“I recently attended a Glen Rock Chamber meeting at Sweetberry Bowls. I loved the atmosphere right away. Before the meeting began I ordered a smoothy, the Strawnana - a mixture of strawberry, banana and coconut milk. It was delicious! During the meeting we got to hear how the owners place a high emphasis on their menu choices being made with natural ingredients with no added sugars. There are lots of healthy choices. I can't wait to go back and taste one of their bowls. This is definitely a place worth checking out.“

“Comfortable, casual, but classy atmosphere. The service was very friendly and happy to explain any dishes that we weren't familiar with. The food was amazing! I wish I took more photos. We started with the babaganoush and tablouli salad. My husband had the lamb kebab and I had the chicken kofte. Everything was so flavorful and tender. I have no idea how to spell the dessert we shared, but it was like a non-crunchy creme brulee. SO GOOD, light and refreshing. Highly recommend this place.“

“Be Well is one of my favorite spots in the area. Food is actually healthy and made fresh to order. The atmosphere is friendly and upbeat. They remember faces and names. And the outdoor seating, plants and flowers, and park across the street is perfect. Eating here makes me feel good. My faves are the green goddess salad, the black bean wrap, California wrap, and the Moroccan lentil and the cauliflower chickpea curry. Parking or pulling up for a takeout order are also both very easy since it's away from the congested business district of Rutherford.“

“The food was super fresh and so tasty. I think we were there shortly before closing but the few tables that were also dining at the same time were also served quickly. My family ordered three different entrees and shared. We were really happy with our meals- everything was super fresh, the use of veggies and sauces really elevated the taste and quality of the seafood being used. “It's very disappointing to see that already after only a few months of being open to make changes and to start cutting corners with their menu. They changed up their Sub Sandwich rolls from a beautiful seeded semolina roll to some substandard Italian sub roll. The bread makes the sandwich. Any chicken Parm and Meatball Parm should have stayed on that semolina roll. Cheesesteaks should not, they belong on those other Italian rolls. It "was" the best chicken Parm I ever had. Now it's just like every other round of the mill pizza joint that comes and goes...“

“I tried takeout from Lovin' Today, and I was pleasantly surprised. I've never tried vegan chorizo before, so I was kind of worried about whether I'd like it or not. It actually still had the same kind of spice of regular chorizo. To be honest, I didn't seem to notice that much of a difference between this vegan chorizo and regular chorizo. And they gave a lot of it in the taco as well, so I was happy with that. I also got brown rice as a side. It was a hearty portion size of rice. I got vegan naan bread, which tasted delicious and exactly like regular naan bread. I also loved that they sealed the boxes with tape with a drawn heart on it. It's a small detail, but it shows there was care put into putting my meal together. Overall, i was happy with my meal, and I would definitely order from them again.“

The gyro sauce "white dill dauce", do not call it tzatziki ( I was gently corrected several times) is phenomenal! so much so that I would dunk the Pastrami Reuben into it. “Excellent authentic Italian food in Garfield, NJ. Make sure you make reservations in advance if going on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, you will not get in without one. Though they are a little understaffed, the staff is very professional and accommodating. We had appetizers, pizza, main courses and dessert all were excellent. It is a BYOB, the could use a host or hostess during evenings to help with the seating of guest, etc. Definitely will be going back.“

“I know it's a chain but their pizza is pretty darn good. The crust is very thin and crunchy and it's very customizable - cheese, sauce, toppings, condiments, pineapple whatever fancy you. They put whatever you ask for in front of you and put it in the oven. I don't know how but it's usually ready within minutes. I've had takeout but it's really best when you eat it right after it comes out. You can also order via the app and specify what time to pick up which is a plus. And every now and then they would give you coupons to lure you back but we don't mind it because we (especially my 4 year old) really do like their pizza.“

They were mostly filled when we got there, but we were seated immediately and started looking over the menu. We opened our wine (yep, it's BYOB) and they brought us some glasses. It was pretty tough deciding what to have. First we considered an appetizer and a couple tacos each, but then the table next to us got their nachos and we decided on those and one taco each. We ordered the nachos with chicken, Wifey got the Baja taco and I had the Blackened Sole taco. Man...it was all good. Kudos to the owner, Steve, and the wait staff. The tacos were delicious and everything tasted so fresh. The nachos were great too, though I would have liked more chicken on them. The chips tasted fresh and everything on top was just amazing. We finished off the evening with a slice of Key Lime pie with two spoons. It's not a stretch to say this is the best Key Lime pie I've ever eaten...anywhere. Could not have asked for a better meal...as Wifey said, it was an "Unexpected Delight. Took us 8 years to finally come here...won't be 8 years til our next visit, that's for sure. Worth every penny.“
