“Joey No Nuts has been a longtime favorite of mine, as someone who was often concerned about the presence of nuts in coffee or other products from other bakeries, Joey No Nuts was a huge relief to find. Not only do they pride themselves on their allergy safe offerings, their service, food quality, and community involvement is unmatched in Hoboken. If you want Actually good coffee that is free from nut allergens, I cannot recommend this cafe more.Dietary restrictions: Joey No Nuts is nut-free, thus the absolutely excellent name of the cafe. They are happy to provide an unmatched quality of nut free offerings at their inviting cafe.“
“Absolutely amazing food looks just like it does in the picture as well. It was my first time there and Molly helped me pick out what to eat and she was very welcoming and friendly, she definitely upholds a positive atmosphere. Will be coming back.“
“This is without a doubt the best banh mi in town. The bread is utter perfection, the ingredients always fresh, and just the right level of spice. The staff are very friendly and the owner is actively involved. I had a problem with my order, which he personally resolved. I was very impressed why his commitment to customer satisfaction. I will be a customer for life. Keep up the great work!“
“Classy and positive vibes only coffee shop.. the coffee is very new and flavorful.. they have Matcha latte and Ube latte .. I loved the lavender honey latte and bite size bagel balls.. the vibe super cheerful and space is very beautifully designed and has a lot of elements including some cool pottery and a cute Nook!!“
“A proper flat white. Makes me happy. However, a couple gripes: caf beans are quite dark *and* they charge extra for decaf (which were nicer beans imo mainly because they were a bit lighter). Just sad that they charge extra for decaf.5stars nonetheless for the right milk consistency and cup size, & very friendly service early on a sun morning :)“
“We stumbled upon Yuki’s by accident and it turns out to be the best almond croissant in ALL of NYC and NJ. They have everything from pastries, bread, yogurt and excellent coffee. Carmen and her colleague were wonderful. Best kept secret of Hoboken!“
“I enjoyed the iced oat milk chai tea, as it tasted herb-ally and lightly sweet while my fiancé did not enjoy his plain coffee with almond milk. The vibes were nice though. I would want to come back to try their gluten free donuts, as the reviews are great but they were sold out when we got there, sadly.“
“Be prepared to wait! But it's worth it. The food was delicious. Service was friendly. It was a bit noisy. And if you were seated in the back, you would have people standing around waiting for their tables, especially if it was cold outside. Of course, it doesn't hurt that the restaurant was right in front of the water.“
“Excellent cafe - my favorite coffee and matcha drinks in Hoboken and Jersey City combined. These guys work fast and don’t skimp on flavor. Their seasonal drinks are great as well. The only thing that could be improved is their WiFi signal strength. Working from bwe using their WiFi is spotty.“
“Lovely place for a coffee date or a work day from cafe. The place is relaxing and has kids play area in the end of the hall which gives a delightful vibe. The seasonal drinks are very cool. The spring special coffees were awesome, I had the Frenchie. The also have good wifi to work and read from there.“
“Tosti stands out as an excellent lunch spot, great for gatherings of friends and family alike. Their ability to accommodate diners with ease and efficiency makes every visit smooth and enjoyable. With meals served quickly, guests are spared long waits, perfect for lively groups. The restaurant’s vibrant atmosphere ensures an energetic dining experience, complemented by the staff’s friendly and welcoming attitude. Offering delicious food, rapid service, and a congenial setting, Tosti is a prime choice for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal with loved ones and friends.“
“It is a decent East Asian viennoiserie bakery. The price is very reasonable, and we love their mango mousse cake. They carry bread, pastries, cookies and Taiwanese pineapple cakes here. The place was kept clean, but not for a sit down. They don't serve coffee here either. The staff were friendly in general.Parking: Don't drive here if you don't have to“
“Coffee here is decent, service is quick. I'm giving this 3 stars because although Mojo has the makings of a nice local spot, the customer service is not the best compared to the other similar spots in town. The few times I've visited Mojo, the baristas acted like they were doing me a favor by making my order and each time I couldn't wait to get out. There are plenty of spots to get coffee from in this town, Mojo will not be my go-to anytime soon.“
“Ordered:Medium Cold Brew (~$5): with lavender and a splash of oat milk (+50¢)Aya's take:Small coffee shop with your typical cafe menu. I opted for the Cold Brew today with Lavender syrup. I love floral flavors and the lavender really balanced out the bitterness of the cold brew. It could've used a bit more oat milk to make it smoother. I got the caffeine kick I wanted and was nice to sip on for the time being.“
“Always greeted with a smile, you can tell a lot about a business when the employees are always happy to be there. I'm usually a basic coffee guy with a shot of espresso, but I wanted to try something different. I told the girl behind the counter to make me whatever she wanted . She suggested the funfetti latte wich I asked her to make a little less sweet. It was absolutely perfect and my new go.to in the mornings. If you haven't tried this place out yet, it is definitely time“
