“Had the nicest server today. Food is always great. I was sad when chilis discontinued the Buffalo chicken salad. I realized for you get the Sante fe salad, ask for tenders not grilled, and a side of buffalo sauce, it's pretty much the same thingSo my pregnant self is happy“
“This was my first time here I enjoyed my time here my server’s name was vi she did a great job in making sure my experience delightfully and also had a great sense of humor would definitely come back and ask for the same serverParking: Parking was fine it was finding the place that was difficult but called and they helped“
“I recently visited Wood Stack & Pizza for the first time with a group of friends, and I must say, we were all impressed. The thin crust pizza was a definite standout, with most of us ordering it and loving every bite. The service was also top-notch, adding to the overall positive experience. We had a great time at Wood Stack & Pizza and would definitely recommend it to others looking for delicious pizza in a cozy atmosphere.“
“I gave it 4 stars because I got the all you can eat and the gratuities were already on the bill and I didn't notice until after I got home so I tipped extra. It would be nice if they told you 2 people are automatic gratuity or all you can eat is automatic gratuity. They might be doing this for one person in the union location for all I know!“
“I have to say this place is top-notch phenomenal ?. I was here with my family for my birthday and Jon was our server. To start we ordered the wings and Burrata as appetizers OMG delicious. For entrees, we ordered the Tomahawk for my husband and I with hand-cut fries and brussel sprouts and my daughter ordered the Boneless Ribeye with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Every single dish tasted like homemade. For dessert, we had the Tres leches and Tiramisu. Tres leches wasn't too sweet and Tiramisu was on point. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy a delicious steak.????? stars in my book ?“
“I have to say I really enjoy The Thirsty Turtle. Although it's a sports bar and you think it might just be cool to watch a game, the food and staff are excellent and professional. We went the other night and met friends for dinner and it was a fantastic experience! The waiter, (I don't remember his name), but he memorized our order and everything came out perfect! We had appetizers, burgers, beer & drinks, and enjoyed everything we ate and drank. I also have to call out Manny who went above and beyond in helping me. He is smart and knows how to treat customers. Any establishment should be lucky to have him!“
“Visiting from Seattle, WA, and Coniglio’s was absolutely amazing! Pablo and team took great care of our table of 10 and the pizzas we ordered were amazing! No doubt some of the best we’ve ever had and the desserts were excellent! Very much a family atmosphere here.. First class service and we will 100% be back here next time we are in town!“
“If you are an espresso martini lover like myself, you can't miss Stirling Tavern. I can't even count how many espresso martinis I have gotten here over the past couple of years I've visited the adorable Morristown. The bartenders are very consistent with the drink making and I have never had a bad drink here. The ambience in the bar area is very sophisticated and the seating in the front of the bar is the perfect spot. I've also tried some small plates too like the burger bites which I would like to be snacking on right now. The little sliders have goat cheese for a unique twist and really delicious sweet potato fries on the side. I've had both flatbreads too which are a good starter to share with friends and family.“
“very nice menu and the food is always delicious and well prepared. the service was extremely nice today as our appetizer was a bit later than usual so they gave us free appetizer on the house. it was such a wonderful way to be served by a friendly hospitable staff who made sure we had a great dining experience. I would highly recommend Trap Rock.“
“I was impressed with this restaurant, we enjoyed the food as well as the ambiance and service. I came for a business lunch. Ate inside the porch area that was enclosed. I thought the service was very good in terms of attentiveness. The food we got was flat bread pizza for appetizer, pepperoni with hot honey was delicious. The burger tasted great cooked perfectly when I ordered a medium, presentation was nice as I ordered a salad instead of French fries. Most importantly they had Aqua Pana for water. I did think the prices were a bit inflated and expensive however their service made up for it.“
