“Great alternative in the K-Town area. Had the Garlic Chicken, which included rice, miso soup, tofy, kimchi and a small salad. Everything was fresh and tasty. 19 USD was a really good price. The food took 25-30 minutes, too long for lunch, but the staff was otherwise efficient and friendly.“
“Great place.. Amazing dishes and desserts. Amazing staff and host. Will definitely be back. —— If I had one con, it would be the speaker volume. It really needs to be at an appropriate dinner volume in that you can have a discussion with that people at your table and not shout. We asked twice for it to be lowered. But I’m unsure it was ever adjusted. Loud club-music volume while dining is just unnecessary.“
“First, I love the low key atmosphere and the ambient light. I've noticed, as I've aged, that a lot of so-called popular restaurants are noisy and bright and the food is only OK. Hav and Mar is the opposite of that. It's a relaxing place with fantastic food- to the eye and the palate, excellent, professional service and great music. I hope it stays this way.“
“Everyone in NYC raves about Tonchin, and it's definitely worth a try. It's super popular so make sure you make a reservation. The space itself is fairly large and comfortable. The Momo mocktail ($12) was sweet and refreshing. As for food, I went for the Tonchin Classic Tokyo Tonkotsu ($21). It was delicious, with a rich and savory broth and perfectly jammy egg. However, I have had better value elsewhere with more toppings, meat, etc.“
“wanted to check out a speakeasy while in town and came across the newsroom on tiktok, due to their “stuff your own empanada experience”. nestled in a quiet area of queens, with easy access.lovely speakeasy ambiance with an aerialist performer & live vocal performances. the music they play is all jazzy covers of hit songs, so it fits the vibe so well.the empanadas and the filet mignon taquitos, were so tasteful and delicious.they give you a very decent amount of time to be there, in order to make room for more people. our server Alberto couldn’t have been kinder and more accommodating to our preferences & needs while there.would recommend this to anyone looking for a laid back speakeasy outside of the hustle and bustle of the major city or times square.“
“The ambiance is stylish and comfortable, and the dishes are exquisite? We chose the ?$100 pp Omakase for 2 and also ordered a few appetizers and nigiri a la carte. The appetizers include a steamed egg—soft and smooth, with the sauce flavor just right—you can order it with added Uni.Since every ingredient was so fresh and sweet, we couldn't resist ordering more scallop, uni, and wagyu nigiri to satisfy our cravings~The cocktails were fruity and very professionally made?. The dessert's cheesecake has sesame flavor?Check this place out‼️“
“Wonderful spot for a long, leisurely lunch. The food is excellent, notably, the french fries, which are borderline miraculous in their flavor and ab to sustain maximum crispiness for hours on end. The cocktails are very good, especially the martini service. The wine list is extensive and SKUs heavily to the natural side, so be warned. But the dining room is high ceiling and convivial, and the staff is allowed to sport their personalities, which is welcome.“
“I'll start with the breathtaking panoramic views!!!! What a stunning restaurant!!!! If you are not familiar with what to order off of a Korean menu, just ask for recommendations. From start to finish what an excellent dining experience! Right before theBilly Joel concert, very fitting to have a bottle of red & a bottle of white! If you're in the K-Town area 1250 Broadway to be exact, go straight to the penthouse!!!!“
“Immediately as we walked in, we were hit by an amazing aroma of food to Billie Holiday playing. I was immediately impressed. Service was good, food was quick to come out, and servers were kind and speedy! Would rate this 10/10 if I could, definitely coming back!“
“Service was much faster than I expected, but the food was even better. The pickled okra was delightful, just the right amount of crunch with plenty of garlic, chili's, and green onion. The changing chicken was dry fried with tons of chilies that dish is all protein, no brakes. Save room for the rice wine soup. I know it sounds odd, but was a great end to the meal. Cocktails are also great, but be sure to slow down and enjoy them!“
“Ridiculously good views of Manhattan and very easy to reserve a table in advance. Drinks were expensive, but understandable as you're paying for the view which you'd struggle to get elsewhere. Didn't receive table service, however, which you'd expect in a place like this.“
“A lovely dine-in bar-restaurant in UWS. I have been there during the happy hours (3:30 to 6 PM) and I would recommend the same. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, best for a group or an intimate date. I would highly recommend the Consulate's Old Fashioned which has Mescal. The French 85 is also good.“
