“We usually don’t order from here but since our go-to Chinese takeout closed early due to the winter weather (snow day on 01/19/24) we decided to go with MK. I opt for delivery and placed the order two hours before dinner. We reside on the other side of Jackson closer to Cassville. We knew what we were expecting on wait time. We didn’t mind waiting longer due to the severity of the road clearance. An hour and a half later the food arrived and it was everything we expected worth at $70 (plus a generous $$$ for the driver who trekked down the snowy road - big thank you, whoever you are!.) Sushi was fresh! the entrees arrived hot! And the condiments were plenty. One star less for not automatically honoring the coupon if you spent a certain amount to receive a free fried rice/sushi roll. This should be added without asking. Furthermore, MK has our approval of good quality take out.“

“This was our second time ordering from this place. The first time we picked up the order and the order was a little over $150. The second time we had delivery for a $300 order. We had guests in from out of town the second time. The first time, the food was amazing but the second time was even better than the first time. We ordered a little from each category on the menu. You would think for such a big menu there would be inconsistencies and you’ll be wrong. For delivery they came within the time frame stated when ordering the food. The delivery driver was friendly and helpful. The food was super fresh and still hot almost as if we were eating it in the restaurant. The portion sizes are generous and not just thrown in the container; good presentation of the food in the container. I do t think it’s possibility to have any disappointment in the food, we haven’t had a dish we didn’t like yet. The flavor and spices that are used are amazing where most competitors veer away. “My family and family friends (who live in the area) love ordering sushi from Nagoya Sushi & Hibachi. We personally prefer ordering the sushi and sashimi platters (e.g - tiger roll, dragon roll, etc. are all great) and our orders are always presented very well for take-out. The staff are also very nice. They also have bubble tea! I like the milk tea with no bubble tea.“
“I’ve been living in Freehold for 27 years, yet I couldn’t even name another food court restaurant, let alone endear myself to any so much as I have Little Tokyo. When I was a little girl, I would so look forward to their INIMITABLE teriyaki dark meat chicken samples, and I spent my first wages ever on an actual meal from this place. It is a time-tested fixture at the Freehold mall, a must-have if you ever work or shop here and still a reliably fast and delicious option for me when I am in the area. I’m pretty sure I’ve been helped by the exact same woman at the front of the line my entire life, and she gives me a big smile every time I see her. I’ve tried teriyaki/bourbon chicken at other malls all over the state, and this is the only one that is not only delicious, but is prepared in way that is not greasy. This is truly the only place I will go for Americanized Chinese food and enjoy it at all. My go-to: 2 sides, 2 entrees - string beans and plantains, double teriyaki chicken. Even post-pandemic, the price is unbeatable for the amount of food you get.“

“I absolutely love koto. I have lived in Jackson for 19 years and Koto is always my go to. Its delicious, and hibachi portion sizes are giant. I get the steak hibachi, and it's perfectly cooked every time. I have tried several other hibachi places around before in ocean county and no where comes close to beating Koto on their prices, portion sizes, freshness and flavor. It's funny that at other hibachi locations, they make you choose rice or noodle, and soup or salad, but Koto does both for the same price! Same with their sushi, it's fresher, tastes better and is cheaper than other hibachi restaurants around.The staff is always friendly and welcoming and make you laugh when you get the hibachi show. But normally I sit on the quieter side with the no grill tables and it's just peaceful and a great place to go for a quiet but delicious meal.Will forever be a fan.“
