“Great food and strong drinks! Calamari was cooked well, and the garlic bread that came with it as an appetizer was cooked perfectly crispy. The pizza was dense and filling. I could see the rest of their food being great and would definitely go back. Overall, I give Reservoir Tavern a 4.5 out 5.“
“Delicious, unique, friendly atmosphere! My family and I stopped here on a road trip and we are so glad we did! The Paneer Masala Vodka dish was outstanding! The tikka masala tacos, tikka masala pizza, paneer dumplings, and the samosa alfredo were also all incredible. Super friendly waiter and cook, we definitely recommend stopping here!“
“Delicious, as ever! We're also enjoying take out pizzas, salad, garlic knots tonight, while we watch football!I'm enjoying a GF Grandpa Pizza. It's AMAZING!Vegetarian options: Many salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes.Dietary restrictions: I need Gluten Free, and they have a great GF pizza crust there, or GF Penne pasta.Parking: Shared parking lot in a strip mall.Kid-friendliness: We have been taking our teens there, since they were little. The staff is wonderful!Wheelchair accessibility: Pretty open floor plan with plenty of room between the tables. They offer both booths & tables that wheelchair patrons can sit at.“
“We went to Matta Donna for the first time on Saturday night, and we can't wait to go back The food was delicious, portions good size and well priced The service was great, we loved our waitress Don't know how we missed this place, but its going to be a regular thing now“
“Having won a gift card for this restaurant we made the trip to Boonton from Florham Park and man was it worth it. Everything was wonderfully prepared and delicious. Our waiter recommended Joe's Calimari which was very good, and unique. The portions of our Chicken Cacciatore and Chicken Scappetta were so big we each brought half home. Service was friendly and efficient. The dining room is simple, and a bit tight, but the buzz of everyone enjoying each other's company and the food creates a positive vibe. Be sure to BYOB. We'll return for sure. A++“
“Amazing amazing food. The arancini balls were out of this world!! The linguini pasta and house garlic bread made the decision to dine in absolutely worth it. And not to forget, the staff here is very friendly and courteous. Will be back again soon. And yes Highly recommend coming here if you are looking for a fantastic dining experience.“
“When I arrived with my 4 year old daughter, I realized this restaurant may be a little more formal than we expected and not a place that served many kids. However, our experience was wonderful, and I can’t wait to go back. The staff treated my daughter so nicely & made her feel welcome, the food was delicious, they had a nice wine list, and a lot of care went into every detail. This is how a restaurant should be. Everything we ordered was tasty & well prepared, we had a nice swordfish appetizer and whole branzino that was filleted table side. I am looking forward to going back & trying more of their menu items.“
“The food is great! So are the reviews Design your own pasta dish -- sauce, pasta, protein, vegetable Home made ingredients, well-flavored, excellent chef from Naples. Very nice deserts too Don't be fooled by strip mall location. Just go!“
“Went there a couple of weeks ago with some friends and was absolutely blown away with the pizza , the quality of the food and the service ! I got the casino pizza and it might’ve been the best pizza I’ve had in morris county . Gianluca the owner also was so helpful with all and any questions we had, if you like Italian food this place is an absolute must !“
“Even though Google says they open at 11 am. I called to push my luck and to my surprise they were open and I called them at 10:30 am! The owner of the restaurant Anthony picked up the phone. He is the most sweetest man I have ever spoke with on the phone. This is my first time ordering a huge order for my work place and he helped me plan everything and I was so nervous to because it's my first ordering for my work place and trying out NJ pizza. I only know NYC pizzas lol. I am getting off topic here. I highly recommend this place for anyone. They are so welcoming and you can definitely tell they care about their clients needs. Their pizzas is just as good as NYC.“
“Had a wonderful dinner date here. Great service and delicious food. Definitely coming back. I reccomend the veal parm. House salad had a nice blend of flavorful greens. My compliments to the entire team.Note, you may consume your own alcohol. They don't have it.Parking: It's a little bit of an odd left turn coming south on Route 53, but there's plenty of parking.“
