“If you want to go back to the 50's this the place to go. As you walk in the place is buzzing with people. You may have to wait ✋️ a little bit, because is small and seat are close to each other. The food is good and the prices reasonable.“
“I've been working in the area, driving past sides daily. Every time I passed, I could see it was busy inside. Stopped today for a sandwich, and it did not disappoint! Unlike many places around, they make a solid PEC and don't skimp on anything. Will definitely be my go-to stop from now on.“
“Great place for breakfast and/or lunch. The diner is small, with a long counter and two person tables and a few booths. The food is delicious and the servers friendly and attentive.Normally I only order homemade hash, but Gloria (our server) exclaimed that theirs was really good (even out of the can) and she was right. It was perfectly made and tasty, with crunchy well done edges. It was crowded when we arrived (noon), but plenty of seating after 1pm.The diner is not wheelchair accessible, but there is an outdoor space that may be accessible in the warm months (outdoor space was closed today). There are steps leading up the front door, and the inside is pretty tight, as far as maneuverability.Few parking places out front, but plenty of street parking on a quiet street. Will definitely return!!“
“What a gem ! The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The food delicious and reasonably priced.Bring your friends, your family, how about your softball team or hockey team after a game. Just can’t say enough good things, let me not forget , it was SPOTLESS…Once you go you will be back over and over again. “
“I was coming back from Sandy Hook, and I wanted to stop for breakfast. This place caught my eye. A small but quaint place.I ordered the scramble eggs w/ cornbeef( very good ? )The service was good, very nice . I would definitely go back ( I don't know why I haven't). ????“
“I had my bridal shower at Z-Two on Sunday. The food was amazing and the staff was great. Debbie went above and beyond for me and was extremely attentive. She really helped make my experience there that much better. Thankyou!!! I highly recommended Z-Two for your next party!!“
“Any time of day the tropical pancakes are amazing. Bananas, blueberries, coconut, strawberries and granola on tender pancakes dusted with powdered sugar. Yum! Of course the menu is extensive and I've never had a bad or mediocre meal there. Even the corned beef and cabbage on St. Patrick's day wS as good as I've ever had!Kid-friendliness: Comfortable for the kids.“

“I had this wonderful waitress named Kim, she was amazing she checked on us multiple times, constantly asked if we needed anything, refilled our drinks with us asking, second time here at this restaurant, first time wasn’t as good as today. Thumbs up to Kim I hope she’s there next time I come there.“
“This Diner is a true delight with its classic vibe and hearty breakfasts. The staff’s warmth matches the hot, flavorful coffee. Service is OK in general but that’s after you find a seat. Try the corned beef hash with sunny side eggs or the generous meat lovers omelette. Despite the weekend rush, it’s worth the wait for a taste of local charm and satisfying plates. A true four-star morning treat!“
“Food is fantastic !! So much flavor, great portion sizes. Menu is extensive - there's so many options. Service is great ! Everyone is friendly and down to earth. Also the inside has a fun decor - it's elegant but hip. Great place to stop in the Matawan Aberdeen area.“
“Was here this weekend with my daughter and friend. It's not as crowded as it used to be, and tbh pretty sad bc it's a neighborhood staple. Waitress was nice and dealt with 2 overtired pre teens . The girls got kids meals which were large sized, I got. A grilled cheese and fries.Kid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes“

“Two words: MUST TRY. This quickly became one of my favorite spots to go to for a delicious breakfast/brunch. The aesthetic is so nostalgic, the service and staff are absolutely incredible, and to close everything out and wrap it up with a beautiful bow, the food here is so consistently amazing!“
“Great atmosphere, waitress was pleasant. The food presentation was good, and fresh ingredients were used. I ordered the tex-mex south-western egg rolls that were cooked perfectly. However, they lacked taste. The crispness was there, but they didn't taste like anything. The salsa dip tasted like spaghetti sauce as well.If I come again I'll prolly get a panini.“
“Classic all-American diner in a quiet Staten Island mini-mall. The photo menu was so large that I could hardly lift it. Did not feel like the Manhattan Greek diners but had lots of local charm. We enjoyed a vegetable omelette with home fries and English muffins, and a "healthy" egg and turkey bacon wrap, fruit salad. Good coffee, constant refills, chocolate chip covered large cookies in the bakery display, pages of sandwich options and hot entrees at dinner. Obviously gets locals and repeat diners. Well priced and large portions. A keeper....“
“A Hidden Gem on Staten IslandI recently visited Colonnade Diner on Staten Island 2001 Hylan blvd and was pleasantly impressed. The food was exceptional, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The prices were very reasonable.I've also noticed that they had a nicely designed banquet or ballroom room that can be used for larger events, with seating for 150 guests.I highly recommend this diner to anyone looking for delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere.Vegetarian options: Lots of green foodParking: Lots of space right under the Colonnade Diner + more parking on the side.Kid-friendliness: Many kid friendly food options.Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator is available“
“Classic diner food with an unexpected twist of sports memorabilia as decor. My family ordered breakfast platters with eggs, potatoes and bacon. Eleanor got the silver dollar pancakes and chocolate milk from the kids menu.Vegetarian options: The menu has items that are clearly vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: The menu is very large and has many options.Parking: Large free outdoor parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Extremely kid friendly with large booths, coloring sheets and crayons.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is wheelchair accessible.“
“This place is great to order delivery from when it's late at night plus it has it's own parking lot so when to come to dine in you can just park your car and go eat, no hassle for looking for a parking spot first. The steak sandwich is great and they make a good burger. Pancakes from here are good. The coffee is amongst the better dinner coffee's in the area. (Most dinners have terrible coffee unless it's the kind you pay extra for).Kid-friendliness: They have a highchair for kids. And the patrons here are typical families. Bringing your kids here is perfectly acceptable and quite commonly done by patrons.“
“Great vibes from with a small town feel.Service great and food came out quick!Didn’t love the corned beef hash (texture and flavor), but everything else was classic and hit the spot.Vegetarian options: Clear description on what’s what to make informed choices“
