“Best Poke in Hoboken. Everything is so fresh and the sauces are always so good. The kale noodles are the best base by far too, worth a try. Very good price for the quality of the food. Service is quick even though the place can get very busy. Not the best seating options for dine in (more outside seating so raining days especially), so I would suggest carry out.“
“The shop is cute and small. The staff was friendly and had a beautiful smile. The tea is okay here, and one of the warm bubble tea orders was in a soft plastic cup. That's a little disappointing. I like they have an option for almond milkParking: Terrible to find parking here.“
“Coffee here is decent, service is quick. I'm giving this 3 stars because although Mojo has the makings of a nice local spot, the customer service is not the best compared to the other similar spots in town. The few times I've visited Mojo, the baristas acted like they were doing me a favor by making my order and each time I couldn't wait to get out. There are plenty of spots to get coffee from in this town, Mojo will not be my go-to anytime soon.“
“Always greeted with a smile, you can tell a lot about a business when the employees are always happy to be there. I'm usually a basic coffee guy with a shot of espresso, but I wanted to try something different. I told the girl behind the counter to make me whatever she wanted . She suggested the funfetti latte wich I asked her to make a little less sweet. It was absolutely perfect and my new go.to in the mornings. If you haven't tried this place out yet, it is definitely time“
“Sunday brunch was great! Service was a little slow to start but we weren't in a rush. We had 11am reservations. They open at 11. Drinks were great. Food was tasty. Fun and laid back, a mix of families with small children or a group of friends everyone seemed to be having a good time.“
“The weather turned nice, so popped over to Cork City for a beer one Sunday afternoon a few weeks ago and luckily managed to snag one of their outside tables. The atmosphere is perfect; lowkey and chil. They are dog friendly (inside and outside) and more importantly - they have a huge selection of craft beers that are organized by style so it's easy to find something you'll like!“
“I didn’t have much expectations. I was looking for over 30 minutes for a combo of different foods I wanted. Never really have ordered takeout from here. Anyway, it was absolutely delicious!!!!!We had, wings, garlic bread? Oddly was a pizza basically and so so good (added vodka sauce), meatballs, mozzarella sticks (not sticks but triangles). Amazing, really. Sad I’ve missed out on here for the last 8 years lol“
“A small neighborhood joint with food that will exceed your expectations.Moran’s is known around town for their burgers, which absolutely live up to the hype. I also recommend trying the Irish Poutine. The fries have an even coating of curry sauce, which means every bite is going to be delicious. Me and my partner ate in mostly silence while we were here, which is a sign that the food really hit our souls here.Drinks wise, there is a solid beer and cider menu, with a number of options from Ireland and the UK that you won’t find at other spots around town.Service wise, everyone here is friendly.“
“Went for breakfast. Service is excellent. The space is very small inside with not much seating, which is fine, but the tables are comically small for two people. The food menu is limited. Got two savory avocado toasts, a matcha and a dirty chai and it was $35. The food was very good, just kinda hard for me to see past that price. Probably won’t be back but overall nice spot.“
“Didn't eat so only rating the bar for a quick drink before dinner. Summer Saturday so it was fairly empty. It's a sports bar that is probably busy during the fall through spring when Hoboken is buzzing. Drinks were good and bartender was friendly.“
“A regular at this point. Easily the best sushi spot in Hoboken and the surrounding area. Aesthetic decor and vibey vibes. Delicious and well priced food. Gluten free friendly (gf soy sauce too.) The staff is so friendly and efficient. Shoutout to Jenny G in the “dark room” keeping us fed and happy. Quick service even when they’re busy. 10/10 recommend.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free friendly“
“This place has great coffee and wonderful staff!I think it would be really beneficial for both your staff and customers to have more than one person behind the register/machine. It seemed to be overwhelming for the barista to be alone there, especially in the mornings. Help out your staff please !“
“I’m a 2 year customer of Jeffersons’s coffee, i WFH and host meetings here, all the drinks and pastries are wonderful the vibe and the staff in the store keep me coming, Jen, Sophia, Renato and the rest of the female staff always serve high-quality drinks compared to the male staff, when i see men behind the counter i usually get a tea for my safety. Ive never been one to leave reviews good or bad, but the last couple months ive seen a lot of the male staff yelling at customers and coworkers and it gives me second hand embarrassment, nothing in a coffee shop could be that serious (or so id believe). Overall great place, the boys just need to relax bc you should never speak to a woman or anyone like that.“