“Was walking around Washington street and passed by this little cookie shop . Let me start by saying I'm NOT a cookie / cake person , however the smell was so great and the image of a Nutella cookie advertising outside made me want to go in and look . The staff was immediately helpful and so pleasant , they explained they have 50 different cookie flavors , but they didn't have the Nutella one because they change flavors every week . I ended up getting a chocolate chip cookie for my boyfriend . The cookie was nice and warm I must say it was delicious ... I will definitely go back and see what other varieties they have every week .. go check this one out , you won't regret it !!“
“Finally a hipster coffee shop with decent prices. I love their summer drink - lavender latte (with oat milk). I do wish they continued their black sesame latte. Music was great and atmosphere was cool , some people were working with their laptops while others just hang there.“
“This is the second review I’ve giving this place and that’s because that much praise and more. Not only is Jin one of the nicest owners ever, the shop itself is so cool and well designed, not to mention the food is to die for! As someone born and a raised in Hoboken glad to have such a good spot as part of the community! This place never disappoints“
“Great coffee selection including couple options light roasted and several options flavored with great price (I have not tried yet the beans I got it though). Service was attentive and very informative and cappuccino (oat) was ok. Will come back to explore more the coffee “
“Amazing coffee!! Very little do I visit a coffee shop and feel like the coffee is very much worth the price I pay. The quality of coffee is amazing, rich and tasty at the same time. I tried the Honey Lavender Latte twice already and am looking forward to tasting other items later. I cant wait to be back.“
“It’s not only about the coffee. This coffee shop is the only in Hoboken that sells good pastries, like ham and cheese croissant. Coffee is also excellent, it remembers me Seattle coffee shops, which aren’t super fancy with weird drinks, but are the best.“
“I do love this place - pastries are amazing quality - it's just so expensive! But getting a pastry here is always a treat, especially the croissants! The coffee is great too, and I appreciate the comfortable dining area + area where kids can play in the “
“This Hoboken location is beautiful and the staff is so attentive. I have tried their croissant sandwich before. But today I ordered their white flat latte, which is very good.Parking: Thankfully it was Sunday so we didn’t have to pay. But there is metered parking, if you have luck finding a spot.“
“This place has great coffee and wonderful staff!I think it would be really beneficial for both your staff and customers to have more than one person behind the register/machine. It seemed to be overwhelming for the barista to be alone there, especially in the mornings. Help out your staff please !“
“I’m a 2 year customer of Jeffersons’s coffee, i WFH and host meetings here, all the drinks and pastries are wonderful the vibe and the staff in the store keep me coming, Jen, Sophia, Renato and the rest of the female staff always serve high-quality drinks compared to the male staff, when i see men behind the counter i usually get a tea for my safety. Ive never been one to leave reviews good or bad, but the last couple months ive seen a lot of the male staff yelling at customers and coworkers and it gives me second hand embarrassment, nothing in a coffee shop could be that serious (or so id believe). Overall great place, the boys just need to relax bc you should never speak to a woman or anyone like that.“
“I've been here a couple times now and it never disappoints. Today I had a banana split and it was 5/5. The people who run the place are always friendly and the ice cream is top notch. Definitely my go to spot for ice cream moving forward.“
“New little coffee shop on the west side of Hoboken. Things still look like they are “in progress” on the inside with not much decoration/atmosphere yet. I had an iced decaf espresso, my fiancé wanted an iced tea but they didn’t have many tea options. We hope to stop by more as this is very close to us and convenient for an afternoon pick me up!“
“I stopped in here for the first time the other day, despite walking right past every morning. I wanted something quick to eat and I saw the banana bread in a basket on top of the display case. I asked where they get it from, and employee behind the counter said they make it! Omg it's the BEST banana bread ever. Super dense and gooey. It has best texture, it's not dry at all and it's not falling apart or crumbling out of your hand. It's truly delicious. 10/10 for the banana bread. I am looking forward to stopping in again and trying the coffee and something else. The employees were friendly and the service was quick.“
“Been to the New Brunswick and bothHoboken locations a few times to do work and have a quick sip/bite (Some of the best cold brew creations in HB imo). Amazing service/experience every time. One of the owners had me try one of their new gulab jamun based donut creations. Delicious!“
“From the pastries to the coffee to the atmosphere, this is truly a gem in Hoboken! During the weekday it's a great spot to work from home as they offer free wifi, a big selection of teas (ginger peach is my favorite!), and they also have a good selection of sweet and savory options whether you just want some baklava or a eggs / avocado toast, sandwiches. They always offer seasonal menu items as well so there is always something new to try! The owner and staff are all so warm and are able to help with recommendations. It's a family owned business so they also have options for kids, making it a really mom friendly spot!“
“Lovely neighborhood cafe with everything from pizza and coffee to Salvadorian dishes. I discovered Uncle Milton's when they did delicious catering for a local event I attended and then found their cafe location. Right near the Resiliency Park, too! Hidden gem and LGBTQ+ friendly, highly recommend.“