“I really really really like this place. I ordered penne (a form of pasta) with butter alongside my family, and I love this place very much. The penne is beyond the term exquisite and the butter with it was amazing. I can only say the downside is the physical appearance and even then I like it. It's a little cramped and it's relatively hard to navigate when with a group even though the place is small, but I genuinely love this place very much. Overall on a scale of 1-10, I'm giving this a 9.7 due to the small inconvenience of small size it that's what happens when your located in a strip-mall. Thank you for your service and food!!“
“I took my 90-year-old godmother out for dinner. There was an issue with the check, I want to give a shout out to Jeff, in management for handling our situation with professionalism, in a timely fashion and a smile. The Chicken Parm was great!!“
“Came here on Pi day 3/14 for a large plain pie and a grandma’s pie. The plain pie is 11.00 and the grandmas was a little higher. The style is thin crust and does not disappoint. The woman behind the counter was super friendly and nice to talk to while we waited. The sauce is sweet but not overly sweet and the grandma pie was super tasty. I will be back.“
“My boyfriend and I tried this for the first time today and thought it was absolutely DELICIOUS! Pizza had such good flavor and the dough was great. I’m so angry I didn’t find out about this place sooner! Will definitely be coming back.“
“This place is... AMAZING!What a crazy amount of goodies in one store! Seems endless there's so much there. Anything sweet you can imagine and a whole lot more. This is one of those destination stores. Give your kids $10 each and stand back! The staff was really friendly and helpful, always smiling. Street parking is pretty plentiful.Definitely a place to go back to over and over.“
“Their catering food deserves more than 5 stars. Been using them for a yearly party for a few years now. Not once have I even received anything less than spectacular feedback from those attending. They are not afraid to season their food, which is a pleasant experience with catering. Do not hesitate to use Rusillo's for your next event. They will be there when they say and will help you take your event to the next level. You won't be sorry.“
“This is a place we want to even during the pandemic, when there was hardly anyone there. Food is excellent, prefix menu before 6 pm is wonderful. It is small, like someone's living room. which is intimate, but you are delegated to a small table when you made reservations for two.. The tables that are for two are so close you hear every conservation and hardly room for your food. I asked if we could have a table for four when we went in at 5:30. Waiter said we could not have a table for four because there were others coming in with 4 .. After we were eating I saw a couple come in and they had a table for 4 but only two of them...Could it be they called the waiter by name? made me feel that all patrons are not created equal....obviously we were not. Good for 3-4 but not two. I asked if we came in at 4 pm, could we have a table for 4 and out by 5.....no was the answer. I am thinking twice about going again...I am not part of the in crowd obviously,“
“I've been wanting to come here for so long, and for my Morris county friends who grew up in the Italian triangle (Belleville Bloomfield nutley) this is the best kept secret. This is the real deal, they even have nastos desserts from Newark. Super happy to order Easter pies from here and they stock my beloved San bernadetto iced tea! Owner and his family are super sweet and friendly.“
“One of the best pizza’s I have had in New Jersey. It’s flavorful, thin, crispy and made fresh to order everytime. The owner takes pride in making sure every pizza that comes out the oven is made to perfection for all of his customers. Great spot for a quick lunch or a nice family dinner!Vegetarian options: Has many vegetarian options and if not, the chef can customize to fit your dietary needs“
“Had a wonderful dining experience and can't wait for my rehearsal dinner here! Stopped in the other day with my mom to try the food out. Was very pleased with the service and the food. The owner was a delight to speak to and his staff was very kind and attentive. They were able to make accommodation for me (dairy free) and provided recommendations. The table came with bread and a spread. It was fantastic! We ordered pappardelle bolognese - wow so good! The pasta tasted so fresh! You can tell it was house made. We also ordered a sandwich to split. We packed half of it up, as we were so full. The portions are huge. Very happy with this place and very excited for my rehearsal dinner in November, but I'll be back sooner for sure. My mother in law wants to try it with how highly we spoke about it!“
