“The buffalo popcorn chicken poppers were delicious - though I'm not sure I'd call the sauce buffalo, it's more like a sweet and sour. The staff were helpful and patient, though the order retrieval system is far from ideal. Someone actually claimed my order before I could and no receipts were checked, so they got a free meal while I had to wait for it to be remade. More structure to the pickup would be a huge improvement, but having such a solid kosher option at the mall is great!“
“A+ ok hear me out, perfect spot after Central Park. Make reservations or do the food delivery/to go. We dined in and what an experience. Upper west side Manhattan dining experience for great price. We had too much food so had some to go and had a late night snack! Chicken wings weren't soggy, Mac and cheese were great! I'd say the chicken strip, chicken wings, and Kim chee fried rice were a good choice. Kids (4,7,9) loved the wings and Mac&cheese.Once we got back to our hotel(NJ), the wings were still good !!! BTW the wings aren't small, great size!!So that's why I say if you show up and it's full, take it home! Servers were great and cooks were great. Bussers worked their buttons off!!! I'd sat 5 star dine in or to go!“
“Solid, well-seasoned, tender, and juicy fried chicken. I’ve heard about how spicy the fried chicken is, so I got scared and ordered the lowest spice level. I’m happy to report it had zero spiciness. If you like a little bit of heat, you should order the second lowest spice level.“
“Straight up the juiciest, most tender chicken I've had in my life. I've never seen chicken so tender that it just falls off the bone like this one did.I got the Dark Meat combo with scallion pancake as my included side and the portion was decent and reasonably priced. This was way beyond my expectations and I'll definitely be back!“
“Dear Future Self: The extra hot level, the one just below reaper, is as far as you should go. You’re welcome.Service here is standard NYC indifference. They’re fast though, winner. This chicken is as spicy/hot as Hatty B’s. Well seasoned. Crispier than a mug. Needs extra pickles, doughboy. The potato bun, there is no substitute. It’s better than Popeyes spicy chicken sandwich. It saddens me to say that.Cons: seating sucks. Be prepared to take with.Pro tip: don’t forget to grab extra napkins and honey. This just might be a destination.“
“One of my favorite cheap eats in Manhattan. I cannot explain how much I love this place. You go up to the counter to order and the food is ready within 5 minutes and served directly to your small table. And even though the restaurant itself is tiny, there always seems to be an open seat as people eat and leave very quickly. I ordered the Fried Chicken Rice and it was delicious!! Although there isn't a lot of chicken, the fried bits are fried to perfection as it isn't too oily and full of flavor. I especially liked dipping it into the sour and spicy sauce which elevated the chicken. The rice is also to die for as it is seeped with chicken broth, you can just eat this alone without anything else. Also, the soup is incredible as I love how much white pepper they put into the broth, the flavors are so incredibly intense. I love ME Chicken Rice. Probably top 10 favorite eats in NYC!“
“Discover a culinary gem at Gai kitchen in Chinatown inside the Mott Street Eatery. Their Hainanese and Thai style chicken is so tender , juicy and flavorful - all at an affordable price. Don’t miss their enticing appetizers, including fish cakes , chive pancakes, chicken wings and more. Stop by for a delicious and budget friendly experience that will leave you craving more.“
“I've been to some other locations and always enjoyed the food. This location is conveniently located on Rte 17 inside HMart. The staff was really nice and remembered me from our brief phone call.We came by to get some wings on Veteran's Day for the 25% off deal. We got 2 flavors we had not tried yet - gangnam style and galbi, both were really flavorful and different than the standard soy garlic and spicy flavors. The galbi has a smokey taste and gangnam is sweet and spicy. I also love their sweet radish as a palate cleanser. Very good Korean fried chicken!“
“This was a wonderful experience, the manager was very welcoming, friendly and professional. He gave me some personal life advice which really resonated with me; so thank you for that! Overall it was a fun, unforgettable memory. Definitely recommend this place. It’s clean, spacious and comfortable, and best of all the service is amazing! I look forward to coming back here in the future :)“
