“Delicious Diner.

Exactly what you expect when you picture a diner. No frills, cheap, and exceptionally average food. It gets the job done, with the kind of gritty atmosphere you’d expect from a place that’s been serving neighborhood regulars for years.

I had the cheeseburger, while the person next to me was chowing down on chicken parm and spaghetti. The cheeseburger tasted like it came straight out of the freezer. It reminded me of the kind I used to get at the bowling alley as a kid.

10/10 recommend. Will return.“

“The menu looks great the write up about the food is promising. The problem I see is with your training of your staff. That falls on the management. The management is setting up their employees to fail. Train your staff, hold yourself accountable, you as a manager is to train your staff, to your standards and expectations. If you have staff members who will not or cannot meet your expectations of doing the job, if they cannot or will not follow instructions, you need to terminate them that includes family members. It sounds harsh, I know jobs are hard to get in the Philippines. That is more of a reason to train your employees to do the job to their best.“

“You can’t help but feel like family at Little Purity the owners and staff are truly beautiful souls. I stop by once a month for my favorite omelet and takeout blueberry pancakes. My entire immediate family has visited, and the staff know them personally, lol. The food is delicious!“

“Good food for the right price! My fiancee and I came by on a saturday for brunch and it was perfect. Food came out fast, service was great, and the atmosphere was very chill. The french toast was so good, perfect flavor and texture the way it's meant to be. It's all that and the prices are very reasonable. “Good place to start off your day. Menu is simple and priced fairly. I had the basic eggs, sausage and potatoes. I usually walk by these small establishments without trying them and usually miss out. The place is cash based which isn’t a problem unless you come unprepared. My meal was good. I don’t want to make this review sound like this is a must eat place but it should be on all early bird places to get a good morning starter. The staff is pleasant so don’t hesitate to ask questions.“

“I have been coming to George's for many years now whether it is for dine-in or take-out. I have always gotten fantastic service and great food. The staff is warm, welcoming and treat every customer with the utmost respect. The restaurant itself is very clean, even before our current COVID situation. They take this pandemic very seriously and they make sure that they follow all the protocols suggested by the CDC and our State Government. They have been in business for over 60 years and I hope that this institution will be around for another 60+ years. #supportlocal“

“Delicious local spot serving griddle cakes and sides. The griddle cakes are unique and a nice alternative to pancakes. They are crispy at the edges and soft in the middle. The soft scrambled eggs were perfectly done and the hash brown was very crispy. The only downside is it’s very busy on weekends so your best bet may be to go during the week closer to lunchtime.“

What makes Kellogg’s stand out is that it’s not your typical diner experience. I ordered the Chicken Biscuit with Maple Butter, and let me tell you, it was SO delicious! The combination of the chicken, biscuit, and sweet maple butter was everything. That sweet-and-savory balance really did it for me! My friend ordered the Chicken and Waffles with Maple Butter, which was just as enjoyable. Both dishes were perfect for anyone who appreciates a little sweetness alongside their savory comfort food.

For my cocktail, I went with the Pink Palace 🍸, which made the experience feel even more special. And of course, we couldn’t leave without dessert! We tried the Passion Fruit Tahini Pie, and this was definitely something different. The passion fruit brought a bright, tangy tartness, while the tahini added a unique twist that made the dessert stand out. If you enjoy trying flavors that are a little unexpected and outside the usual dessert box, this is worth exploring!

Overall, we had such a wonderful time here. The food was genuinely delicious, the menu offered something beyond the usual diner fare, and it was a great place to sit back, enjoy good food, have a cocktail, and spend quality time with a friend. It typically gets busy in the weekends but the wait time for a table doesn't take too long as people come and go. Seating accommodations is very flexible and you can enjoy yourself as a party of one.

“I ordered a poke bowl and the salmon was basically frozen. I could taste the ice as I chewed. Other than that, the food was good and the place is nice. There is never anyone at the register, and while I was waiting for my food, I witnessed several other people come in and tried to yell to the back to ask if anyone could come to the counter. I did not see anyone respond, so customers just picked up bags off the shelf and left.“

Is it possible maybe bc the old owners are quite bitter they had to close down due to them being caught for not selling kosher? Maybe. Ever since this restaurant opened they had the DOH be called various times, even have people giving them horrible reviews lol. I have known these new owners for years being said they have a deli store and it’s good! The food here is amazing, customer service is at 100! Workers are so pleasant and welcoming plus the place is CLEAN !

It is not a big place, so there could be a wait. With only one bathroom, there can be a wait there, but there is no room for another unless they could expand into the small courtyard. “Had a great experience here. This is probably the best diner I’ve been to in New York. The food was typical diner fare (I got waffles, eggs, and bacon) and it was soooo good. I mean it’s not a fancy place but if you’re in the mood for diner food, this is the place to be. Not to mention their coffee is incredible. It’s some of the best coffee I’ve had in a long time ($3.50 with free refills in true diner fashion). The staff was super friendly and attentive. They even filled my water bottle for me when they noticed I poured the ice into it. Highly recommend coming in if you’re in the area even if it’s just for some coffee. I’ll be back anytime I’m in the area.“

Ashraf our server was warm, pleasant and very attentive (our coffee cups were never empty). He gave made sure out children were enjoying their meals. Service was not pushy, and we were not rushed through our meal. Just wish they bussed our table before serving our main dishes.