“Good food! Loved the grilled octopus and branzino -- a must try! Lobster pasta was tasty but it was a bit on the sweeter side; I would skip it next time. Focaccia was unique but I think it's a bit overhyped. Overall, service was friendly, food was good, and the ambiance was chill. I would definitely go back.“
“By far, one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had in NY. I stopped by to grab a drink before meeting a friend. Super cute speak easy vibe. Small. Intimate. The cocktails were amazing! Mine were crafted by a gentleman with braids and when I tell you his story telling made the cocktail experience just that, an experience. Top two, Ma Mandelbaum & Queen of the Desert. A yes for me. I’ll be back✨“
“Arrived just after opening on a Tuesday night. Head mixologist/bartender Cyllan walked me through a few of his favorites and had me sampling everything from his frozen rum punch (absolutely delightful) to his green bean pickle brine (very briny). They made me a pisco sour from last season's menu and followed it up with the Mai Tai. Both were good, better than good even. They use a vegan foaming agent instead of egg white, if that sort of thing matters to you. Average price around $19/drink at the time of this writing. The rest of the staff was attentive and friendly. The music was a bit loud for 4:30PM on a Tuesday. Bathroom was clean.“
“Top 2 sushi restaurant around flatiron. More authentic sushi experience with a unique menus and seasonal selection. Omakase by T O W A - I didn’t “W” in the case of my photos. I was back in town for business and was lucky enough to walk in during looting rain. Overall Would eat here again.“
“I was on a work trip and have very special eating needs and Hemant and staff really came through for me on very short notice!!! I will forever remember and HIGHLY recommend to anyone!!! Thank you Hemant and Staff for going above and beyond for me!! Darcy T.“
“First time I went to Fasano and I’m obsessed. The Bluefin tuna was simply exquisite!! Mind blowing! Its delicate flavor and melt-in-your-mouth texture made it a true culinary delight! Needless to say, I'm already planning my next visit just to get that incredible dish again. ><>•••“
“I went to the grill with my fiancé and friends after he proposed to celebrate. It's truly an elevated dining experience that makes the night special. The women's restroom has a lounge with beautiful vanity mirrors. The pasta a la presse was a highlight of the night because it was delicious but also because it was prepared table side with an explanation of its origin. The bread for the table had a lot of variety and was delicious. For my entree I had the lobster which was beautiful and tasted divine. The baked Alaska is a must for dessert since it's set ablaze at the table! If you're having trouble making a reservation we were able to secure ours with the Dorsa app.“
“The food here was really good and the bottomless brunch option was a great addition to the meal. Our waitress, Daisy, was such a lovely person and was quick to meet any of our needs. I would definitely come again for the food and atmosphere!“
“This restaurant beat every expectation. Honestly, I am not a huge fan of Mexican cuisine Margaritas withstanding.La Casa completely has turned me into a fan.We traveled from Manhattan to dine with friends. It will now make the trip just for La Casa.“
“Ate at Chama Mama in the Upper West side last January at a friend's recommendation, and it was my first time tasting Georgian Cuisine. It was great! I got the basic Khachapuri and the Khinkali (Georgian dumplings), and both came in big servings. They were both delicious as well, and the person at the counter also shared how to eat the dishes the traditional Georgian way. Would highly recommend!“
“Went there for the bottomless brunch with some friends. While we had a blast, we misunderstood the bottomless brunch deal: on top of paying for an entree, you can get bottomless drinks for 90 minutes for 30 something dollars, which when you look at it you better be drinking A LOT for it to make financial sense, so be warned.“
“I didn't have any food, so I'm leaving that blank. The atmosphere was so much fun. The staff was good, nothing spectacular, but definitely pleasant staff. I'll definitely be back. It was a last minute invite so definitely surprised. Didn't plan on doing a review but the place is a great experience. I can't wait to go back and take in the full experience.“
“First time coming and I had an amazing time Gary was my server and he accommodated us in every way he was great ?Customer service 10/10. I had steak and Eggs. Eggs scrambled could have been better but the steak and home fries 10/10. I recommend. Music is mostly spanish music but it a vibe they mix it up. If you thinking about coming just come the view is nice too.“
“Everyone here went above and beyond. Hostess accommodated my party of 5 when they were fully packed, our server recommended all the best plates and drinks, and the ambiance was immaculate with the crowd enjoying their food and company. Their interior was also spot on with the disco chill vibe they were trying to set. All the food came out to our table fairly quickly and also got devoured fairly quickly lol. 10/10 recommend reserving a time to eat here!!!“
