“This place is new. If you live in the area you should make your way to Arca for dinner. It was super busy however, they were able to handle the crowd. We were seated in just a few minutes, Our waiter came with the drinks right away. The selection of wine is impressive. The food was good service was good atmosphere was very good. The only hiccup was that they were short staffed in the kitchen so we were there for a very long time AND my husbands steak was over cooked. “This place is unbelievable!!! My husband and i went for a quick lunch date and man, our only regret is that we hadn't tried it sooner. We got a salad, broccoli rabe, and the classic pizza to share. Everything was amazing. The pizza was like being back in Italy. We also got the nutella desert which should be illegal. Cannot wait to try our way through the menus. So happy to have this wonderful spot in the neighborhood.“

However, our experience was wonderful, and I can’t wait to go back. “This review is so overdue! This restaurant has become my go-to place for the best food in the area. I have tried so many restaurants but none keeps on calling my taste buds like La Cambusa! I come with my hubby and daughter and most recently with some of my betsies..I love their menu is small but super delicious. Their appetizers are amazing ? the little bruschetta at the beginning is so yummy and you kind of build it yourself. The flavors are super clean and sauces are light and full of flavors. “We had a crowd of about 50 people for an event at Nicholas Anthony and couldn’t have been happier. Leading up to the event we worked with the owner who was responsive and accommodating - answering all our questions. The day of we were blown away by the attentive service of of the wait staff - multiple guests of mine were singing their praises! So friendly and worked so hard- I felt like I was at their home and they were hosting us as friends. Last but not least the food was incredible! The flavors were delicious and the food was in abundance! 10/10 recommend!“

“I really really really like this place. I ordered penne (a form of pasta) with butter alongside my family, and I love this place very much. The penne is beyond the term exquisite and the butter with it was amazing. I can only say the downside is the physical appearance and even then I like it. It's a little cramped and it's relatively hard to navigate when with a group even though the place is small, but I genuinely love this place very much. “Came here on Pi day 3/14 for a large plain pie and a grandma’s pie. The plain pie is 11.00 and the grandmas was a little higher. The style is thin crust and does not disappoint. The woman behind the counter was super friendly and nice to talk to while we waited. The sauce is sweet but not overly sweet and the grandma pie was super tasty. I will be back.“

“This is a place we want to even during the pandemic, when there was hardly anyone there. Food is excellent, prefix menu before 6 pm is wonderful. It is small, like someone's living room. which is intimate, but you are delegated to a small table when you made reservations for two.. The tables that are for two are so close you hear every conservation and hardly room for your food. I asked if we could have a table for four when we went in at 5:30. Waiter said we could not have a table for four because there were others coming in with 4 .. After we were eating I saw a couple come in and they had a table for 4 but only two of them...Could it be they called the waiter by name? made me feel that all patrons are not created equal....obviously we were not. Good for 3-4 but not two. I asked if we came in at 4 pm, could we have a table for 4 and out by 5.....no was the answer. I am thinking twice about going again...I am not part of the in crowd obviously,“

“I made a reservation for 6 (4 adults & 2 kids) through OpenTable for a Saturday dinner at 6. We were seated right away. The place looks like a house and before it was Locanda it was the Montville Inn. We started off with a bottle of Malbec and bread. For primi (appetizers), we ordered the calamari & shrimp with hot cherry peppers off the specials menu, risotto maile, zucchini flowers and mussels. The zucchini flowers were delicious (they come only 2 but we were asked if we wanted to add a 3rd one for $4 which we did). The mussels were not my favorite but my husband loved them. The risotto with the black truffle was incredible - very flavorful. The calamari and shrimp were a hit with the kids. For the main, we ordered different things off the menu but I got the Papardella which was delicious but unfortunately I was all carbed out so we took it home. Kids split the salmon and my husband got the fusili pasta special which was a little on the spicy side. The service was great in the beginning but as dinner went on, our server went missing and we were trying to catch other servers to grab dirty dishes or pay the check. We waited a long time trying to pay (+30 min) and my husband ended up going to the front to ask to pay because we all just wanted to go home. Food was great but service needs a but of tune up.“

“Authentic Greek food down to the water. Super professional Gyros. Everything was delicious and Fresh. I tried a chicken Gyro and a Lamb Gyro. Both were the best i’ve ever had. The meat was seasoned perfect and tender. Gyros were filled to the max and were very filling with tzatziki sauce, lettuce , tomato , onion and even some French fries. I also had fried Lobster claws with a Remoulade sauce over cabbage slaw which was absolutely phenomenal and a chicken Souvlaki platter which was just as good as everything else. “I am giving Lucco five stars, but with a caveat. First, their food is outstanding. That's why they deserve the five stars. And I believe most reviews should be based on the merrit of the food and not on "how long someone had to wait" or "all the meals didn't come out at the same time".Anyone who has been here knows that it is SUPER LOUD in there, hence the atmosphere rating.My biggest issue is their takeout. I understand wanting to prioritize the patrons on location at the moment, that's legit money being made right there, however, if they do choose to go that route, they should either stop or pause delivery and togo orders during their "peak" hours. It's frustrating to place an order only to have to wait 30 minutes for it to be "accepted" and then being told it will be another hour before it's delivered. For me personally, no big deal, however, I can see that being very offputting for the majority of the food ordering public. Just my two cents as someone who is now 47 and has been in customer service since I was 14, a good amount of that time in the food industry.“

All the shapes, styles and sizes your carb-loving heart desires will be found on one of these racks. Expertly made... dense, sturdy, flavorful, with a mighty crust (that'll give your Fixodent a workout!). Take a few steps towards the 'back' and now you're at the deli and it's overflowing with options. Each item looks bewitching and alluring and before you can even finish saying, "A pound of..." - somehow it's already sliced and bagged and the guy is waiting on the next item you need. (Maybe it's that luscious square of eggplant parm that they've intentionally left "posed" on top of the spatula or the Italian hot dog platter or that mountain of sauteed broccoli rabe that you know it's going to have that perfect 'bite'.) And as soon as you get home you immediately start crafting what's to be a most perfect sandwich with their seeded semolina, fresh ball of mootz (so creamy and delectable), and a few other odds-and-ends you snagged. Thank goodness this town is big enough for more than one amazing Italian deli and I don't have to pick which is my all-time fave.“

“My review is of an order for delivery, and I cannot comment on service or ambience. Calabrese has the best selection of Italian food I have seen in a local pizzeria. For example, I ordered veal saltimbocca, which is very hard to find locally, for half the price it would cost in a local restaurant, and it was delicious and had generous portions (it could easily serve two.) The hot antipasto was excellent, and could serve four. It was delivered in about an hour.“

Our main entrees we ordered were the seafood cappalini, lasagna w/ meat sauce, and the pork chop. The seafood cappalini was excellently prepared, just simply delicious with plenty of lobster, shrimp, mussels, and clams! Double cut pork chop could easily feed two people. Lasagna was delicious as well. Don't skip the desserts. The New York cheese cake is a must try. I highly recommend this restaurant.“
