“A staple in this area. Always worth the wait. Yes, there is no seating and there is always a long line. And yes, it's cash only. But it is well worth it! The staff is friendly, the store is very quaint. But the ice cream is absolutely one of the best out there. It's the perfect spot to cap off your evening. They close at 10 pm, which is a huge bonus. I never miss a chance to pass by here whenever I'm in Princeton.“

The service staff were excellent, the food came relatively quickly, and the food was excellent. We ordered four dishes---each was very tasty. “We used this bakery for our wedding. What drew us to this place was the quality and creativity of their cakes. They were very flexible with doing a take-home cake trial, which they don’t offer, and we greatly appreciate it. The reason why they are getting 4 stars is their lack communication and flexibility for delivering our cake. We had to change the filling last minute on our wedding cake due to no proper storage. I wish they told us the lemon curd needed to refrigerated before choosing it. Also the alternatives they told us was unprofessional. The replacement was good but not what we wanted. If it's a option I would to see how our intended cake was suppose to taste like.“

Everyone in there is so friendly and gets the sandy right, but on the weekends make sure to get there before noon because otherwise your bagel options are going to be limited, because early mornings are PACKED. Key tip for newbies: whomever takes your order is going to be seeing it through to the end. It can get a bit crazy in there, so keep your eyes on the guy you spoke to, they make your sandwich, and then hand it off when they're done.“

I found out that Hiro opened from a Clippers magazine and I literally couldn’t be more excited that it opened 2 minutes away from my apartment. Super clean, great music, nice decorations! “Walked into the crowded place and was immediately seated. Looking around we knew that this was going to be a good stop. I ordered some steamed dumplings to start and my wife ordeered the Tempura. While The dumplings were adequate the tempura was more to my liking. Very tasty. For the main course my wife got the Miso which was authentic and tasty. I had the Spicy ramen which was the highlight of the week so far. While spicy it was also flavorful, not just spicy for the sake of being hot. We will add Terakawa Rammen to our list of regular stops.“

I love hole in the wall type shops that produce good product and provide friendly service at reasonable prices, and that's exactly what you'll find here.We went with the Viking Vanilla and Strawberry Fields. Both were rich and creamy, and were a delicious treat. While the Viking Vanilla was more of your typical vanilla ice cream, the Strawberry Fields really stood out as high quality as it contained pieces of actual strawberry inside...probably the best strawberry ice cream in the area. Although it's cash only, the prices are reasonable with generous portions, with a kids or regular size more than ample size to satisfy any sweet tooth craving. I'm happy to support small businesses like Gil & Bert's, and recommend them to others.“

The atmosphere was great too.Since this was our first time here, we were kind of lost as to what to do. You need to find seat yourselves. To order food you need to go up to the counter and order what you need and pay. The server will bring the food to you when ready. It is not written anywhere neither did the people working there mention this to you. They might assume that you're a regular here. So, we sat at our table for a good amount of 5-7 minutes before we realised this.We ordered Hammy Cheesy, Toasted Apple, Creppetatta, and Southwest Sausage Egg and Cheese crepes. I liked every crepe except the Southwest Egg and Cheese, which I had ordered for myself. There something in that crepe that gave an 'old' taste.If we return, we might try more sweet crepe options.“