“I’ve lived in this town for the better half of a decade, and I inevitably get asked by weary travelers and vagabond tourists about “what’s the best pizza in Hoboken?” Well friends, you need not turn another corner on your cyber journey. The greatest Hoboken pizza rests at Johnny Pepperoni uptown. The 14 inch round pie (there’s also a square pie but I don’t dabble) is not the biggest pizza in town, but it’s thin and crispy, adequately cheesy and is also good if you endeavor to add pepperonis atop. There’s also good salads, serviceable wings and other appetizers like rice balls and burrata that are good. I’ve also heard the pasta is good but I come here for the round pie. It’s nice indoor/outdoor seating and pretty inexpensive for this area. Please note that it is BYOB!! Ain’t no jokin’, this is best za in ‘boken.“
“The owner KJ is super sweet and amazing!! Gave recommendations and is really nice. Also didn't say anything when we did work here until closing. The boba is good as always, but the food was amazing. I was not expecting the food here to be this good, all the portions are huge too! The popcorn chicken is a must, and the teriyaki chicken and curry chicken are also good. recommend!!“
“So thankful for Little Market near us. The manager takes such good care of us. You can honestly find anything you need here. We live around the corner and I feel like anything we still for is here. 1.) Masks are worn at all time. The space is as clear as possible. It's small but everyone does a good job of giving you space and they have the door open whenever possible. 2.) You can literally find cheese, paper towels and m&ms here. That's the range of products you can expect. If you need it, it's here. I love. 3.) The team will know you. This might be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it. We often go for ice cream in our house so you can imagine it might be a bad thing if they see us three times a week! Honestly though, the team is great. They're happy to help you with anything you need.“
“We stayed at the end of August 2023 during a short holiday. Nicola gave us a wonderful welcome, with particular attention given to his Italian origins; Excellent!!! The food is average for the place but the effort exceeds expectations. Very good meat and “
“Can be a bit of a wait when it's late, but not only is it the only place to get something substantial after midnight, it is, in my opinion, the best pizza this side of the Hudson.Wheelchair accessibility: Open order counter on the same level as the sidewalk.“
“From the pastries to the coffee to the atmosphere, this is truly a gem in Hoboken! During the weekday it's a great spot to work from home as they offer free wifi, a big selection of teas (ginger peach is my favorite!), and they also have a good selection of sweet and savory options whether you just want some baklava or a eggs / avocado toast, sandwiches. They always offer seasonal menu items as well so there is always something new to try! The owner and staff are all so warm and are able to help with recommendations. It's a family owned business so they also have options for kids, making it a really mom friendly spot!“
“Been to the New Brunswick and bothHoboken locations a few times to do work and have a quick sip/bite (Some of the best cold brew creations in HB imo). Amazing service/experience every time. One of the owners had me try one of their new gulab jamun based donut creations. Delicious!“
“Fantastic bubble tea! One of my favorite restaurants that I've tried is this one. There are numerous tastes available, including green teas, Slushes, Mixed fruits and Oreos. The Taro milk is my fave. This place is clean, and the staff is really friendly.“
“There are two things on Jefferson coffee at Madison that have correlations ,Baristas behaviors and coffee quality. They are both pretty much similarly amazing. Now for coffee I would not say the daily coffee that have both medium and dark roast are my first choice since their ground fresh latte or Americanos taste much much better. But they have great choices of milk too. And you can guy round coffee or other drinks from their small refrigerator. Or sit behind one of the three tables and look how snow has changed Hoboken white. If I have only one complaint , and this has been same since first time came here maybe a few years ago, is that their menu doesn’t have the price , similar to the other location. But you know what they have in common, those cute wood tables. Add a bit of ancient taste and voila it’s Jefferson at Madison, the name says it, doesn’t?I have seen my share of occasional frustrations with barista when there is one person only working with a seemingly infinite line and takes forever to brew a small cup of coffee, but that also says they care about their customers satisfaction, so I take it on customers who stay for a while to order something simple. So a five star for me could be a three or lower star for you but hey we all get unlucky sometimes don’t we?“
