Hot Sandwiches cut down into portions). At the party, the sandwiches were the star of the show. I had a warming oven to keep the hot sandwiches warm, and even after a few hours, the bread did not lose its integrity. We had some leftovers, but not too many, and there was no shortage of folks eager to take some home. 5+ Stars to the Chick's crew for making this process seamless.“
“The Hoagie ring is fantastic for parties. Everyone loves them. They are always delicious and you can get half of 1/2 of another which makes it very easy and affordable one hoagie ring feeds 20 people easyThe potato salad is absolutely homemade with zero artificial taste“
“Old school service. What a bunch of good guys. They're happy to serve you strike up a conversation and maybe even entertain you with a song. Great sandwiches nice variety of groceries and pastas good butcher department. You should definitely stop in. It's a real neighborhood place.“
“I walked in after walking around creek road, I was greeted, saw people talking to each other, ordered my food and a coffee. Coffee is self serve which is a big plus for me. I tried the coffee and was surprised at how good it was for it being from a deli. I ordered a turkey Sandwich and it came out within 3 minutes of ordering, and tasted amazing. It was 11 dollars but it was better than some other places that charge more so I wasn't at all disappointed. Well worth it! Please go“
“I can't tell you how happy I am to have found delicious Polish food in South Jersey! Golabki, kielbasi, pierogi were all delicious and I am definitely going to be going back often! The Golabki are the closest thing to how my mom made them. White Eagle Foods“
“It seems like a nice Italian Deli with what seems to be quality products. I went there for the first time to find those big martini olives. They have the right size olives but I bought the ones in the cold display case which still have the pits in them ?.There was a customer already there who was friendly and made it a welcoming experience. The employees were...well...working...so no warm greeting.Since the place was recommended by a few folks, I ordered a Tonno Tuna sandwhich. It contained VERY little tuna. For $10.95 I guess I was expecting at least half a can of tuna on it.I guess WaWa and Gaetano 's have my expectations too high ?. The hoagie roll was fresh and tasty so next time ( yup, next time) I'll grab the pre-made stuff.Overall not disappointed but now with a different mindset.“
“I am addicted to their bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches. I stopped in one morning for one, now I find myself eating them for my routine breakfast everyday just about. When I think of community based Crown Deli takes the cake of being a place that has a special place in Morrell. Great food and most importantly great people who never disappoint when it comes to hospitality and service!“
“So I Was in a rush while out and needed turkey Lunchmeat. So I googled deli near me found this lil gem! Once I got inside I seen all the sandwiches they had and was tempted so ordered 5- 1 ham and cheese hoagie 1chicken cutlet hoagie 1old world Italian and 2 Pisano….well they were all packed with meat these were amazing sandwiches. My husband said he stopped getting Italian hoagies because they always use ham on Italian hoagies and it’s not the same, NOT Chubby’s OMG delicious and the pisanos sandwiches did not disappoint they were so good!! Also the people there were very kind and friendly we definitely found our new hoagie shop!!“
“Aside from the smaller than expected portions, food was excellent. Counter service very friendly. Philly hosgies were very good. Can't beat the bread. Don't forget the pound cake for dessert. A tasty one of a kind! Well worth a visit.“
“Cheesesteaks and macaroni salad were excellent. The woman who waited on me was really nice. We will definitely return to try other items on their menu. I have heard others say that their potato salad is really good. They have table amd chairs so you can sit there and eat also. Nice place!“
“I work in the area and had the hardest time finding a good hoagie. I stumbled across this place and all I can say is OMG, THIS IS A HOAGIE!!! The meat, cheese, roll, everything was so fresh. I don't usually do turkey hoagies but this turkey hoagie was to die for. Thanx Lori's Deli, you have gained a new customer. I live in South Philly and definitely will travel for your hoagies. If the hoagies rock, you know everything else is on point also. Keep up be the good work guys....God Bless“
“If I could give them more than 5 star I would . We have known the owners from many years and nothing but amazing food and friendship. The meats, hoggies, and salads are always fresh and taste delicious. The workers are super sweet and will talk to you for hours. Nothing but love for the people and the food.“
“This place just happens to be next door to us, but I would happily drive for their food. Their breakfast sandwiches are THE BEST as long as you are hungry because they are BIG. Harry started making these deep fried balls lately too, and they are so good I get them at least two to three days a week.“
“If my hair was bleached blonde and spikey, I would say that this place is the real deal taco joint that you gotta check out. If I wore bowling shirts and gold chains, I would say that this is the funky little dive for your authentic Mexican eats. It 's El Changarro in Bensalem Pennsylvania. I'm proof that you can get fat on cocaine.“
