“The menu looks great the write up about the food is promising. The problem I see is with your training of your staff. That falls on the management. The management is setting up their employees to fail. Train your staff, hold yourself accountable, you as a manager is to train your staff, to your standards and expectations. If you have staff members who will not or cannot meet your expectations of doing the job, if they cannot or will not follow instructions, you need to terminate them that includes family members. It sounds harsh, I know jobs are hard to get in the Philippines. That is more of a reason to train your employees to do the job to their best.“

“Good food for the right price! My fiancee and I came by on a saturday for brunch and it was perfect. Food came out fast, service was great, and the atmosphere was very chill. The staff is warm, welcoming and treat every customer with the utmost respect. The restaurant itself is very clean, even before our current COVID situation. They take this pandemic very seriously and they make sure that they follow all the protocols suggested by the CDC and our State Government. “I stayed at a hotel nearby and ended up having breakfast and dinner at this diner several times during my trip. The food is classic American diner style — tasty, comforting, and with very generous portions. The staff was always incredibly friendly and welcoming.

“Delicious local spot serving griddle cakes and sides. The griddle cakes are unique and a nice alternative to pancakes. They are crispy at the edges and soft in the middle. The soft scrambled eggs were perfectly done and the hash brown was very crispy. The only downside is it’s very busy on weekends so your best bet may be to go during the week closer to lunchtime.“

“Staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. We were able to order exactly what we want, substituting in multi grain for normal bread was not a problem.

Chicken sandwich (Italiano) was good as well as the pancakes (plenty of blueberries and covered the plate) and huevos rancheros.

Is it possible maybe bc the old owners are quite bitter they had to close down due to them being caught for not selling kosher? Maybe. “To all my Willy-B's(Williamsburg Neighbors) and anyone passing through...This place right here is the only original undisputed spot close by that I can call a real Diner and it's right here in the borderline of Williamsburg and Greenpoint. We walked from Metropolitan Ave and Meeker looking for this place. When we stepped inside, my son and I were very impressed. It has a very friendly atmosphere. The menu & it's large portions of freshly made food along with the wonderful service by Nazi(our server) was absolutely amazing. Our gratitude to the Chef as well. So exciting with it all that we forgot to take pictures :-D It may be a little pricey, but it's worth every single bite :-p We will definitely be back ... Next time for breakfast :-) This place deserves a 5 plus review rating“