“This place is fabulous. The food and service amazing - the atmosphere is gorgeous but on a Thursday evening had a number of very very very loud tables so it got hard to hear conversation at ours - but it is NJ so guess to be expected.Street parking or municipal lot only.“
“The overall feel and ambiance of this restaurant is definitely Korean-vibes. However, the cost of the food is beginning to really climb over these last handful of years. I have gone to this restaurant a bunch of times prior, and most especially prior to 2020. Yet, noticeably, the cost is rising. Ample parking, though. Quality well cooked/home-cooked Korean food and prompt service. Tasty!“
“This place has excellent food and amazing drinks to go along with its awesome atmosphere. It has 2 sides to the restaurant, a dining area, and an awesome bar area with TV's everywhere & tables where you can also sit and eat as well. It is like a Mini Hard Rock Cafe with a ton of classic rock & roll memorabilia & great music. Forgot to mention live music after dinner hours too. Great experience. We will go back there again for sure“
“Good food, nothing overly special but solid good bar foodConvenient locationQuick serviceThe sweet potato fries and the vampire tacos were the highlight in my eyesDefinitely recommend especially if you are in the area for a movie night to grab some food before/after“
“Since I was a kid I loved trains. I was fascinated with the machines, the rails, and the heavy equipment and how it made the land shake when it passed in front of my grandparents house.Being there brought sweet memories.Rails has a great infrastructureAn absolutely memorable experience.Food was great, and our waiter, Brian I think ? was his name, patiently walked us through the menu and the different options according to our preferences...“
“Wow this place. Total hidden gem. Stumbled across this place and so glad we did. Love the vibe and even better the drinks are out of this world. Fairly priced and well crafted. Great service. We visited twice in one night was so good. Pre dinner and post dinner!! We will be back.“
“The Carriage House Restaurant is literally steps from the PaperMill Playhouse. Great to stop in prior to a performance. The atmosphere is best described as "cozy and rustic". I've stopped in about 2-3 times for drinks and appetizers. The food has always been very tasty. Little on the pricey side. On a positive note, you're only a few steps away from the theater. As of now, I've had Chicken Sausage Appetizers and a Steak Quesadilla. Nice wine and cocktail list. We've enjoyed their wine and cocktails on a previous visit. In December '23, I had an issue making reservations. Left two telephone messages and never received a call back. I couldn't even make a reservation on Opentable or Resy. We stopped in and informed the hostess of the issue. Anyway, we ended up eating at the bar. The Carriage House Restaurant does offer Cabaret and Murder Mystery shows.“
“I've decided this is my go to bar to bring everyone when we meet up from family, friends, coworkers, day drinking etc. I like the theme nights, bingo, trivia, bands, etc. I want business to go well from them so they open with kitchen & its profitable all week. Foods amazing...good "no mess behaved" atmosphere. My go to place. Bartenders and everyone are nice.“
“Listen here I went to my niece 16 here and when I tell you I felt like it was the White House lol amazing place, clean and the people are well train to the fact I ask for water and 3 bottles by 3 different people came lol the manager is also very friendly and amazing and hope to have my daughter one here soon thank u“
“We eat here regularly. Always get seated promptly. Friendly host and servers. The food is fresh and hot. Traditional Irish fare and American standards. I do not drink, but friends say the beer selection is fine. I definitely recommend this restaurant.Parking: Street parking on Denville Bloomfield Avenue is sometimes challenging. If you park on Main Street, behind the restaurant, use the rear entrance.“
“We recently had my daughter’s baby shower at the Mediterranean Grill, and honestly we could not be happier with everything! The place is elegant, light, and absolutely beautiful! Tom, the manager, was professional from start to finish and thorough with every detail. He was very flexible with the time of the shower, the menu, and even the personalised theme cake. The food quality and food options were great-especially the penne vodka! The staff could not have been more attentive, and the entire event ran effortless and care free, allowing us to enjoy our daughter’s shower. Many of our guests commented just how much they enjoyed the place and the food. I can’t wait to visit again for dinner! I highly recommend The Mediterranean Grill for an event or for dinner!“