“We celebrated our 55th wedding anniversary at the Grato and are so happy we did. The staff went out of their way to make it such a special night. The service was fantastic and the food incredible. We will remember this night for many years to come. Thank you Grato for making our Anniversary so memorable.“
“Order their drunken grandma with garlic knots tonight for dinner. When my husband brought it home it smelled amazing! The vodka sauce had a nice flavor to it. Not too acidic. Crust was nice and thin. The garlic knots where so light and fluffy as well as loaded with garlic and Parmesan cheese. I would definitely order it again!“
“Their pizza is terrific, and unusual - square crusts!? My wife had the gluten free which is the best we've tasted, ever. There was a small error in our order which I will put down to the fact that it was the superbowl and the place was hopping. Veggie Pizza was great with the truffle oil touch and the pepperoni was thick cut and flavorful. Will definitely order again.“
“I ordered the chicken parm dinner and it was fantastic. This is one of the best chicken parm’s I think I’ve ever had. Thin chicken cutlets that are pan fried and crispy with the perfect amount of cheese melted on top. The sauce was great and the garlic bread was like nothing I’ve ever had before but it was very good. The best part was they delivered it to an address I’m parked at for the night with my tractor trailer.“
“Recently, I had the pleasure of attending a private event at Pucciarello's, an establishment that truly surpassed all expectations. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the stage for what was to become an unforgettable dining experience. The staff greeted us with warmth and professionalism, ensuring that every aspect of our evening was nothing short of perfect. The food at Pucciarello's was nothing short of amazing. Each dish that was served seemed to tell a story of its own, with flavors that were both bold and harmonious. The ingredients were clearly fresh, showcasing a commitment to quality that could be tasted in every bite. Whether it was the appetizers, main courses, or desserts, each dish was presented beautifully, marrying visual appeal with culinary excellence.“
“I made a reservation for 6 (4 adults & 2 kids) through OpenTable for a Saturday dinner at 6. We were seated right away. The place looks like a house and before it was Locanda it was the Montville Inn. We started off with a bottle of Malbec and bread. For primi (appetizers), we ordered the calamari & shrimp with hot cherry peppers off the specials menu, risotto maile, zucchini flowers and mussels. The zucchini flowers were delicious (they come only 2 but we were asked if we wanted to add a 3rd one for $4 which we did). The mussels were not my favorite but my husband loved them. The risotto with the black truffle was incredible - very flavorful. The calamari and shrimp were a hit with the kids. For the main, we ordered different things off the menu but I got the Papardella which was delicious but unfortunately I was all carbed out so we took it home. Kids split the salmon and my husband got the fusili pasta special which was a little on the spicy side. The service was great in the beginning but as dinner went on, our server went missing and we were trying to catch other servers to grab dirty dishes or pay the check. We waited a long time trying to pay (+30 min) and my husband ended up going to the front to ask to pay because we all just wanted to go home. Food was great but service needs a but of tune up.“
“There Food is as delicious, authentic, and of good quality. The freshness of ingredients and the harmony of flavors in dishes like bruschetta are particularly praised1. Silvio's Service is Friendly, attentive, and efficient. Delivery is speedy and customer service is fantastic. Ambiance: Known for its wonderful homemade dishes and sides. Boccone South sets a high standard for an outstanding cuisine and food. Bobby“
“Really cute café. The service was excellent and the food was really delicious. They have a really good variety and it is extremely clean and inviting with very convenient parking . My son and I shared garlic knots come and he had a delicious Stromboli and I had a wonderful chicken cranberry wrap.. he is very excited to go back with his friends.“
