“Had a great lunch at Lefkes today. This is one of our favorite spots for taking clients out as the service is always top notch and they have a great lunch pre-fixe special that I think is one of the best deals in the area. Will keep coming back!“
“First, I love the low key atmosphere and the ambient light. I've noticed, as I've aged, that a lot of so-called popular restaurants are noisy and bright and the food is only OK. Hav and Mar is the opposite of that. It's a relaxing place with fantastic food- to the eye and the palate, excellent, professional service and great music. I hope it stays this way.“
“This is our second time at this location ( we ate at a Mermaid in the East Village). Great addition to fine dining in Times Square which seems inundated with fast food and chain restaurants. We're fish lovers and Mermaid has lots of delicious options — crudo, ceviche, oysters, clams for appetizers, lots of fish and non fish entrees. We had a tuna entree that was wonderful. We plan on returning. Highly recommend.“
“BAR REVIEW ONLY. Came here recently Sunday afternoon close to their closing time but we were welcomed warmly regardless—decided to grab seats at the bar. The restaurant is nice and fancy looking, loved it!Started off with caviar—SO DELICIOUS!! We tried the Siberian Sturgeon ($75/25gr) and Classic Ostra ($95/25gr)—perfect portion for a light bite with drinks. Cocktails were great as well—highly recommend the “Caviar”tini—vodka martini with pomegranate jelly shaped to mimic caviar in the drink!Overall, service was AMAZING! Our bartender was friendly and attentive and made the best drinks!“
“Last day in NY we had our launch here. It was suggested by many guides, so we came here with high expectations. The food was wonderful. We had a porterhouse shared in 2 and 2 menus with salad as a starter, sliced fillet and cheesecake at the end. The waiters are very nice and polite and make you feel very welcome. Strongly recommended if you love meat!“
“The Atmosphere is Always Excellent, Service is TOP Notch. Food is Amazing.Only fault that I can say is that.. trying to get in for a Dinner is Insane. Unfortunately they do Not Accept Reservations so you can come to the door & find out you have a 2+hrs wait. Talk about a Heart Break. But for Lunches it's ALWAYS a Homerun. I would recommend Taverna Kycklades to Anyone that asks me for a Top Notch Greek Meal.“
“Came here for a surprise birthday lunch. Menu: Shrimp head Shrimp Mushroom Fish with the bones (?) Snow Crab with Shiso Leaf Brussel Sprout with Seaweed(?) Scallop Snow pea & Baby Onion Flying fish Lotus Anago Tendon with miso Wasn't incredibly oily at the end of everything, I had a beer to go with my meal as a palette cleanser. Service was great, showed great attention to customers. Chefs were attentive, and notice when you want a good video shot at the whole frying process and try not to ruin your video. As a small extra birthday surprise, added a nice large strawberry with a mochi ice cream. Great experience, would love to try again someday.“
“This is a restaurant run by a lobster shop in Chelsea Market. There are many types of oysters, so it might be a good idea to use it as an oyster bar. It's a small shop, but the food is fresh and delicious. Also, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is good.“
“Good food! Loved the grilled octopus and branzino -- a must try! Lobster pasta was tasty but it was a bit on the sweeter side; I would skip it next time. Focaccia was unique but I think it's a bit overhyped. Overall, service was friendly, food was good, and the ambiance was chill. I would definitely go back.“
“Found this late night gem after seeing Sweeny Todd at the theatre.Unfortunately, the kitchen was going to be closed in half an hour, so we only ordered the House Chicken Fried Rice, Shrimp Dumplings, and Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs. My only complaint is I wished we ordered more before the kitchen closed; it was all delicious!! ??The service was quick. Even the Jasmine tea served had a delicious flavour. We'll have to come back here the next time in NYC.“
“Food was delicious - especially the bread omg. Everything was al a carte. Came here straight from broadway- very close walking distance. Drinks were perfect and the staff was soo attentive.Vegetarian options: I’m vegetarian and are the Mac and cheese and broccoli side dishes. Other vegetarian options available“