“I like Maggie’s now. They’ve updated the menu. I got the ginger sesame orange salad it was delicious. Next time I won’t get shrimp on it because it was too big. I thought it would be popcorn shrimp. I do like the option of adding protein like chicken. The place is always packed and very loud though. Don’t get the fish and chips, not great. Probably better for takeout.Dietary restrictions: They make changes to your order if you request it.“
“I’ve been to a lot of pubs on the east coast, but this one is special. Authentic pieces of Ireland inside and the atmosphere puts you setting in a pub in Dublin.Great place and staff. Food was fresh and served proper. We had the Rusty Irishman drink “ like an old fashioned” and came back a second day to enjoy another round. Great place to rest up and enjoy the east coast before headed into the city. I would recommend a stop and rest over.“
“We first went there for my fiancee's birthday and we all loved the food and the service. So when we were looking at places to have our wedding reception, this was the first place we thought of. It turned out great! Owners and staff were amazing, so helpful and accommodating! All of our guests loved the food and ambiance. They nailed it! Than you!“
“Got there early on a Sunday with my wife and 2 small kids. We had then porterhouse for 2, garlic mash, broccoli rob, penne vodka w shrimp, and the lasagna. I wanted to love the place, but they fell short on the flavor of the food. We all liked our meal, but all agreed it fell short on the seasoning. They were just opening, so it's possible they gave us mash and lasagna from the day before and it was good but wasn't great. I do plan on going back to give it another go. The service was great and the dining room comfy. Not a bad experience. Worth a meal to try them out.“
“Good was great! I had the sweet potato nachos. Different than anything I have had before but I'll be coming here again on my next travel through Newark. Thank you to Elma who provided the best service! She made sure I had quick service and enjoyed my meal!“
“Tuesday is karaoke night. The bar is happening but not busy, the music is on but not unmanageable, and the drinks are good. I really enjoyed my time, and the drinks, and the service. I'll only knock the fact that the menu doesn't display prices and the "not IPA craft selection" is pretty bad. Which I know is a tall ask but for 20+ beers is a little bit disappointing.I would totally go back.“
“Friendly service, nice wine selection and amazing food sums up our experience. I have eaten here once before a while back and I remember liking the food, but our meal was truly delicious! We will be back more. Some favorites included the calamari, meatballs, veal Milanese and pasta with short ribs.“
“There's good bartender service. Nice vibe, nice music. The cost of drinks is fair. They're fed. This place appeals to me. Everyone is checked for your safety, including the security personnel, front and back bars, Djs on deck, sports on TV, and ATH. There are hookers on deck and a pleasant vibe.“
“I have 1M on tik tok was there 2-3-24 at 8 pm told manger lady I was blown away said (@grandpaMagic1) told her I was going upload a video to my followers Promote this place and ask folks to meet me there Monday nights for February 2024. Was by $44 bill torn in half ( what’s an extra 25-50 people on a Monday worth ?) no, it was not // FABULOUS $29 rib eye staff 20 stars gonna promote this place possibly gotta see — manager lady needs a lesson on value of social reach to 50,000 locals at a cost of a $29 steak // duh-/ wait, new idea gimme $500 I’ll make two video promos on this joint not one — tried to me nice ❤️❤️❤️ 3 month contract $1,500 paid up front DM ME — I live up on skyline drive morristown — only 1 block from the green so instead of paying $55 to $75 it’s only $29 and is truly fabulous -/ 4 large stars not 5 because TV certainly doesn’t need to be even on with the cool music -/ even their music was good // portions I saw around me big enough for Hulk Hogan and the $18 CALIMARI - I hear is a crazy good I’m joe schroeder IG: @25CashMagnet“
“My manbun chum and I have been trying to find a home to watch our one March Madness game every year, and I think we found it for the foreseeable future. In fact, this time it looks to be a literal home.We stopped by last night to watch my beloved Gonzaga Bulldogs end their tournament run against Purdue. I could go into quite a bit of detail about some very shady calls in the paint and what I think should have been a taunting foul on Purdue's future proctologist Fletcher Loyer, but I digress. As soon as I walked in, I could tell I was going to like it. Prior years have been marred by loud sports bar atmospheres where you have to battle tooth and nail to convince someone to change the channel to something that isn't a mediocre NYC-area