“Over all a good experience! The appetizers are probably the best part of the dining experience. The entrees are a little too high price for the quantity of food given. Albeit it is a higher end in terms of establishment I don't feel the elegance dictates portion. The dumplings of all sorts are certainly the highlight along with the robust and bountifully sized sides.Vegetarian options: Quite a few vegy options considering the menu type“

“This is my 2nd time getting take out since they opened. Everything we have had has been delicious and the service is on point. I’ve ordered sashimi, special rolls, chicken lomein, soup, all perfection. The sashimi is fresh and prepared and plated well. My favorite appetizer so far is the Hamachi Kiss. So refreshing and flavorful. So glad to finally have a decent sushi restaurant that also has a menu full of many Japanese and Chinese choices as well. Can’t wait for my next visit.“

“Great food at amazing prices - well worth your visit. One of my favorite appetizers is crab rangoon. I've tried a bunch of places and this is by far the best. They are full flavored, crispy, and the perfect pull-apart star shape. We tried both the hand drawn noodles in a soup and the shaved noodles in a stir fryThree treasures - amazing! The shrimp was perfectly cooked, plus you can add your own spice level with Sriracha or house made chili paste. It was hard to pick a favorite dish between the two, but luckily they are large portions so I'm bringing home leftovers!“

“An absolute MUST when in Philly. There are so many vendors with so many different things. There truly is something in here for everyone. Very vibrant inside. There are so many choices: Filipino food, oyster bar, coffee shops, a pickle shop, delis, sandwich places, ETC! Absolutely loved Reading Terminal Market!“

“Ray's is a hidden gem, offering an amazing variety of top-grade coffees and teas. I have been waiting for 20 years to try 100 percent Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee and found my cup waiting for me at Ray's. The staff is kind and welcoming and the tea and coffee cups beautiful. “Diving into Golden Triangle unveils not just a meal, but a passport to a culinary expedition specializing in the Southeast Asian flavors of Thailand, Malaysia, and Myanmar. Tucked away in the heart of Philly, this humble gem offers an intimate escape to distant lands with its quiet, casual ambiance and a cozy dining room that boasts no more than eight tables. Our adventure began with the Malaysian classic, Roti Canai -- a delightfuly crispy, flaky, chewy marvel that serves as a prelude to the symphony of flavors awaiting us. Paired with a rich curry chicken potato dip, this dish was a standing ovation in the making. Then came the Sambal Shrimp, a bold ensemble of shrimp reveling in a spicy brown sauce, creating a festival of taste that had every fork in the room longing for an encore. The Beef Rendang, while a masterpiece of flavor and tenderness with its slow-cooked, aromatic curry, left us longing for a second act, as the disappointing portion size was more of a soliloquy than a full-fledged aria.Despite the small dining room, Golden Triangle played the perfect host to our group of six (including a baby car seat), accommodating us at their sole large table--a testament to their ability to harmonize space and service. While the Mee Goreng and Penang Char Kway Teow flavors were well balance and added depth to our culinary journey, both dishes lacked a bit of the smoky "wok hay" that I was yearning for. The Burmese Kimchi introduced a zestful twist to the meal as it was our first time trying any Burmese food, but it wasn't particularly memorable. In the end, the Roti Canai and Sambal Shrimp emerged as our favorites of the night.Overall, Golden Triangle is more than a dining destination; it's a quiet nook where flavors dance and diners are invited to a show that tantalizes the taste buds and warms the heart. With its intimate atmosphere and welcoming vibe, it stands out as a beacon for those seeking an immersive culinary experience in Center City. Here's to more explorations at this quaint culinary corner, where the world feels both vast and intimately close, all within the confines of its quiet, casual dining room.“

“I had never tried Pho before, but was looking for something warm and spicy to battle this chilly weather we’re having. I ordered over the phone and when I went to pick up my food the owner was so incredibly friendly. He told me about how it gets chilly in Vietnam in the evenings and they’ll make their broth spicy to warm them up. The food was incredible, spicy enough to warm you from the inside and so very flavorful. I will definitely be back.“

“Great little spot for a quick dine-in or takeout. Good food at good prices. I had the chili oil wontons, which were great, and a lunch special order of chicken pepper and onions. Additionally ordered a lychee jelly green tea which was awesome! All made for a nice lunch.“

“Such friendly service and food was delicious! Can be more spicy but if you ask they can give you their homemade crushed red chillies. We had their pad Thai, Thai peanutty noodles, pineapple curry, pad see ew and crab fried rice. Everything was very tasty! Some of the best Thai food we’ve had and we’re always looking for good Thai.“

“Large selection of both kbbq and hot pot, and really large hot pot bowls! LaTao is really the only hot pot place that isn't in Chinatown, so it's convenient for U-City. Their lunch prices don't apply on weekends. The most annoying part was that each table only has one hot pot heater and one kbbq grill. We only did hot pot and had a party of 5, and one person couldn't reach the soup at all without standing up and walking around the table, so someone else had to serve her the whole time. Portions of each item are small and it's hard to get ahold of the wait staff to order more, but overall was good. I wish there were more options for hot pot meats, especially because there is no thin sliced pork, and I feel like thick pieces of meat are weird in hotpot. However, I felt like the large selection of items added value. We thought that the broths were just okay, but the sauce bar with a wide selection added flavor. This isn't the most incredible hot pot I've ever had, but it wasn't bad for the value. I would come back if I had a craving for hot pot, but probably not all the time.“

“Excellent Thai food. We ordered chicken spring rolls and chicken satay for appetizers. Spring rolls were crunchy and flavorful and the satay was spicy and sweet. The chicken Pad Thai was very tasty and the presentation was beautiful. Just don’t sit by the door if it’s cold out, customers tend to leave it open. They could benefit by putting a automatic door closer on that door.“

“I ordered take out so I can’t truthfully comment on atmosphere but this was the freshest Thai food I’ve had. The vegetables were not cooked to death and didn’t taste like they came from a frozen veggie mix bag. The strawberry crepe was unexpectedly delicious. They also packaged my food up so nicely as well which I really appreciated. Will definitely be dropping my previous Thai take out restaurant and using Pinto Thong Thai from now on!!!“