“We went to Union Hall for brunch for a family birthday celebration We were a party of 11 and were seated promptly and not rushed through our meal. AJ was a very pleasant young man and was very attentive to our table. Our drinks, appetizers and food came out in a timely manner and were all enjoyed! We will definitely return to Union Hall.“
“I ordered delivery, so I rated atmosphere as 3 stars and not because I didn't like it.The burger I ordered is as wonderful as it can be. The taste is well-rounded and perfectly balanced. The chicken patty tastes like karaage which makes it even tastier.“
“I’m really surprised that this restaurant is not busier because has a lot to offer.Location, location, location….I would say that’s a great choice for a date! Sweeping views of Manhattan and some of the best neopolitan pizza in the tri state area makes it for a win win situation. The Pizzaiolo is from Naples and he takes a great care in making a delicious pizza dough (long leavened so very light to digest) and choosing good ingredients. Plus he cooks every single pie to perfection.I haven’t tried other things on the menu but if you are craving Pizza and you’re in the area you won’t be disappointed.“
“This place was amazing! Starting when you walk in, the vibe was so cool, live band playing with a heavy sax player stealing tone of the show. The cocktails were so delicious, they take a bit to make but were definitely worth waiting for! Our server was so busy yet still so attentive. We orders the trio dip appetizer, I forget the name of it but it was my favorite part of the night , so delicious.Entrees were recommended by the server and were also amazing!10/10 recommend this place!“
“Wonderful experience as always. Had my birthday dinner here last night and it did not disappoint! From the delicious appetizers, dinner and desert to the amazing drink selections. Service was perfect and the Valentine’s Day specials are a must try. Can’t wait to come back!“
“Love this place better than the other smoothie bowl shops in the neighborhood. The granola they use here is sooo good and they are not cheap with the drizzles. Staff is nice fast and efficient. The negative reviews about this place must be from miserable people“
“Shaka Kitchen stands out in the fast casual scene with its chef-curated, health-focused menu that caters to every dietary need. Whether you're into keto, vegan, gluten-free, or have other dietary preferences, they offer delicious solutions without compromising on flavor. A must-visit for a guilt-free, yet tasty dining experience!“
“My son and I love to try new places. The bee sting special was what took us there in a Saturday rainy morning. I’ll say the cream cheese with chives is what makes it “special” other than that is just a regular bagel, with bacon and cheese. What we did like is how fast the service is.“
“I highly recommend The Madison for your catering needs. Their team set up everything for my baby shower and the brunch food (french toast, eggs, bacon, home fries, mini sandwiches, and fruit salad) was a hit! Amanda was helpful throughout the process.“
“We were coming up from NC for NHL stadium series game on a Sunday morning. I had done some research prior to our trip looking for an "authentic" Italian deli near Metlife. I found Luca Brasi's was 6-7 miles out and made the decision to try it out. Never been to Hoboken, but have been to NJ. Knew what to expect getting around. We found the deli pretty easily and I was very happy I chose it. We were there around 11am. My son and I are deep into our Italian heritage and the atmosphere here was perfect to me. It was exactly what I wanted to experience. Vast menu. I had already read up and wanted to try something from the "Meet the Family" menu. I picked the "Fuggeda'boutit sub. Great choice! Great flavor and great look. My son got a chicken parm sub and told me it was one of the best he had ever had. Messy, but good. The young lady that waited on us was awesome. Very friendly. I asked about a t shirt and spoke with an older italian woman who spoke broken english. She was equally friendly. She pulled out a bag of t shirts for me and I gladly paid her $20 for it as a memento. $27 for our meals with fries added. Fair price, great atmosphere that I was looking for. Being a big mobster fan, this great deli checked every box for me. I would absolutely go back if I get to that area again. Well worth it in my opinion.Parking: We found a spot a few blocks away after a few laps around looking . We parked at a Dunkin Donuts nearby, bought a coffee and left our vehicle there . We then walked the three blocks to the deli. Worked for us.“
“Absolutely amazing food looks just like it does in the picture as well. It was my first time there and Molly helped me pick out what to eat and she was very welcoming and friendly, she definitely upholds a positive atmosphere. Will be coming back.“