“I've been here for a year, and just now do I discovered this most amazing Italian Deli.(Only 2.5 miles from my hotel)The owner SAl was Incredibly cordial and extremely hospitable apon my entering the store, he could pretty much tell I wasn't sure about what I wanted and offered me some samples and answered all my questions, so helpful.( I say customer service is not dead. You just need to go to the right joints )Everything looked so amazing. I decided on trying three sandwiches.1. Chicken parm. ( Incredible Delicious)2. Meatball Parm. ( Super Delicious as well)3. Pastrami on Rye. ( For tomorrow )4 Tiramisu. ( Dessert )5. Vanilla Cream SodaEverything was perfect!!!Hands down the best deli I've found in New Jersey since I've been here. All in all, I had an incredible experience at this Italian Deli! From Sal's hospitality to the delicious sandwiches and desserts, it seems like I've found a gem. It's great to know that customer service is alive and well at this spot in New Jersey!“
“Perfect as always when I call up and say I'm going to pick something up they know exactly who I am and usually what I order they're always so friendly when I walk in and the food is great every time if you want good pizza in Roseland and surrounding area this is the place to “
“I'm new to Riverdale since I just opened an acupuncture practice in town and I gotta say every single time I order from Danny's I'm elated. My mom is from Italy and I know GOooooood Italian food and Danny's is just the absolute best in this area. I've ordered incredible Pizza, Chicken Francese, and today I had a calamari salad and it was delicious. This is my new favorite place and I'm telling everyone about it.“
“The cafe owner, Sondra, and staff did such an amazing job for our daughter’s baby shower! It could not have turned out any better. They were so accommodating for allergies, even adding new dishes at the last minute as well as vegetarian options. We were not rushed and were treated as family. The food was so delicious and everyone mentioned they wish to return for dinner again. The food was abundant and the chef even treated us to a show as he prepared fresh mozzarella, plating it for a delicious caprese. The fish, chicken, meat dishes and vegetables were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone! What a perfect shower. Thanks to all at Cafe Chameleon and special shout out to Trey as the perfect bartender as well as all the attentive wait staff ❤️“
“This place is new. If you live in the area you should make your way to Arca for dinner. It was super busy however, they were able to handle the crowd. We were seated in just a few minutes, Our waiter came with the drinks right away. The selection of wine is impressive. The food was good service was good atmosphere was very good. Definitely worth the dining experience.“
“Fantastic Italian sandwiches. Fresh ingredients, pleasant staff, and big portions. Can't ask for too much more from a deli. I haven't tried any of their bakery items and have always gotten my food to-go but they do have a wide selection of foods from every category, and have ample seating available for those wishing to dine in. Parking is a little weird as the shop is at the top of a hill, and the area tends to be swarmed with police cars. But the lot is big enough you won't have any trouble getting a spot. If you're looking for a sandwich recommendation, listen to what all the reviews are saying and try to the eggplant - you won't be disappointed. It isn't even just the eggplant, all the ingredients come together well. The mozzarella is extremely fresh too. They also have several other spreads and toppings you can substitute or add on if you wish if you prefer to customize your sandwich. Price might seem a little high for a sandwich, but the portion size makes up for it, and to be honest it's pretty in line with competitors.“
“The food here is DELICIOUS! We didn't have a reservation (this place books fast apparently, so make one!) but were kindly seated in between reservations. The bread in the beginning with olive oil was perfect, drinks were delicious and the main event was amazinggggg. Get the chicken parm!! This is the Italian restaurant you go to when you want a filling and flavorful Italian meal. The decor inside was lackluster but am looking forward to dining outside when it gets warmer out under the pretty lights.“
“Food is pretty good, my 4th time here. It's funny that an Italian Restaurant is actually closed "Every Sunday" when that is the biggest day for Italians and everyone else to go out for macaroni dinner. I'll come back, just not on a Sunday, haha. I'd give them 5 stars if they were open Sundays.. That's just weird. Everyone needs a day off but perhaps take a weekday off instead or rotate Sundays on and off? I'm not the only one who wonders why they close every Sunday..“