“The absolute most friendliest staff. The entrance is disguised so if you’re confused, just look at the address number. The space is very cozy, they have complimentary coat check and the staff were amazing. Both my friend and I enjoyed our cocktails. Did not try the food; but the people next to us did and it smelled sooo good.“
“Tasty izakaya place for dinner! Drinks were great, all very balanced flavors. We had a variety of hot and cold plates, which all came out very timely. Seafood dishes tasted fresh and the Beef Tongue Curry was delicious! Also had the Ebi Katsu which was 10/10. Dishes are good portions for sharing comfortably between 2/3 people.Funnily enough, didn’t get pictures of the yakitori, but definitely recommend the gizzards, hearts, or oyster—super tender, well-grilled, and seasoned.I think experience could definitely be shaped by what you order so it’s nice they have a nice variety of dishes to choose from.Dietary restrictions: They did ask about allergies after confirming our selections.“
“We celebrated my friend’s birthday here, the staff is definitely 10/10, very cool Chef who has been making sushi for 20+ years, IMAX who is the coolest bartender and made such a beautiful unicorn drink for us, and birthday Mochi on the house. Also shout out to the beautiful hostess Beatrice and Ray who made the whole dining experience super special. ❤️❤️❤️Would definitely come back and celebrate special memories with my friends here.“
“The crispy eggs Benedict is a treat for the morning - the preparation is a bit of an improvement of the poached egg on this classic style Benedict. The French toast perfectly done with a thin outer crisp and fluffy inside. Great way to start the day!“
“One of my favorite restaurants in all of Astoria! My husband and I always bring friends and family here when they visit the neighborhood. The staff is always so incredibly nice and generous (Miljan is usually our server and is so attentive and hilarious). We always have a wonderful time here, whether it’s a quiet weekday lunch or a packed Saturday night.“
“What an incredible find! I love Thai food and this is hands-down the best Thai restaurant in NYC. The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating and took great care to make sure we had a wonderful experience. Even the chef came out to greet us and make sure he got the spicy levels right for each of our dishes. I had the Pad See Ew with vegetarian duck, which was the best I have ever had. Highly recommend!!!!Vegetarian options: The vegetarian duck (in the pad see ew) is the best I have ever had!!“
“This place was perfect for me and my friends to have a rooftop bar experience in NYC. It is conveniently located if you have come in for the shows and are staying near Times Square. The drinks and food were delicious and the servers were all friendly. The bites were all excellent quality. The Steak Frites were especially good. The host got us in even though we had to make last-minute plans to go here rather than another location. I was impressed and greatly appreciated him.I really enjoyed the atmosphere, which was relaxed and comfortable with plush seating and music at a reasonable volume so that no one had to shout to carry on a conversation. And the best thing of course was the view, which completely fulfilled my dream of seeing the city from up high.“
“I came by myself as a solo date. What can I say? Exquisite. Divine. Perfect. Exceptional. The music. The decor. The atmosphere. The FOOD, COCKTAILS. The staff. Superb. try something you wouldn’t normally try. I bet it’s going to be phenomenal.“
“AMAZING EXPERIENCEThe hostess and manager were kind enough to seat us despite a late arrival a few minutes after the kitchen was scheduled to close. This superior hospitality was our theme throughout the evening. The server ANFERNEE was prompt, professional, and polite while attending all of our needs. TEXAS-sized portions reminded us back home. Delicious food, tasty cocktails, and wonderful music made this a night to remember.Vegetarian options: The jerk cauliflower was spicy and delicious. The asparagus was roasted to perfection. The mashed potatoes were buttery, creamy goodness.“
“Los Tacos No. 1 is my favorite taco spot. When I found out about this seafood version of their restaurant, I knew I had to try it.Especial Ceviche - Love the crunchy tortilla bottom and creamy avocado slices on top. Very refreshing.Fish Taco - The fish was so fresh and fried perfectly. Absolutely delicious.Spicy Shrimp Taco - Not too spicy. So flavorful and tasty. It's awesome that Los. Tacos No. 1 is right next door, too. Next time, I'll grab a chicken taco before heading over for another shrimp and fish taco.“
“Love! Love! Love! I come atleast once a week for the last 2 years! it’s a friendly environment and the fooood is everything. Yonkers finest margaritas for sure I highly recommend ask for pavel she’s definitely the best bartender!!!! ???“
