Make sure to make a reservation because it gets crowded quickly. Fortunately, the staff is so excellent that I saw them handing out free tapas samples to the people who were waiting! Instead of focusing on pushing folks out the door, they focused on making sure that the wait experience was spectacular!! ???? I was absolutely impressed!We had a great server, Tabs, who absolutely knew her stuff; nailed every wine recommended! Going here just for the wine is absolutely acceptable because it’s SO good.For food, we ordered a charcuterie board, a few tapas, the paella and a chocolate cake for dessert. Out of the tapas we ordered I recommend, the Patatas Bravas, the Albondigas and the Croquetas. The charcuterie board was also a must. “Another great meal and overall enjoyable experience at the CG. I was meeting with old friends, and our server so open and friendly, she just added to the fun. The atmosphere is so elegant, classy for a steakhouse, and just a touch of rustic. Low lit, so it adds a bit of privacy. All of our meals were simply excellent. The calamari was crunchy, tender not chewy, and spiced just right. There was this cold crabmeat 'salad' that was amazingly fresh and bright tasting. Just a deep bowl of fresh chunks of lump crabmeat. The truffle fries were perfectly salted with a crunch outside and soft tender inside. The truffle taste took it up a notch. The steaks were prepared to a perfect medium. The meat was soft and tender. The lobster was sweet and buttery. The crème brûlée was a perfect way to end the night's culinary journey. The bartender even nailed the drinks.“

“Great spot for Happy Hour (lasts until 6pm), and love that you can make a reservation in advance. Service was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. They were quick to clear things which was helpful since we were at a small table. Atmosphere is cozy. We got happy hour drinks (rose, red, and a Venetian spritz) as well as two of their cheese boards. The Gorgonzola stuffed figs were a bit intense as the name might suggest, but we liked what they had otherwise. Spritz was $9 Wines were $7 Boards were $9 each“
“I have only good things to say about this place. I thought at first it was a little odd to have steak tartar served with fries but the pairing was actually really good! Everything was amazing. I have never had such a complex gnocci dish and it's probably the best I've ever had. The scallops were perfect. Mussels, snails... all of it. “Visiting Philadelphia over Easter. Ended up at Prunella Sunday afternoon. The Honey Fitzgerald cocktail was amazing! Ordered the Caesar salad which was a great surprise to the tastebuds, and the pizza was just so damn delicious. The service and atmosphere was perfect. Had dinner the previous evening at The Capital Grille, but I enjoyed Prunella for the casual feel and experience we had. Prunella will be first on my list when visiting Philadelphia next. I just loved everything about it!“

“I hosted my 30th birthday at Jet back in November 2023. The service was extraordinary. From the start, communication with Jet was timely, helpful, and easy. Emily, the manager, was a delight to work with and even made little menus for my guests. The bar packages were extremely reasonable and I was allowed to bring in my own decor and birthday cake. We selected the drink package with a signature drink and the red wine mule was DELICIOUS. The snacks were a hit and everyone really enjoyed the drink options. Adam, our bartender for the night, was so friendly and helpful! I can't say enough about how wonderful Jet is, and I'm so glad we have such a great local spot close-by.My husband and I are also members of the wine club at Jet and they have such a fun wine selection and newsletter. Jet regularly hosts creative events and are such a benefit to the neighborhood.“

We reserved for couch seating before the required minimum fees start at 10.Service: initially very attentive but as the place got busier the drinks sometimes took awhile. Not a big deal. It was a little weird sometimes when 1 or 2 drinks would come and not the rest or the order but I know they were just trying to get them out.Drinks: we didn’t get any food so can’t comment but cocktails were decent. I wouldn’t say amazing but pretty good and I liked them.Music: two guys sang cover song hits from the late 90s to now. They really tried to rally everyone. They were ok singers and would take singing breaks occasionally and then dj music for awhile. They were fun and entertaining.Vibes: Its a fun place! Good for celebrations, and a friends night out or date night.There were a few bday groups, then some girls who work there come out with sparks, lights, and signs to announce the bday. Theres bar length seating, a bunch of high tables, and about 7 couch areas. When we went I think all the tables had been reserved and there were still some bar seats open. “Updating my review since they re-opened since the pandemic (geez - took you long enough...we missed you!) Royal Tavern remains a delicious restaurant/bar that serves good food, good drinks, lots of vegan/veggie options, small plates, large plates, and just about something for everybody. Is the menu large? No. Is there always something delicious on there? Absolutely. My only problems with Royal Tavern are 1) it's really dark in there 2) it's small 3) it can get crowded/busy and they don't have the best way of handling a wait list and 4) they are being written up about in reviews/papers/etc. so the last 3 things make it even worse. Imagine a very small very dark bar with everybody trying to get in on a Friday night. I mean, good for them! I love this for them...just not for me. I just hope they don't become like other places where you can't just walk in and grab a good burger and a brew - but alas we might already be there. Long story short: Keep up the amazing work, Royal Tavern and everybody else...stay away so your girl can get a table! I'm hungry!“

The “crust” is very thick focaccia bread, which is a unique version of a pizza, and the sauce is kind of dolloped on - definitely not a standard pie. It feels more like a fancy and delish app that you’d share at restaurant rather than a pizza, but a good option none the less!“

“Visiting town for a few days and family recommended the diner. Food was spot on, fast, hot, and tasty. Our server Austin was quick and gave us just enough attention. My only comment was the noise in the place. We were trying to catch up with family, and the noise just kept us from hearing each other. Other than that, a place I’d certainly come back to for a drink or good meal.Update: We enjoyed last night so much, decided to come back tonight. What a difference between servers, appetizer came out with dinner even though she asked if we wanted it first, same drink tonight was twice the price, server wouldn’t close out the ticket so had to wait in line for 20 minutes, and finally wanted 4 cookies to go, cashier refused and I needed to purchase a full pound. Well no cookies, and server got no tip.“
