“The food here was amazing we ordered the mar & mar with the special grilled fish special. The for the mar & mar 2 sides can be chosen but for the special it comes with rice and soup. Marjorie our server and she was very helpful with suggestions (we needed up getting the mango and guanabana smoothie). We will come here again especially for the daily special and the attentiveness.There was a hair on my fish, I didn’t mention it to the server tho.“

“Don't sleep on visiting Fava. The food here is amazing! We had a trio of spreads and the lamb empanadas and both were incredible. But the best part of our lunch were the cocktails. The Fava margarita is a delightful play on a Caribbean margarita and the spritzes were fabulous. The cucumber one is like springtime in a glass! I'd drive up from Philly just to eat here!“

“Do NOT go to this restaurant unless you are very hungry and want great service ?. They serve huge portions and lots of sides that are on the house. Including churros at dessert! It is a fancier restaurant and the dress code is casual to business casual. The servers and staff are at your attention constantly. “It was my first time at a tapas bar and it couldn’t have been better. The upstairs dining room was really comfortable and felt homelike. Service was friendly and attention to detail was definitely practiced. The food was great. The best calamari I’ve experienced it wasn’t rubber like by any means. The lamb chops were very juicy and had a great sauce on them. Additionally the sangria was good. A pitcher goes a long way for two people. We would both strongly encourage visiting Beso.“
“Back in Spain is how I felt being here. The grilled octopus dish were the same as what we had in Spain, soft and chewy like marshmallows. I didn't think we had the right octopus species in the US but they have it. Iberico jamon were just a few slices but definitely imported. Most importantly, the owner appreciates your business, which for any packed place like this one, is precious.“

The spread is very well flavored, with a tiny bit of a kick. I would guess it’s tomatoes, olive oil, fresh pepper, fresh garlic, & a touch of salt. The ham & cheese croquetas are delicious & creamy. The tortilla española is flavorful & comes with a little bit of greens, but I drizzled the tomato spread over it for a bit more flavor. The crema catalana was delicious. The food is amazing, the sangria is not watered down and the service is exceptional!The most recent visit was to celebrate a group of birthdays. They gave us one of the rooms which fit about 25 of us. Even though we were separated from main dining room, servers were still very attentive. The portions are larger so they are shareable. I had skirt steak that came with veggies and mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked exactly as ordered. We brought our own cakes and they sliced and served for us. We never felt rushed and stayed for over 3 hours. We got there at 3pm on a Sunday so it wasn't too crowded. I will continue coming and highly recommend!“

“As a patron of the Tenafly location, I wanted to try the Montclair locale. Parking isn't great around there but we managed. The cocktails were good. There was a grilled octopus plate served with a salad as an appetizer and it was delicious! Most of the entrees were seasoned okay but nothing stood out. One of our 5 dishes came out wrong but corrected within 5 minutes. The original dish was meant for another table and we got the correct plate quickly. Noise level was normal for a Friday night. Very nice ambiance - decor wise. Would return.“

“It's so hard to find a good , authentic Ecuadorian place and I finally found one ! The service was great and the food was even better. I had a ceviche de camaron to share with my husband and it wasn't what I typically see , it was done a little differently than what I'm accustomed to but it was delicious . I got the seco de chivo as my entree and it was so flavorful , it took me back to when I lived in Ecuador so authentic. Overall 10/10. “Mannys is a family owned and operated restaurant so the atmosphere is very friendly and everyone seems to know each other!! They make u feel welcomed and appreciated which is hard to find nowadays. My favorite dish is the stewed chicken w/veggie rice. The small take out box is only $7 but can easily feed 2. The large is (I believe) $9, and both come with a handful of yummy plantanos. The chicken literally melts in ur mouth and they use just the right amount of seasoning so its not too spicy for those of us who don't like spicy food!! I left a surgery and decided to go to lunch with my friend to eat since we both didn’t eat… the place was busy but there was enough staff too help with the whole place. When I tell you we sat down with soda and waited about an hour for our food and ir was ICE COLD .. mind you.. the food is ready in heated pans. I asked for warmer food she took the food and NEVER brought it back I was sitting there watching my friend eat . We asked for 2 empanadas and the empanadas were hard and definitely not fresh they were so disgusting. We ALWAYS come here this was such horrible service and we will not be coming back. I should of took a picture of how hard and old the empanadas were. We were starving and ate them anyway. Again out of surgery starving. Unbelievable seriously“

She ordered a cold peanut buttercup latte and I chose the hot Nutella Latte option. Both drinks were made to order and tasted very rich in their flavors. The cost was alittle over $12 for the two drinks but that seems fair given the competition prices.