“We were randomly in the area running some errands and we found this little gem! We stopped by for a late lunch. We got the Bulgogi kimbap, fried chicken, and the royal rice cakes. Our little one appreciated the Dino nuggies. Haha Everything was delish. We'll be back!“
“I had the pleasure of stopping in here yesterday for lunch. I have to say it was a good choice to go check out. The chicken was crispy and super flavorful. I got the sweet chili chick'n pop combo. The garlic Aioli i got extra for dipping my friends into. Absolutely loved this spot, and I hope to get to visit it again in the future.“
“I tried it for the first time with my friend, and atmosphere was good. We tried 3 combinations chicken was so delicious. Also orange juice is so fresh and sausage & rice cake was awesome!! It became my favorite chicken restaurant ? Eating chicken was good enough to be healing.“
“A+ spot, down from food to drinks to service. Anyone that says otherwise, doesn’t appreciate valuable spots like this in Jersey.I mean.. 6 of us had an amazing time here.I’d go back in a heartbeat & cannot wait to revisit.Absolutely a gem. Just downside would be parking in Fort Lee but that’s Fort Lee ? I found parking without difficulty luckily ??“
“We moved from Fort Lee to Carlstadt area a year ago and struggled to find good Korean Fried Chicken nearby. Tried this today and it’s delicious! Family owned and very authentic to me. It came with a large serving of Coleslaw for my 20 pcs wing order. Crispy and saucy but doesn’t feel greasy. We will definitely be coming back whenever we want KFC!“
“Came here because while I was in Vegas, I was obsessed with Dave’s Chicken. I mean, it was just so good and the price was even better.I am happy to know that a Dave’s Hot Chicken is around the corner from my house now.Came with my husband and the food was pretty much the same. I will do say that the sliders need more Cole Slaw in them!!!Mac and cheese is really good so I very much recomend it. The fries are a must have and must try. The sliders come with Dave’s sauce, a big piece of crispy chicken, pickles and Cole slaw. Btw they’re Cole slaw is reallllly good. Not many places know how to do it.Staff is super friendly and they do keep the place clean, even though the people that come it, should be more careful with what they throw on the floor. The ambiance is very cool! I would come back for sure!Make sure you guys add some bar stools!!!Parking: Hard to find parking because it’s locationKid-friendliness: Great to bring kids!Wheelchair accessibility: Push door with a tiny step“
“The chicken is hit or miss, which for a rotisserie takeout place is not really acceptable. The sides are always really good, but the real gem here is the gyro and seasoned fries. The service is awful though. Guy at the counter had no greeting, just played on his phone. Didn't use gloves when he handled my food (people use their phones while on the toilette so would been nice to use gloves or wash hands). He didn't say thank you, just handed it to me in cold silence. My advice would be to hire someone who can at least pretend that they want to be there and act like they appreciate your business. With so many great take out places around, this one is unfortunately an easy pass for now on.*** UPDATE *** Excellent management. Clearly strives to fix flaws and makes things right. Employee referred to was trained. Most companies would never take any action, so very impressive. Also, company website offers 10% discount on all orders. Never realized this!“
“It was our first visit and it was amazing. So delicious and at the same time I guess it’s healthy as well. We ordered roast chicken and salmon- both just perfect as well as sides. Definitely get back! Worst to go and price very reasonable.“
“Best Chic-fil-A served here and did not meet its taste in any other locations. One who reaches NewYork city by Penn Station this is the best and nearest place to grab a bite. We opted Spicy Chicken Sandwich and potato fries. Even though queues are lengthy, service is fast. Washrooms are decently maintained. Its closed on Sundays.“
“I don’t ever leave reviews, but the owners deserve it. I was visiting from Toronto when I came across them and like many of the reviews said you will not find sandwiches as good as this place even after trying so many different places around the globe.“
“Owner was so kind and giving. We walk in and he takes our order quick. The food comes and we eat and it was very good. Owner was so nice and he quickly gave us free radish and a whole free platter of fries. Both were very good. He then graciously gave us free water. Amazing.“