“This restaurant was once awarded three Michelin stars for ten consecutive years and is also a representative of New York's fusion cuisine style. They primarily blend Japanese and French culinary elements to create an out-of-the-box and unforgettable dining experience. In 2023, due to disputes between the owner and the former chef, resulting in the departure of the ex-chef, they were removed from the Michelin three-star list, sparking considerable attention and comments from diners. From my recent dining experience at the restaurant, their removal from the Michelin three-star list does not imply that they no longer meet the standards of a Michelin three-star restaurant. Rather, it's because they are now operating as a "new restaurant" after reorganizing their chef team, which should be in a "grade pending" status. Personally, I feel that in the 2024 Michelin ratings, they have a very high chance of regaining Michelin star status, even if not immediately returning to three stars.Overall, this restaurant is highly suitable for diners interested in tasting fusion cuisine that blends elements from around the world, as well as for chefs in the food industry seeking new ideas. Additionally, the restaurant's service is excellent, even among fine dining establishments, as the staff seamlessly combine professionalism and friendliness. The dining environment in the restaurant is also excellent. Whether enjoying food preparation at the bar or having a more intimate dining experience at a table, both options provide a great experience. Here are some highlights of the restaurant's strengths:1. The seafood dishes at the restaurant are outstanding, with subtle seasoning that highlights the natural flavors of the seafood. Some small garnishes add a finishing touch to the dishes, akin to the layers of fragrance in perfume, leaving a memorable impression.2. The restaurant operates very efficiently, with each dish transitioning smoothly, akin to a symphony, where one movement ends and the next begins at the appropriate time.3. The service at the restaurant is excellent, with the staff knowledgeable about the dishes and beverages, smoothly and warmly introducing each dish, leaving a special impression on the diners.4. The desserts at the restaurant are delicious, whether it's pastries, ice cream, or fruit, all displaying creativity.5. The non-alcoholic drinks are excellent, providing a great option for those who do not enjoy alcohol.Furthermore, the restaurant may have some areas for improvement:1. The meat dishes at the restaurant seem to be less impressive than the seafood dishes, especially the wagyu beef dish, which is not cooked to perfection, failing to highlight the characteristics of wagyu beef.2. The sea urchin and waffle dish show great creativity in combining Asian and European ingredients. However, the waffle seems too soft and cannot effectively hold the uni; I almost dropped the uni while eating. Moreover, both the waffle and uni have a heavy sweet taste and soft texture, lacking impact. Perhaps replacing them with different bread and uni combinations would be better.3. While each seafood dish has excellent flavor, the seasoning and presentation seem somewhat repetitive, giving a sense of redundancy. Perhaps experimenting with more diverse elements and variations would be beneficial.4. The restaurant does not offer bread, a common feature in many European restaurants. Although bread may not be particularly expensive, I believe it is an essential part of French and many European restaurant cuisines. With bread, diners can dip it into the soup, creating a special dining experience and balancing the flavors of some heavier dishes. In conclusion, it was a very enjoyable dining experience. I hope the restaurant regains its Michelin star status in 2024 and continues to explore the path of fusion cuisine, breaking through the limitations of traditional rating systems and textbooks, and continuing to be a representative of New York cuisine and a unique restaurant in the world.“
“One of my favorite in k town. Suggestion: scallop, 2 pyungyang cold noodles and dry aged branzino for 2 people. Feel free to add a bowl of rice.Parking: Weekend is hard to find parking but weekdays are somewhat okay to find the spot near the restaurant.“
“amazing food. I recommend all my friends here. What I had the last time I went... App - Curry Puff - Thai dumpling Entree - Red curry beef - Khao soi nua Drink - Thai ice tea - Pi-lin (Mocktail) Dessert - Banana sticky rice You HAVE to try this place.“
“I celebrated my 60th birthday last night at Rocco's and what an amazing treat! From the restaurant manager who doesn't miss a single detail to the gentlemen servers who are all professionals with glowing personalities. We were provided with a dessert on the house so they could put a candle in it and sing to me. It was like listening to a well-trained Italian Quartet. The food was beyond reproach as were the drinks. I cannot wait to visit Rocco's again and would recommend to anyone in the area. The decor is wonderful and the attention from Vinny and his wonderful sense of humor only added to our wonderful evening.“
“A Korean restaurant I found by chance while traveling! The staff and owner are all very friendly and the food is so delicious!! After my first visit, I remembered the taste, so I visited again and ate it, and I think it tasted even better!!!!!Even after my trip, I will still think of Korean restaurants in New York!Thank you for the good food and good service :)“
“Celebrated our anniversary at Sea Fire Grill and it exceeded our expectations! The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. A solid 10/10!“