sports team (I say this as a Mets fan as well). Liberty was significantly quieter, definitely had an older crowd but also had numerous TVs throughout. The best of all worlds. I walked maybe 10 feet from the entrance, asked the bartender if she could switch the TV to the Zags on TBS, and that was that. Aside from a weird moment in the second half when the TV mysteriously changed to ESPN for a few minutes (we never confirmed the culprit), we had primo viewing of the game. Somehow we also managed to sit down next to a couple whose son was currently at Purdue. What a world.Vibe is everything with a place like this. I did a mild double-take when I realized the bar was located in a literal residential neighborhood in what may be someone's actual house (or at least upstairs). There's a parking lot on the side that had plenty of spots, and overall this was one of the most conveniently located establishments I've ever been to - it's about 30 seconds from Route 78 both ways. Initially I felt bad for the neighbors, but as bars go this is not exactly one that's going to be hosting raucous throwdowns outside or anything. You may actually be able to go to bed at 9pm living next door, which is my personal dream. The interior has a lot of tchotchkes behind the bar, and is surprisingly comfortable/spacious. The game started a little after 7:30pm on a Friday, but there were seats available right in front of the TVs and most of the patrons seemed to be in the back area playing pool. It did get a little more crowded throughout the game, but never to a point where it felt claustrophobic. The clientele demo skewed all over the place - several older codgers looked like they'd been rejected from Rock of Love Charm School (I thought one in particular was a dead ringer for Poison's CC DeVille), but there was also a few young men roaming around and middle-aged couples/singles throughout the establishment as well. Pretty much anyone who would theoretically come into a bar, did.We had a good bartender, who not only accommodated my TV request, but was friendly and accessible throughout our stay. I was in a sweet palate mood, and she offered to make a Hawaiian Volcano, apparently a drink pilfered from her days at TGI Friday's years ago. It's not something I'd necessarily get on a regular basis, but it definitely brought me back to my early legal drinking years for sure. I could taste some Malibu and juice, and sipped them throughout the game. We also got mozzy sticks and a pepperoni bar pie. Both were really decent for what they were, especially the mozzy sticks, which were fried perfectly. I thought the pizza tasted like a giant Bagel Bite, which is not an insult. But let's be clear - this is a dive bar, so it's not like you're wandering into the kitchen and stumbling across Jeremy Allen White from The Bear. You want something fairly tasty to munch on, and we got it.Strong recommend. I think expectations for a dive bar should be pretty simple - comfortable and pleasant. This was certainly that, minus the March Madness heartbreak.“
“The service is top notch, the food was spot on, and the place is your typical Jersey restaurant. The staff are all friendly and the host Gail is amazing. We happen to be here on a Saturday evening, and they were having an even in the bar area so after dinner we headed there and partied out until 1:30 in the morning. Great place!! Luckily, we had a room in the adjacent Best Western. Love this Best Western because it is convenient, and they have room service from this restaurant.“
“Visited TOG to see the band Cold Hill (who were EXCELLENT). This is a smaller Irish bar/pub with a wonderful relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Bar tenders were great, friendly and pleasant. The bar is divided down the center, bar and open area, by a half wall with large opening so you are able to enjoy the band while at the bar or stand/sit in the open area. Music wasn't too loud, still able to talk with friends. Prices were good and I would really love to visit this place again ☘️Parking: We used public parking down behind the Morristown Diner. Just a couple of mins walk to TOG.“
“As always bad with names but our server was wonderful! Haven’t been there in few years but it was though I never left! Myself and my 2 boys went for dinner and it was delicious our server did an excellent job and the food was amazing as always! Thank you for a wonderful “
“The Office consistently makes some of the best pub food in Morristown. In addition to their higher end pub grub, they always have a strong draft lineup. Their beer lines are always a decent mix of macro, various regional heavy weights, and several local brewery beers. The crusty garlic bread burger is certainly unique in the town, and it is usually my go-to favorite here. Combine that with a refreshing local beer and you have an awesome, reasonably priced dinner in Morristown. This trip was restaurant week featuring three different sliders and a flight of local beers, so we opted for the special which did not disappoint.“
