“Sincerity… It would be great to bring in a chef and make it a proper pasta restaurant rather than Korean food.. Make pizza, and steak.. There is a strange demand for Korean food in the area.. They also do bubble tea again, and a nice pasta gym at night, and a cafe during the day... There's something so... The food is kind of Korean, but what is this?? It feels like Korean food.. I hope the owner makes a big decision.. Ah, if business goes well... I don't know, but there's something... It's really something... Rather than feeling like healthy Korean food... I don't know.“

“One word, phenomenal! My best friend and I had dinner here during our weekend trip and Daniel exceeded every expectation we could’ve had. We chose the Five Course Prix Fixe menu with caviar service and both the food and staff were excellent. We had such a great experience that we’ve decided to visit a new Michelin Star restaurant every year as a girls trip. Thank you all for making our experience exceptional.“

“I really like this restaurant! The food is high quality and the experience is fine dining but fun/relaxed.The menu is composed of bits of familiar recipes with Korean twists and French culinary techniques. There’s galbi, squid ink fried rice, uni, and mäd toast (which sounded monstrous but I didn’t get to try it this time) plus much more. I liked that the menu is small-sized and minimalist with clearly labeled snacks, little colds, hots, mains, extras, and desserts (menu is posted outside the entrance and on website). The current menu that started in mid-March has snacks/appetizers such as spicy yellowtail tart, beef tartare, fried shiitake mushroom rice balls (I think?, it’s labeled as mushroom arancini on the menu), pork head katsu, and scallion buns with unique sauces on the side ($20 per person, either no one or everyone orders). I tried the mushroom tempura with onion dip too! Everything was elegantly and adorably plated. Our server explained what’s what and suggested how to best enjoy some dishes. They have a really extensive drinks menu (many pages), complete with your usual offerings and their own unique cocktails, rice alcohol, maekgeolli, and even alcohol free cocktails woohoo! Not sure if all of the ice cubes for the alcoholic drinks are engraved with the restaurant’s name and logo but ours were and I thought that was a really cool and personal touch. An equally important part of my dining experience was the atmosphere and service. The staff are attentive, frequently filling glasses low on water and folding napkins when you step away. They also keep the music bopping and adjust their playlists. The lighting is a little dim and the interior is ‘cool club’ vibes but for a slightly more sophisticated audience. It’s a place to come in casual or dressed up a little for fun. It’s best for smaller groups of 1-4 I think based on seating arrangements but they seem to be able to accommodate slightly larger groups at some bigger tables and in the back room. Expect to pay $50-$100 if you get one item from each category on the menu and a drink. Probably $100+ if you get more or multiple drinks. The bar area in the back is across from the kitchen, which might be cool to peek at to see some staff members curating orders.I like that it’s on a quieter block in ktown area. The price range and location filters out loud and teen crowds, so it feels like a great place for young adults and Millenials to catch up or go on a date. It’s a place to sit down and chat while you savor small bites and wait on more food to arrive, so you’ll probably need like 1.5-2 hours if you’re going for a natural relaxed pace. I also saw a family of 5 enjoying dinner together here. Lastly, this is random but the hand soap is heavenly. I can’t wait to see what other menus they craft!!Dietary restrictions: They will ask about dietary restrictions and can modify recipes. If you don’t eat certain ingredients/foods, they can omit snacks too and adjust the price for you accordingly.“

I like the generous portion sizes for everything. It always bugs me when you go out, pay a fortune for tiny portions and by the time you get home, you're hungry. At Gallagher's, that doesn't happen.Seeing all that meat by the entrance is a bit frightening. Is it the fat that makes people like the taste? “Our dinner at The Capital Grille was fantastic. The atmosphere was perfect...sophisticated, elegant, comfortable, and designed to accommodate pleasant conversation without having to raise one's voice to be heard. The staff were wonderful, patient, and caring in all areas...personal presentation, listening carefully, speaking in professionally-friendly tones, accommodating reasonable requests, delivering orders in an efficient manner and making the food visually attractive. One of our entrees was seafood and the other was beef. Both were made and delivered at the exactly correct temperature and level of "done-ness". The desserts were absolutely delicious as well. Our meals were perfect in taste and in volume. We celebrated a birthday at my table and the staff was generous in providing an unexpected and beautiful dessert made especially for our occasion. Our table consisted of good friends who hadn't seen each other in a long while, so our conversation was important to us. The staff respected our "space" and we never felt rushed or pressured. We were thrilled with the whole experience and felt that it was worth the price that we paid.“

