“This was a great hole in the wall find. Great escape from traffic. Parking was easy. Even had a few knick knocks around to ponder around as you wait. Looks like one of those horror movies and don't know what to expect. Randy the hotdog guy was friendly. The hotdog and bun was warm and delicious. I had most everything on it; chilly, onion, relish, mustard. Yes YUM!!! All that in one price too. Can't go wrong. Now I know where to go for hotdogs! Thanks Randy.“

“The hubby and I tried Tommy’s in Carteret this afternoon. Homemade chili, no beans. Nice, smooth bit of heat. It was good. I believe they are using a Sabrett hot dog. The onion rings were EXCELLENT! Everything was fresh and very tasty. This family has been selling hot dogs in the Carteret and Rahway area since the very early 1960’s. Jimmy who is the son of the original owner, Tommy was very friendly. He couldn’t have been happier to explain his menu offerings to us, and partake in some friendly conversation. Four hot dogs with two toppings on each, an order of onion rings, and a Diet Coke was $19. There are a couple of outdoor tables to sit at, or a no frills trailer to sit in. It’s not a fancy place, but we weren’t there for fancy. We were there for some good dawgs, and we got them. We will definitely be back for more, and to try the freshly made burgers and cheesesteaks.?“

“Let’s start off with how clever the name of this place is. I wish that the mochi doughnuts were a lil more gummy texture (that’s just my preference) it didn’t taste fresh. Fish sandwich was the best and I bought two Turkey burgers and I just ate the second one cold it was so good! The hooded gem of Bayonne! Finally a place that’s affordable and has great food and service. In addition I got Mac and cheese and the curry which was a lot of food for only 37$ family of four was fed and still leftovers. Its first a crunch than light like rice. They come in different flavors. The flavoring is in the icing. I got mango and caramel. The Carmel was excellent. The mango was good but not my favorite. The woman in the store was very polite. They also have mochi ice cream and Korean hotdogs. I didn't try either. I will be back and suggest you try it too. They have two other locations. The place was very clean.“