“This review was supposed to be done back in October of 2023....we had our daughter's first birthday here and it was a great experience! Cynthia helped us every step of the way and made herself available for any questions or concerns we had. The food was delicious and the service was great. We had more than enough room for our guests and they enjoyed the food. I'd recommend Stage House for your next event!“
“Wonderful place ❤️We did not make a reservationAnd they welcomed us very friendly ?they gave us the good drink playing the drum they have when we entered they directed us to the table We were served by a waiter ??♂️very friendly with a lot of patience ❤️ the chef ???❤️was very kind and an excellent chef He spoke to us in our Spanish language and cooked very delicious ?? ???? he was very kind ❤️? If God allows it, I will see that restaurant ..“
“I found this gem on Yelp, and am so glad I did. Had a burger fries and fresh made chicken soup... out of this world!!! Everything perfectly and correctly made the bun for the burger fantastic, how often do you say that. The decor, reminiscent of your quintessential "hole in the wall" taverns...love it!!“
“We visited The West Essex Diner on a bustling Sunday morning, arriving around noon. Despite the crowd, we were seated within a brief 10-minute wait, which was understandable given the rush. However, the dining experience left much to be desired. I ordered a classic breakfast featuring sunny-side-up eggs with a side of steak and home fries, accompanied by toast and coffee. My friend opted for a western omelet paired with French toast. Disappointingly, the French toast lacked powdered sugar, and despite requesting jelly, our waiter seemed to disappear. The food, unfortunately, was rather lackluster, lacking any distinctive flavor or appeal. While the service was initially prompt, our waiter was notably absent after serving our meals, only reappearing when we requested the check. It was then that he offered more coffee, but by that point, I was already ready to leave. Overall, the experience felt ordinary, and the food failed to surpass what I could have easily prepared at home with more flavor.“
“Best Kettle One Extra Dirty Martini's ever with the most delicious olives. The potato skins, bourbon honey Buffalo wings, fresh guacamole, French onion soup and salads are fabulous. Been here several times and never disappointed. Arrive before 5:30 as it's always busy. The servers and managers are caring, diligent and very accommodating even during busy dining hours they do their best and hustle. It's become a favorite place to go with friends.“
“Very good food. Service was good too. Ambience and decor is routine, standard place. We went with work groups for a team dinner. Food was really good.Vegetarian options: Few vegetarian items available on the menu.Wheelchair accessibility: Has wheelchair accessible entrance. However some seating sections inside are in a raised platform.“
“Adam’s Beer Garden is a secret gem! I’ve driven passed this a thousand times. There is more then enough room to watch all the games. Spread out at this bar there is a bunch of things to do. Play pool, play the lottery, I believe they have a dart board! Go outside where there is even more endless space and challenge someone to foos ball. Before you go outside grab a cigar from their humidor. Then just chill out there in front of a big screen and watch your team win a game. They have a okay selection of cigars to choose from. The cigars are reasonably priced. Lots of beer on tap. We ordered a pitcher you should too! Cash only! Don’t think they sell food.Parking: I parked along the railroad tracks.“
“Our server davie was awesome- my son has a few allergies (dairy, egg, and nut) and made sure all of the food we ordered was safe for him to eat. We really appreciated it, especially that he checked up on us asking if he was safe once the food came out. Little things like that I’ve really come to appreciate at restaurants and make our experience so much better. Definitely adding Nom to the list of restaurants to visit again. Thanks!Dietary restrictions: My son has a dairy egg and peanut allergy“
“Last night my wife and I went to have dinner. The food was absolutley delicious, and the service was outstanding. The prices were extremely reasonable, considering the quality of the food. This is a hidden Gem. Nice cozy and quiet atmosphere. Small place but spaced out enough where you are not on top of the other guests. Shawn and Nicole have done an excellent job. We'll be back!Parking: Parking across the street.“