“Great vibe. Absolutely LOVE the jazz trio. Food tasted great. Portions are quite small for the price, and the steak was very especially grizzly, unfortunately. Very attentive and well trained staff. Lots of push upselling drinks on the drinks, and they brought bottle water we had to pay for despite asking for tap 3 times. Wonderful wine and cocktails menu. Overall I would recommend for special occasions.“
“Mussette in Harlem is a wine bar that truly understands the art of hospitality. From the moment I stepped in, the customer service was stellar—attentive without being overbearing. The Women’s History wine flight they offer is not just unique but also a testament to their commitment to inclusivity and celebration of diversity in the wine world. And let's talk about their charcuterie boards—absolutely sublime! The selection of cheeses, dried fruit and nuts paired perfectly with the wines we chose. But what truly sets Mussette apart is the warmth and genuine passion of the staff. They made our evening unforgettable, offering insights and recommendations that enhanced our experience. If you're in Harlem and looking for a cozy spot with exceptional wine and hospitality, Mussette is the place to be.“
“Ocean Prime is a must if down in NYC. We had came for my wife’s birthday and had an amazing experience. Our serve Ripon was amazing and made great suggestions for drinks, entrees, and desert. He made sure my wife’s birthday was perfect. The food was amazing and the drinks were great too.“
“Exquisite, brilliantly crafted cuisine. The best crab cake I've ever eaten, and I've had many. Seared scallops were perfectly cooked and gigantic, married to perfectly prepared pork belly, with crispy skin fronting luscious melt-in-mouth layers of fat and muscle beneath. Paradise!“
“Besides the fact that the service was excellent, from start to finish, the food was truly outstanding, beginning with a generous slab of parmesan cheese with bread at the beginning. I had the tomato soup, served piping hot as it should be, with melted cheese at the bottom of the bowl--wonderful touch! Had the Ramerino salad as a second course which was served with a light lemon/olive oil dressing--fantastic--followed by the spaghetti alla chitarra, which was great. The portions were generous throughout. If you like Italian food, you'll love this place--fresh, excellent ingredients beautifully prepared and plated.“
“I’ve been to Kyma a few times already and I always have a great time . First time I went on a Saturday night with a few friends and we had the time of our lives. The manager, Steve, was really nice and he made sure that we were having a good time. Yiannis, our server, had some great recommendation for food and drinks, but most importantly he was so pleasant and polite. We will def go back again.“
“This is a super tasty food place, it makes me feel back in the days somewhere in Oaxaca. Dishes are very spicy, I love that but just letting you know, service was great, the place I would say it’s not like to hangout for too long but I feel it’s part of the concept.“
“From outside it looks like Small boutique Restaurant specializing in Indian cuisine & I just found it while roaming around streets of New York during recent visit & this accidental discovery didn't let me down, food quality & quantity both are amazing, owner is present almost from 11 am to 11 pm & staff is courteous, highly recommended as I visited all the sought after restaurants in town but this one stands out for the gourmet Indian food.“
“Had my wedding reception dinner here with 3 other couples. Comfortable seating, good food, great cocktails and great service. We never felt rushed or bothered and the food came out in exactly the right amount of time. My only wish was for the live music to be postponed later as it was a bit loud for us. Food is solid standards, nothing spectacular but all very good and reasonable portions. Look out for cilantro in the pasta if you’re sensitive to that.“
“Our dinner at The Capital Grille was fantastic. The atmosphere was perfect...sophisticated, elegant, comfortable, and designed to accommodate pleasant conversation without having to raise one's voice to be heard. The staff were wonderful, patient, and caring in all areas...personal presentation, listening carefully, speaking in professionally-friendly tones, accommodating reasonable requests, delivering orders in an efficient manner and making the food visually attractive. One of our entrees was seafood and the other was beef. Both were made and delivered at the exactly correct temperature and level of "done-ness". The desserts were absolutely delicious as well. Our meals were perfect in taste and in volume. We celebrated a birthday at my table and the staff was generous in providing an unexpected and beautiful dessert made especially for our occasion. Our table consisted of good friends who hadn't seen each other in a long while, so our conversation was important to us. The staff respected our "space" and we never felt rushed or pressured. We were thrilled with the whole experience and felt that it was worth the price that we paid.“