“Heckers son still owns it he never got married n.wow he would of made someone a fantastic husband it was great.seeing the store n my old house were I was born n raised i.sat in the park.n ate my radio ball n took my 2 Chihuahua prince n Ginger a wall around the grace yard were I walk my first Chihuahua I was 8 n his name snoopy I miss him“
“Our go-to stops for soups and hoagies! People rave for their sandwiches every time we bring them to tailgates or serve at parties as a hoagie tray. They're friendly when calling ahead to pick up the order! They have chips, pickles, and drinks too, making it an easy one-stop-shop for lunch on the go!“
“Frey's Deli & Pizza sits in a small strip center on northbound Lincoln Highway (Rt.1) in Penndel, PA. It is an unassuming place with a few tables, a big front window, and prep area in the back for pizza and takeout. There isn't much in the way of provisions in the refrigerated display case, but what they do have is either made inhouse or Dietz & Watson. I asked about their tuna salad, and was advised it was prepared fresh that morning and a popular seller. Good enough for me, I went with a whole hoagie with lettuce, plus sweet/hot peppers. Opened it back at the office. It was heavy in the wrap paper, and substantial upon opening. Not only was the tuna as good as advertised, but the roll had a nice crust and texture that was a pleasure to bite through. Quality sandwich all the way. Tasty, and not the least bit fishy. Just enough mayo to hold everything together and blend perfectly with all the ingredients. One of the better deli sammies of recent memory. Prices were good, too. Only downside - there wasn't much to chose from in the drink department. Definitely would benefit from more selection for washdown. But, other than that, Frey's was a very pleasant surprise nosh.“
“We tried Nene's for the first time today and it was amazing!! I ordered a Caprese sandwich and it was packed full of tomato and Mozerella! The balsamic was also very thick and very yummy! This sandwich was one of the best I've had in a long time and it was priced much cheaper than other sub shops in the area. I can't wait to go back and try other sandwiches! The staff was also very nice and the food came out quickly.“
“if you want the best true Philly Deli food THIS IS THE PLACE! it's all about the roll and the ingredients and these folks know what they are doing. Simply the best....and Rocks has been around forever: I bought lunch here in the 70's - and it was fabulous then - as well!“
“The best & freshest produce, breads and sandwiches. The are thee kindest & most thoughtful folks that you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting. They truly go and beyond for their patrons. Such patience as well as being gracious“
“Very friendly husband and wife daily dialy, no trouble really, most of the customers have been going there for yours,as well as myself we are all like family, they are open until 7pm week days, and open until 12 midnight on the weekends, the only take away is they don't sell hot food, but very good sandwiches and hoggies, and very good drinks including nips, they also play lottery for you or they have the machine you can play yourself,I really like it and I think you will as well.Kid-friendliness: As I stated before you couldn't ask for nicer people“
“This is a great place. New owner is super nice and engaged with the community. Food is fantastic and fast. Way fresher than Wawa. Highly recommend you give it a chance! Plus they have lots of little grocery items which Croydon needs because we don't have any actual grocery stores.“
“This is the best small corner store I have ever visited. The owner is very kind and friendly, and the food is amazing. It may take a while to prepare, but it is definitely worth the wait and the price. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars, because it deserves it. I highly recommend this place to everyone who just needs to enjoy a good meal.“
“I was visiting family in NJ and was craving a breakfast sandwich like the ones on Long Island. I'm from Ohio, so we don't get to delight in these sandwiches often. I walked in on a Monday morning. They were kind and prompt and helped me order what I wanted. $6 for a egg bacon cheese sandwich on a roll. It was quick to be made and delicious! Everything was clean and orderly as well. They have drink and chip options too. The new specials are in my photos. I can't wait to come back for a lunch wrap.“
“Jack's Cold Cut serves up some of the best sandwiches in Bensalem, packed with fresh, delicious meats. A true family-owned gem, this place epitomizes quality and customer satisfaction. Support local and enjoy a standout meal at 1951 Street Road. Don't miss out!“
“I LOVE this place. The owner is usually on site, friendly, and knowledgeable. Inventory here is always fresh, and delicious. Hands down, they have the BEST lunchmeats in the city. If you're looking for an ACTUAL deli, not a beer store, this is the place!!! If I could give a 6th star for the fact that if they're busy, they will take your phone number and call to let you know your order is ready, they would most definitely have a 6th star. They're serving up customer service at its finest!!!“
“Love everyone there honestly everyone but that girl who just sits talking on her phone and blows disgusting cigarette smoke out the door all the time. Major attitude and gives regular customers a hard time, again she does this all the time .“
“Place was in need of repairs, over all the food was really good, the breakfast at $8, is full course meat eggs, potatoes, coffee, toastits ,cooked in front of you ...after the remodel and more booths this place will be a strong contender of a place to eat in the area“