“Great Family Restaurant and Sports Bar. Italian and American Fare. Delicious Specials.Seats Large parties. Plenty of free parking.Hot Fresh bread with genuine Italian red dipping marinara. Yum.Thin Crust Burrata and Prosciutto Pizza with toasted Basil is a favorite.“
“Food is always good to excellent. Good hard working regulars always say hello; many have become good friends. The Portuguese " Cheers" kind of sums it up. Karokee on a Friday or Saturday brings a mix of music from people who just love to sing and to be around good people.“
“We joined some family* here for lunch today. The bldg and the grounds were lovely looking. The inside has both banquet rooms for private events as well as a family feel bar and dining area. We were seated right away and the server was very prompt and friendly. Menu although not that large had a good variety. From appetizers and soups to full on entrees there was plenty to choose from. They had several specials to offer today. They are known for the burgers apparently. My aunt and husband both had the Swiss Mountain Burger. Both enjoyed them. Although the cooking between them was a bit different. My husband's was a bit pink IMO but he likes rare so didn't really care. My daughter enjoyed the penne and meatballs from the dedicated kids menu. It came with a drink and dessert. The portion was hearty and she loved the meatball! Dinner rolls on the table were amazing. Mini chibatta style that were crusty in the outside and soft and chewy in the inside. My uncle had the chicken cashew salad. Large salad although looked like only iceberg as the base. Overall filled with plenty of toppings. I enjoyed one of the salmon specials for today. I chose the grilled lemon pepper salmon. All entrees like this are served with either rice or potato and veggies. I had mashed which were very creamy and flavorful. The salmon had good flavor but IMO was cooked just a little too long. It was flaky but the edges seemed a little dry. Overall I'd recommend it but suggest asking for a medium cook. They offered a dessert menu although everyone was full and decided on just some specialty coffee. Most dishes were in the $15-25 range. Overall I'd recommend giving it a try. *Sorry for the lack of pics we were so excited to see our out of town family that I totally forgot!“
“Nice bar/tavern with good food and a ton of tap beer options. They have a bunch of specialty fry options as well to include salt and vinegar, parm, truffle and more. Service is fast and friendly. They do take reservations so I highly recommend doing that if not, prepare to “
“This place is awesome! Plenty of assorted appetizers to please all. Had the pierogi with kielbasa very satisfying and then the wings which were not batter dipped but with a spicy rub and those were delicious, crispy and yet juicy inside! Service is on point! Atmosphere very friendly and very local Sinagac crowd! Definitely a repeat!“
“This is a long overdue review, which I feel needs to be written about considering the long year I had in 2023. Anyway, I’ve been coming to this E Hanover location of the Office, since it first opened. I’ve met many servers and managers etc. However, it wasn’t until last year in October, that I absolutely started to realize how important it really is to come to a place, where the atmosphere, management, staff; the business of the place accompanied with efficiency/ambience was of importance.Samantha, who at the time was my server, and is now the restaurant manager of the place, changed my mind completely about coming here. I had an extremely rough night, and with Samantha greeting me, I could feel her genuineness. Samantha, made me feel extremely comfortable right away, with a very professional, yet warm approach. She asked what type of drink I wanted at the time, and could feel the authenticity behind her presence, and kind demeanor. She could see how much I really needed comforting at the time and without hesitation, engaged in conversations, and immediately connected right away. Fast forward to now, Sam has become one of my closest friends, and to this day will forever be grateful for the time and energy, she poured into allowing me to vent; experiencing something very difficult at the time of our meet. I cannot stress enough how fortunate I am, to have formed such a wonderful friendship, under the circumstances. She of all people, deserves this type of recognition, considering how much she truly loves ensuring a wonderful experience for customers, and ensures utmost professionalism from her staff. They are such an amazing team altogether!I absolutely love coming here!Samantha and staff are truly one of a kind!Thank you all for your constant efforts!?“