“The guys working here run it like their own family restaurant. Really nice, clean - great service, pride in their food. The food itself is excellent. No joke, the Extra Hot is nuts. I didn't do their "Reaper" apparently you need to sign a waiver! Highly recommend, great quality! To the homie who helped my daughter and I out yesterday (March 14th), thank you! ?Kid-friendliness: Friendly staff, helped me clean up etc.“
“Couldn’t give it five stars fast enough! The guy asked if it was my first time eating there. When o responded yes, he immediately gave me a sample of the chicken and started telling me his favorites. I ordered and when my food was up, he packed extra sauces and gave me tips on how to combine the flavors. It’s SOOD good. Cannot wait to go back!“
“I had seen Lauren's check when they had a front on 23rd or 24th in NYC but never visited. On my way back from Orange County I saw this location on route 17 and decided to try. Chicken fry of Korean style. Good is well good and priced comparable to other fast food chains.“
“We got a buffalo and blue cheese chicken cone with salted fries. Which banged! Right amount of spice and tender chicken mixed with the sweetness of the waffle cone was a great combo. The guy let us try some of the chicken to see if the sauce spiciness was good - great customer service. Defo one to try if you are in New York!! ?“
“One of my go-to places for chicken in Palisades Park. Food is delicious, we always get the Onion Chicken, which is perfect to share with 2-3 people and supplement with something else like bu dae jigae. We went with a group of 4 and had to wait about 15 minutes around 6:30pm to get a table, but it went by quick. Staff was friendly and place is clean and fun decor. Like everywhere in Palisades park, street paid parking is limited but there is free parking in the neighborhood streets if you want to walk further. One of my favorite places to eat at in Palisades Park, can't wait to come back!“
“I visited this place with family. We ordered a Nashville sandwich, the new Anda Wala Burger ( an egg burger ), and found it really good. The Nashville was also really good but a little too oily for my liking. We also ordered tenders. They were good, just your average tenders. Nothing special. Oh, and instead of coke, we ordered some of their 'Mexican Cola', which had way more basic ingredients and really just tasted better!“
“The restaurant provides excellent service with attentive staff, offering a diverse menu that caters to various tastes. The food is consistently flavorful, well-presented, and showcases quality ingredients. The ambient environment enhances the overall dining experience, creating a pleasant atmosphere for patrons.“
“This place is amazing - can’t believe we’ve been in NYC and this is our first visit. Chicken and waffles were the best I’ve had, our server Will was chill and super attentive, can’t recommend it enough. Love the neighborhood hood, too.Kid-friendliness: Our 10 y o is obsessed!“
“Social media guided me here and I will say the reviews here are pretty much spot on. Great price, great care for packaging and fantastic hot chicken.I believe this used to be a Korean fried chicken place that rebranded. This is a good thing. I phoned in my order as with most places that fry on the spot; they need 20 minutes.Got the Jerry's hot chicken A1($9.99), and W1(Originally 3 piece but this changed to 6 piece wings, also $9.99). I see why the number of wings changed, it was originally 3 whole wings but has changed to 6 wings that are drum and flats. Both came with fries, they seem handcut but not really crispy. Still pretty good.Reading over the reviews I went with extra hot on both orders, it's got a good kick but not unbearable. I would say if you order two things, get it done hot one way and extra hot the other. The sandwich was as expected, fantastic with the jerry's sauce and massive. The wings have a nice texture and would seem to be a bit on the saltier side. I'm ok with that but I think the order would be perfect if they gave a side of the jerry's sauce to dunk the wings with.Parking is across the street and there is no place to eat there, it's pretty much a takeout only spot. Final verdict, this place is solid, give this mom and pop spot a try!“
