“Really delicious authentic tacos. Easy to miss this place as it is just in a small shopping strip. It's whole different level and nothing like the chain-type taco/burrito places that are everywhere. Meats seem really nicely marinated and each tastes different: lamb, short ribs, that kind of thing - quality. Lots of vegetarian options too (which you hardly ever see) like butternut, sauteed mushrooms, really good refried beans, marinated tofu. Highly recommend this place.“

Highly recommend the tonkatsu + ajitama add-on (marinated soft boiled egg) with spicy oil on the side so you can make it as hot as you want to. One of the best ramen I’ve had in NJ by far! The staff is awesome and our waiter was busy but always acknowledged us and attended to whatever we needed. Keep up the great food and service!!“
“Decided to order in some ramen tonight. 1st Uber eats is great, they are nice and quick. I ended up ordering chicken Karaage, Takoyaki, and Tori Paitan Ramen. The karaage and takoyaki were fantastic. They lost a bit of crispness to them. But that's expected, esp with take out. The flavor was there. The octopus was nice and the texture was great. Chicken had good flavor and was still moist and juicy. The Tori Paitan Ramen was an absolute delite! I didn't know what to expect. The broth was nice a creamy but also had a wonderful, deep porky flavor. I fell in love! I will most definitely visit this restaurant after tasting these dishes and invite anyone to go!“

“We were down at Rutgers and the Boy wanted a late lunch, but of course had no idea what he wanted...so I chose Shokudo. Having never been there before we kind of played it safe. We started with edamame and some steamed shumai. For our entrees Wifey and the boy each had rice bowls (one chicken one pork) and I had the Shoyu Ramen with chicken. The food here was very tasty and the servers were friendly and helpful. If I lived closer I'd definitely go here frequently...“

“Great food, service, and atmosphere. I ordered the roast duck noodles (spicy), and it was delicious. Definitely recommended getting it spicy. Great flavor, and you literally will drink the broth. It was so good. Service was great, order at the counter and they will bring the food to you if you dine in. While I was there, quite a few people were in and out, getting to go and take out meals. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the music is perfect. I will definitely be back.“
“I've come here abt 6 times so far and I've never had a bad food experience. I've had sushi from a lot of other AYCE, all you can eat, sushi places and I think this one is the best in terms of quality and variety. It's about $30 per person.The fish here tastes fresh and NOT watered down like other places I've been to. The miso soup always tastes good and fresh, it doesn't taste artificial and sweet like other places.The special rolls are a little questionable, there are a lot of special rolls that aren't my type and extremely filling but I like the sashimi and regular rolls. I love the salmon from here, so I always get salmon sashimi and Alaska rolls.They also have other foods available in their AYCE like shumai, sesame chicken, lo mein, and calamari, takoyaki, etc. Most of their non-sushi items are good too.ONE THING TO NOTE, if you come here with a party of 5 or more, you will be charged a 15% service fee. Coming here with 4 people or less is worth it when they all eat their money's worth.“
“My sister and I came in for lunch while it was pouring outside. We live far from here but happened to be in the area and were in the mode for soup. The food was absolutely amazing! We ordered Tori Pai Tan Ramen and also pork buns and tea. The ramen was the best I have eaten outside of Japan. Truly, it was so delicious! The pork bun was out of this world. My sis tried it first and told me to stop eating at try the pork bun because it was so yummy. She wasn't lying! The service was great even though we had a little difficulty communicating because of language barriers. It has been two week and I am still thinking about that delicious meal and already thinking of when I'll be in that area next!“
“Ordered the pork belly ramen and a sushi roll; the sushi was good to my taste (especially for the price), although I’m hardly a connoisseur.As for the ramen, I thought the noodles were decent, and the pork broth was extremely good. There weren’t a lot of extras—just chives, corn, and a soft boiled egg—but it was a really good sized portion for the price. The only real disappointment was that the soft boiled egg was in fact hard boiled, and the chasu seemed a little bland.“
“for New Brunswick, this is a solid bowl of Ramen. Order the black garlic and regular tonkosu. Good stuff and well seasoned. very generous with the toppings and vegetables. Both halves of the egg included. One thing I would mention is that the meat is really thin and could have use more meat to the order. But I guess thats just part of inflation ! Will be back!“
“Was there earlier the artwork around the store really was really nice. Food was pretty good so was the ramen only complaint was that the tea was a bit too strong/over steeped for my liking but overall everything was really nice.