Our waitress Ms. Olga was a true blessing, her attitude and her politeness, matter of fact it was Ms. Olga birthday as well. They sang to me, I really enjoyed myself. Today is Monday, I'm eating my leftover ? for lunch. I had seafood combination, yams, mac&cheese. I pray one day I can visit again. The weather was cold so we ate and drove back to Philly. Normally I don't eat at restaurants, this was an excellent day for my 67th birthday ???God bless you all????????“

“SEARCH NO MORE for your next intimate & fun party venue! CHARLIE'S, The Bonnie's sister bar right next door was everything I dreamed of and more for my 30th Birthday party. Let me set the scene for ya'll... 35 of my closest friends, Game of Thrones themed decor & fits, cocktails that made everyone say "I drink and I know things" and the most fire food in the neighborhood... the party was a SLAY. Tali, the company's event coordinator, is the sweetest, most hard-working, and detail-oriented, especially when it comes to your event. She even went above and beyond to surprise me with a GOT themed menu by naming my cocktails after details of life. For example, she named the spicy margarita after my dog, "Kevyn the Kingslayer." COME ON! How amazing is that?!Speaking of cocktails... the incredible bartender, Olivia, bartended Red Witch magic with the amazing cocktails she made for everyone. She even dressed along with the theme, with her sword, serving vibes that was giving Night's Watch combined with Red Keep of the Bar. Everyone kept raving about every cocktail she made with style and care. When it comes to the food, The Bonnie always delivers, so of course my hopes were high for Charlie's. AND MY HOPES WERE MET! The ham and cheese toastie platter was delicious. The franks in a blanket were some of the best I've ever had. The beef sliders were a HUGE hit. And there were veggie options so we had the veggie quesadilla and the mac and cheese bites which were a crowd favorite.Overall, this party at Charlie's made me feel like Daenerys Targaryen on top of her Throne, like the Queen that was promised. Thank you to the Bonnie's manager Gerard for popping in to see if everything was going smoothly as well! That was so sweet. To The Bonnie/Charlie's staff - Tali, Olivia, Gerard, barbacks - Marvin & Pascual, and the talented chefs/kitchen staff, thank you so much! Your hospitality is EPIC!“

“The place is very good, in a fairly normal neighborhood. The food is delicious and they were quick to serve us. Anthony was very kind to us and treated us great. The portions are very good, they give you tap water as soon as you sit down and the beer is cheap.Vegetarian options: They have vegan and vegetarian food and you can ask without problems and they will recommend you.Kid-friendliness: They let us enter with the children without problems and they have a children's menu“

“Food, drinks, and service were incredible! My husband and I stumbled on this place on a date night in NYC, and it was absolutely perfect for a date night! The only thing is the restaurant is tiny tiny so don't think about having a large dinner party, but for a more intimate dinner or lunch, I would highly recommend it! The burrata was our absolute favorite dish! 10/10 recommend!“

“I pass the Penrose frequently, a block from the 2nd Ave Q entrance on 83rd. It is a perfect spot to meet up after work for drinks and snacks. Good music, friendly atmosphere. I tell everyone, my husband and I had brunch with our wedding party there. Great place. Recently my dad passed, and when trying to decide where to celebrate his life with extended family and friends my sister and I decided on The Penrose and emailed the events manager Chaya. She helped with everything, never got tired or short with her answers. We would think of all our questions after we signed off. Chaya made recommendations, helped our ideas come to life, and made a difficult moment easy. Day of memorial: Chaya and her team created the perfect atmosphere. Our server Emma and bartender Audrey were exceptional. The guests kept telling us what great service, atmosphere and food, but repeated to us how great the servers were. We had 30 people, in the back area with tables and bar seating. Chaya helped us choose the right amount of food, and beverages. Emma kept the area clean with out being intrussive, Audrey kept us “hydrated”. We had a buffet food area - food was great! They put to go boxes out for guest to take treats home. Thanks to Chaya we were able to truly celebrate dad, she had his play list, which we provided pumped in and a slide show with his great life moments on the screen over the bar. He served in WWII, a decorated war hero, with great taste in music. They also insured the Honor Guard ceremony, presenting flag and playing of taps went off seamlessly. As I said in my first paragraph The Penrose is a great place, but on this day it was exceptional. Chaya, Emma, and Audrey turned my dads celebration of life into a warm family moment that we will remember fondly and proudly. Thank you Chaya, Emma, and Audrey! If missed names for behind the scenes peeps sorry.“

“Ayza is a favorite restaurant for my friends and family. Although I skipped the Chocolate Martini for which the restaurant is known; Prosecco and appetizers were a delicious alternative. We sat in the outdoor heated space. I have also eaten in the trolley acquired during the initial stages of the pandemic. The indoor space is small but most tables seat four people comfortably. I visit Ayza every time I visit NY. I highly recommend this space for fun.“