“Best fried chicken in the area, by a large margin. Cozy little family owned spot that’s been there forever. I work right down the street and I order my lunch there, and it’s hot and ready in 10 minutes. Friendly people, and exceptional home made fried chicken. The owner and his wife are very friendly and are in the restaurant all the time. You always appreciate seeing hands on management by the ownership. You know their values extend to each and every person served. My only regret is that I have to find somewhere else to eat lunch on Tuesdays ?? if you live in the area or work in the area near Broadway in Fair Lawn NJ, and like some good chicken, you MUST try Chicken Galore.Parking: Parking is more than sufficient given the size of the location. Usually there’s at least one or two spots to run in and grab my takeout. If not, there’s a residential street perpendicular to the building with plenty of parking.“
“For me this location is so much more convenient than the east village outlet. The food is amazing as expected, they have reduced the spice levels of the Rowdy sandwiches, however added more items to the menu and alcoholic beverages. At last my vegetarian friends can come with me for the delicious Paneer Tikka, instead of just the Vada Pav option. Kudos to the team and all the best for this new place :)“
“Great Chick-fil-A! The staff add super nice and the food is always top notch. Sometimes the app underestimates how long it will take for the order to be ready so just be prepared for that. I’m usually in a hurry when I’m in there and the staff are very helpful and understanding which I really appreciate :)“
“I've been ordering from this location for months since they opened, their chicken is crisp on the outside, so juicy on the inside and the seasoning consistantly surpasses any other chicken I've had. I've shared it with friends and colleagues. Today I experienced something even better. I placed a delivery order at work and when I got home to have this wonderful meal, my order was wrong, I like dark meat, they sent me white. I went on their website and left a complaint of my disappointment no less than 10 minutes, the store manager, Alexis called me to apologize and asked how could he fix this for me. That's what I call excellent customer service. I will wait to see if he follows through, but the call made my day. Thank you, Alexis!“
“This is some good ole southern food?! Fried chicken 20 stars!!! I’ve been to this place 3 times already, I always get the veggie plate, which is 4 sides. I get greens, cabbage, black eye peas, & pot salad or string beans. Now normally I don’t get nobody’s pot salad because since our generational grandmothers have all passed away , no one can do it right ?…. But baby pan fried did ?.. I was impressed?. Somebody over 40 made that pot salad ?. The only thing I haven’t taste , was the Mac n cheese ( my heartburn be killing me ) I can’t do all those cheese at this age & the yams. The honey they use to put on the chicken is good ( I had mines on the side ) & the cheesecake is good good good !!!?. The staff is really friendly, from the front to the back. Very nice black owned business ❣️“
“This place is so good. Awesome staff serving up delicious chicken with all sorts of complementary sides. Overall a fancier plate of awesome food than I was expecting! Plenty of bar seating and good beer available. I'd eat here every week if I lived nearby.“
“I have been dying to try this place for a long time and glad I did. Service was nice places clean food was surprisingly really good the next time I was told to try the spaghetti as a side dish. The chicken was cooked very well I rate it up there better than Popeyes and way better than KFC. Too bad that's not many of them around at least that I noticed but if you're near one try it it's well worth the visit.“
“My wife and I went in for a quick breakfast sandwich (Bacon, egg and cheese, coffee, and a natural juice - tamarindo) and everything tasted amazing. The staff is very friendly and even customize the sandwiches for us. We would definitely go back and recommend as well ?“
“I was working in Montclair, and I asked someone who worked at the building I was at if there were any good lunch spots around. Roosters was highly recommended. I was not disappointed the chicken and fries were so flavorful and delicious. Highly recommend Roosters to anyone who wants great comfort “
“This is my first time and I did a right choice.Good place for a balanced nutrition lunch. My dish is Mo’miso. It’s so good. It comes with 6 huge slices of chicken. The chicken is soft and tender yet well seasoned. Overall taste is sour&salty which I loved. I can have a good source of enough protein, complex carbohydrates from brown rice, good fat from avocado and decent amounts of veggies. Love love love“