“My friend and I went here last minute as a walk-in and this place did not disappoint. Usually a tequila girl but ordered paper planes & it was really good. The music was fire, they played hits mostly from the 90s/2000s so it was a vibe. Limited food menu but what they do have was decent.“
“I’ve been to Kyma a few times already and I always have a great time . First time I went on a Saturday night with a few friends and we had the time of our lives. The manager, Steve, was really nice and he made sure that we were having a good time. Yiannis, our server, had some great recommendation for food and drinks, but most importantly he was so pleasant and polite. We will def go back again.“
“What a cool and awesome vibe! We had an amazing beverage, and the charcuterie board was super yummy! Just a quick walk from Time Square and 100% worth a visit! Colton was our bartender and gave us some other great suggestions on where to go! The experience, overall, was just amazing!!!“
“I had an incredible experience at Consulate restaurant in midtown Manhattan. The escargot and bone marrow were amazing, offering a true taste of French cuisine. The restaurant's beautiful design and atmosphere added to the overall experience. Okan, our server, was incredibly hospitable, and KAT, the manager, was fabulous and even helped me book an event. I also have to mention the fantastic Martini made by bartender Kiril. This place is definitely a hidden gem. Highly recommended!“
“From outside it looks like Small boutique Restaurant specializing in Indian cuisine & I just found it while roaming around streets of New York during recent visit & this accidental discovery didn't let me down, food quality & quantity both are amazing, owner is present almost from 11 am to 11 pm & staff is courteous, highly recommended as I visited all the sought after restaurants in town but this one stands out for the gourmet Indian food.“
“Yea, this place is amazing. We were looking for a quick bite in LIC on a hot day. We were able to sit down before the kitchen break at 3:30pm to order entrees. We sat in the outdoor seating area, which had great jungle ambiance. Servers were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They have a great cocktail menu. Started off with a few drinks, the pisco sours were amazing. We tried the ceviche mixto and arroz con mariscos, fresh and delicious seafood. There is limited but parking available! Overall, great food, beautiful interior decor, great service, and decent pricing for the area.“
“I was in NYC for a short visit and was able to find this treasure bar. It has unique Manhattan cocktails like French and Indian Manhattan. The owners are very knowledgeable and great people. Indian shrimp cocktails is delicious. Highly recommended to visit and enjoy the experience.“
“929 is hands down my favorite bar in nyc - the place is cozy and full of personality. The drinks are also simply amazing. I highly recommend Not the Melon You Know and Natsu No Breeze if you are looking for cocktails that are refreshing and sweet (but not too sweet)! I also love their fried platter.“
“Very fun spot for brunch - the only challenge was deciding what to order, as there were so many amazing choices. We opted to share the dip tower and gem salad as appetizers (making the difficult decision to pass on the delicious looking pistachio babka) - both were excellent. As main courses, the flavorful shakshuka and simple grilled branzino stood out. The atmosphere was very chic and high energy - would recommend highly!“
“This place is so much fun! It’s a combination of a roller disco and a 70s bar. The service is incredible. Our night was made by Tara who brought us shots through the heart! (Free drinks) she was so curious and insured we had a great night out. Can’t wait to come “
“"Tapas-style" Korean menu in a location perfect for a pre-theatre dinner! The raw scallop, bossam, and kimchi fried rice were all super flavorful and delicious. The only complaint I had was for the cheese corn riblets - they just quartered the corn cobs for this dish so you still have to bite the corn off the cob section, instead of just cutting the kernels off into riblets like most restaurants do. Makes it messier than necessary. The $16-18 bottles of Kikusui sake on the menu are a definite plus!“
“Loving preservation of the French Dip!! Picture says it all. Bun was light, fresh and totally up to the task of embracing the perfectly roasted beef. Special shout out to Meg at the bar who shows as much respect for their fantastic whiskey collection as the kitchen does for the beef!“
“The food is very good and the portions are large. Some couples share their entree. You will bring home part of your entree if you are not sharing. The atmosphere is wonderful. It is not loud and the restaurant is large enough that in off peak hours you are not seated too close to anyone. The wait staff is nice and attentive and doesn't rush you.“