“The seafood and meat are very fresh. I think this is the best seafood hot pot restaurant in Flushing. The dining experience is also very good, and the service of the waiter Kai is also very attentive. Just use the pad to order. However, it is recommended to choose a table with a large pot. Personally, the small pot is a bit small.“
“Absolutely a must to dine in. Food is amazing the presentation perfect. Waiter and waitress were so helpful and kind. My wife and I highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Eggplant appetizer was amazing. The falafel was right on with delicious humus“
“My daughter and son took me to Sylvia's on 4/27/24 for my birthday. We drove up from Philly, my sister and son-in-law was there as well. Food/service was excellent. Atmosphere was good. Our waitress Ms. Olga was a true blessing, her attitude and her politeness, matter of fact it was Ms. Olga birthday as well. They sang to me, I really enjoyed myself. Today is Monday, I'm eating my leftover ? for lunch. I had seafood combination, yams, mac&cheese. I pray one day I can visit again. The weather was cold so we ate and drove back to Philly. Normally I don't eat at restaurants, this was an excellent day for my 67th birthday ???God bless you all????????“
“After being delighted by our first Los Tacos No 1 experience, we headed to Los Mariscos for our last food stop before leaving NYC. We ate it on the bus, so my memories are a bit blurry. The ceviche especial ($7.50) was delicious! I loved the crispy tostada and the savory citrusy flavors. I think there could've been a higher seafood:vegetable ratio, but the flavors and textures made up for the sparse amount of seafood.I tried the tacos a bit past their peak, but they were still pretty good. Overall I think I prefer the meats I had at Los Tacos, but it's hard to compare since I didn't have the seafood tacos fresh.I definitely want to return and dine in!“
“Very generous portions, the staff is very friendly and attentive at all times. I ordered ravioli, they were delicious and you can see the freshness and quality. It's definitely my favorite place to dine in Manhattan. Obviously I'll be back ❤️“
“The service was amazing! Our server Jay went above and beyond what was expected. The onion soup was delicious. The perfect amount of cheese and the perfect saltiness. I ordered the 2 course plat. I had the soup and the beef tenderloin and fries. Delicious. The special dessert of the day was their bourbon bread pudding with butter pecan ice cream. All I can say is Yum!!“
“This is the second time that we have eaten at this gem near the theater district. We were there for lunch. We each had sangria, I had the seafood paella and my wife had a shrimp burrito. Great food, friendly service and very reasonable pricing“
“I got a bad heart but this Brazilian steakhouse was worth the fall off the wagon! Started out with a Brazilian cocktail that was delicious with passion fruit. They bring you some hot bread that was awesome. Then there is the salad bar which had lots of stuff on it. Fresh fruit, lots of salads , meats and soups ( I went there 2 times) Once the meat starts flying it was over!!!! I had the best lamb chops I ever had! The beef ribs melted in my mouth. The filet million was incredible. Service was outstanding. I have Brazilian friends that say this is the best in the city!!“
“The food was awesone!!! And the chef was super friendly. I have eaten the Salmon, fried whiting, string beans, Mac and cheese and corn bread. All were favorful and delicious. The potato salad was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant. The hubby had the ox tails and turkey wings and he was more than please! The food is definetly cooked with love! The strawberry mango lemonade ( with alcohol) was on point and one definitely had me feeling very nice! Please take the time to check out this establishment.“
“I was eying this place ever since moving into the neighborhood and I finally visited when family came into town. The place held up to my expectations I can see why it is always busy. The staff is friendly, we did not wait for a table, and everything was served in good time. For food we did steak, salmon, lemon potatoes, and calamari, everything was so so good and the portions were big. I will definitely be coming back“
“One of the best meals I’ve had in a VERY long time. Every dish was a 10. Exciting, innovative, yet still approachable and incredibly delicious. Still thinking about the seabass tartare and the mafaldine with king crab mmmmm. The team there is TOPS. They execute flawless fine dining service in a way that feels genuine, cool, calm and collected. Many many thanks to Whitney, Darnelle, Naomi and Josh. Already looking forward to my next visit.“
“My friend and I had dinner here. The food was very delicious. Service was excellent. Their olive oil is the best. The staff were very attentive. Ali (who I think is the Manager) was extremely courteous. He took the time to come to our table and chat with us. Would recommend this restaurant. Top service!!“