“This is my go to (and my son’s) all the time. My absolute favorite are the shrimp buns. My son gets the shrimp buns and the beef bulgogi is his main course. I sometime splurge and get the 3+2 garlic and soy sauce flavored wings and drumsticks. What I love is both freshness, taste and consistency. It’s a husband and wife small business so also love being able to help our local economy. It sure helps they’re so pleasant. Their prices and portions are above average compared to similar businesses. Definitely recommend. I wish they had longer hours!!!“
“Was on our to-do list courtesy of our son who wanted to try it. We're not from the US, so he had heard the chicken was great. Surprisingly, it's not bad for what I'd consider fast food. Streets ahead of McDonald's and BK in terms of food quality. Pleasant staff. Toilets available via code on food receipt.“
“Wow! Amazing food and super delicious. Stopped here during our visit from San Diego and could not get enough. The food and the way it was prepared and the seasoning were so tasty. Why are there no other locations around? All the food was fresh and well prepared. Great portions, and the price was so reasonable. Will definitely be back on our next NY trip. Props to the cooks...“
“Oh my god I don’t know where to begin I never had Taiwanese chicken before I only seen pictures on Instagram so when I saw how huge the size of the cutlet was when they gave it to me I couldn’t believe my eyes now when you see the price you might clutch your wallet butttttt for 8.99 it is worth it the cutlet is so huge it is a meal in itself and the chicken is so well marinated that it retains its juices there’s many ways you can order it you can order it plain and/or also get powder seasoning on top. Now I ordered the sweet chili cutlet and I was a little disappointed when I found out you can only get powder on the plain one but after trying the sweet chili cutlet I understood why it doesn’t need anything else it’s amazing by itself. So come here order a cutlet and wash it down with some bubble tea I ordered the mango sago my only complaint is I wouldn’t got it without milk had I known it was in there and if they had a vegan cutlet option that would be nice but I’m definitely coming back as a regular.“
“So I was one of the few people in the world who's never tried ChickFilA. Let me tell you... these chickens taste like they were raised by both parents with good morals and values! ? Its real chicken that tastes real good! You won't be disappointed!“
“The closest thing to Nashville Hot Chicken that I’ve had outside of Nashville. I ordered 3 “hot” tenders and mac & cheese. I could only finish 2 tenders — they’re huge! I was pleasantly surprised with the mac & cheese as a lot of places make it pretty bland, but this one was decent. For me, the “hot” was pretty spicy and any spicier would be too much for me. I will say that the breading on the tenders is a *tad* thick. I think if they coat the chicken a bit thinner, it would be better. Still enjoyed it though and will be back for sure.“
“Just visiting new york and craved some filipino food. And saw this online while browsing some restaurants. Been a trip going here but it’s all worth it. The food was very great and came out so fast too. Best decision before flying back home.“
“I pass this all the time and was super interested in the menu because they had a lot of Taiwanese street foods. I got the popcorn chicken and was surprised at how crispy it was. The chicken was a little dry but the seasoning was good. I definitely want to go back to try the other things on the menu.“
“Great pick up quick service place. Food was hot and fresh. The bacon cheese fries with jalapeno cheese sauce were to die for. Not too spicy but just right and a ton of large bacon bits. Chicken was hot and perfect. Not over breaded and each piece was thick white breast meat. Worth the price.fries were thick and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The bacon chicken ranch wrap was delicious. Again the chicken was generouly portioned, lots of slaw, ranch and bacon. Yum.my kids loved it.“
“I was happy to see this location open since I enjoy going to Pollo Campero in Costa Rica. I tried the 4 pcs deal for supper and found the quality and flavor the same as I am used to. For breakfast, I had the chicken, egg, and cheese on a bun and found it tasty and filling. I will be returning here. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the resturant was clean and spacious.“
“I’ve had their chicken before and it’s good, not the best but definitely good. This time I tried the spaghetti and it was really good. I can’t believe I liked it as much as I did. I also truly love the great service you get regardless of the location. I went to the Jersey City location and it was as great and tried the mall location this time and the service on point.“