“chicken empanadas to start were out of this world! lobster soup and steak were so tasty steak cooked to perfection! staff amazing, so friendly and welcoming especially when they found out we are from Scotland! chatted with lady behind bar, sorry cant remember your name who has visited Scotland many times! fab!“
“What a fabulous experience we had! The food was simply amazing and fresh and perfectly prepared. The service was excellent and the restaurant itself is beautiful! I wish I had taken more pictures but I think the fact that I didn’t just proves how immersed our group was in the experience. Simply devine and I cannot wait to return next time I’m in the city!Dietary restrictions: We had someone in our party who was gluten free and they took good care of her and she had plenty of options to choose from.“
“Our last minute date night at Crave was wonderful. While it was busy and we didn't have reservations, the hostess allowed us options for inside or out. We opted for in right behind the host stand, same side sitting and enjoying the view from there. Maya greeted us with a warm smile and bubbly personality. The Good Life and Fade Into Black were our favorite cocktails of the evening. Every dish was flavorful and delicious. The ambiance was great and we had wonderful conversation with Maya and the hostess who gave us some history about the restaurant. We definitely recommend stopping by Crave Fishbar for your next meal.“
“Another wonderful evening at this fabulous restaurant1 I must give a shout out to the bartender Josh, our waiter, Pedro and the impeccable host Stephan. The staff is just wonderful too. The special artichoke appetizer was just out of this world.“
“Our experience at NR, was mostly positive. The Japanese fried chicken appetizer left us underwhelmed, lacking that special touch. However, the chicken soup curry stole the show with its amazing taste and generous portion size, making it a preferable choice over the ramen.Speaking of ramen, while it wasn't bad, it didn't quite justify making a special trip here for it. There are other spots in the city that excel in ramen. On the bright side, the service was excellent, and the ambiance had a charming speakeasy vibe, evoking the essence of old NYC.Overall, NR is a great spot to visit with a date or friends, offering a delightful experience with standout dishes like the chicken soup curry. However, if you're solely craving ramen, you might find better options elsewhere in the city.“
“Great sea food (not a restaurant) place. Leave your ego outside before you enter here b/c it’s an ego free business. Find a table to sit. Choose your fish and give it to the person at the register, tell him how you want it to be cooked and don't expect anything else. This is NOT a restaurant. it's a FISH MARKET with some tables.“
“Amazing restaurant ! Food is a chefs kiss! I order the. Crispy Cajun Salmon sandwich with a side of salsa when I want to be fake healthy haha! Staff was very welcoming, I will be back!Kid-friendliness: Place is located at the Hugh and plethora restaurants and options with table and chairs“
“Great Brazilian delicious food and drinks in midtown. Loved the yucca, picanha and chicken. Also amazing mousse de maracujá. (Passion fruit mousse- you must try it!)My two misses: the pão de Queijo wasn’t as flavorful (perhaps not enough cheese?), and they no longer serve the Frango a passarinho.Drinks were awesome too, and the prices are very reasonable. Will def come back.“
“This restaurant is exquisite. The atmosphere is very beautiful and calming. The area is nice. The service is very good, servers are very efficient. These servers even ask about any food allergies which shows how dedicated they are to the restaurant environment. The food is very good with lots of flavor.“
“If I have to choose one Korean sushi/sashimi restaurant in NJ, then Bada Story Englewood Cliffs is the one. The staff are extremely well trained. The back of house staff knows a thing or two about culinary excellence. And the owner/executive chef has put together an awesome items in the menu.Bada Story’s dinner feast boasts the most extensive assortment of appetizing sashimi in the tristate area. No, it does not come cheap. But the quality of fish they bring out totally justifies the pricing. Even the side dishes (aka tskedashi) is consisted of noteworthy seafood items. Dessert - the seafood soup - is the only thing that’s disappointing, but you are probably 120% over your capacity by the time you get the soup. By the way, isn’t it funny that Koreans eat a bowl of rice and seafood soup for their dessert?Their lunch special is outstanding as well. Whenever I crave sashimi, but I don’t want to spend $250 for a meal, I go to Bada Story for their lunch special. Nicely priced, but not compromised in quality. When the warm drinking water is exceptionally tasty (aka seung-nyeung) you know you are at a well operated restaurant. Highly recommended.“