“I am giving Lucco five stars, but with a caveat. First, their food is outstanding. That's why they deserve the five stars. And I believe most reviews should be based on the merrit of the food and not on "how long someone had to wait" or "all the meals didn't come out at the same time".Anyone who has been here knows that it is SUPER LOUD in there, hence the atmosphere rating. My biggest issue is their takeout. I understand wanting to prioritize the patrons on location at the moment, that's legit money being made right there, however, if they do choose to go that route, they should either stop or pause delivery and togo orders during their "peak" hours. It's frustrating to place an order only to have to wait 30 minutes for it to be "accepted" and then being told it will be another hour before it's delivered. For me personally, no big deal, however, I can see that being very offputting for the majority of the food ordering public. Just my two cents as someone who is now 47 and has been in customer service since I was 14, a good amount of that time in the food industry.“
“Authentic Greek food down to the water. Super professional Gyros. Everything was delicious and Fresh. I tried a chicken Gyro and a Lamb Gyro. Both were the best i’ve ever had. The meat was seasoned perfect and tender. Gyros were filled to the max and were very filling with tzatziki sauce, lettuce , tomato , onion and even some French fries. I also had fried Lobster claws with a Remoulade sauce over cabbage slaw which was absolutely phenomenal and a chicken Souvlaki platter which was just as good as everything else. I didn’t make it to dessert but they had plenty of options from salads , Gyros, Greek platters and even flatbreads. I will definitely be back to try other things. Friendly service and lots of seating.“
“Have been here a few times. It's a great little BYOB neighborhood restaurant it does get packed so make a reservation or go early. The food is always fresh. I love a restaurant that serves homemade macaroni and they do the sauce is good. You cannot go wrong with the veal Parmesan. It's thin and crispy the way I like it, I appreciate that it's a BYOB and you can bring your red or white and enjoy a delicious meal. It's small inside. They don't have a lot of tables but they get packed so I can make a reservation. i've been here a few times. “Regular here, and I can't say one bad thing. Amazing food, very comforting atmosphere, service, and all around ambiance.Seriously, my go to spot legit once a week! Amazing all around!!!Sincerely, corner table regularKid-friendliness: Very accommodating.“
“Having tried the majority of pizza places in town, Cammaratas is my favorite! I was a little suspicious at first about a pizza place that also has tacos but the al pastor pizza is *chefs kiss*. Thin crust, not floppy, can withhold toppings, great cheese texture. Delicious.“
“I order all the time and great food. My only suggestion is for some dinners they offer don't put over pasta unless states. I ordered veal Frances that came with a side of pasta. Veal was on top of and all the lemon butter sauce was soaked up so the veal was dry. Not what I planned on ordering based on menu. But I will never stop going back will just be clear. UPDATE to all. I apologize to francos not a criticism a suggestion. Owner not only called me but so gracious and wasn't want I was looking for. The stuffed filet of sole was outstanding and again one of my favorite places. And the woman who takes the phone orders one of the most pleasant nicest person ever and repeat the order. I would give 10 stars overall if available“
“Came here on a Friday night to meet up with a bunch of ladies. There were 15 of us. Had a great experience. We sat upstairs which was perfect because it was quiet and we were able to talk while enjoying our meals. The pizza was excellent! Very thin crust and crunchy. I loved it! Service was fast! Our waiter was Lav and he was amazing! He was able to accommodate us all and give us separate checks. Very cozy atmosphere. Will be back!“
“A Chicken Veggie Slice For Me ($4.50)... Specialty SLices Might Seem Small But Hearty... A FIRST Ive Ever Came Across Was Thier Beef Chicken Stock Herb Compilation As I Was Told It Is,, Which Seems to Consist of Garlic,, Onion,, Salt,, Parsley and Red Pepper FLakes and I Think Dried Pieces Of Chicken N Beef... Someone Tell Me What This Is Called If Uuu Run Across This Review... Very Tasty It Is and I Dont Eat Beef Anymore But I Made an Exception to Try... Pretty Decent Place...“
“Stopped by Palermo's with the family for the first time. We wanted to grab a regular pie, but ended up trying out a Fat Sandwich, a large pie, a few other slices, and a Caesar salad. The pizza was fantastic and their cheese is delicious. The sandwich was very good and the salad was one of the best I've ever had.We dined in and the staff was very accommodating. We also spoke with the owner who was very helpful and friendly. We thank you again for a wonderful experience from the food to the service. We can't wait to order from Palermo's again!“
“This place is a home run no matter what dish you order. Great service, with an even better product. I’ve had pizza all over the world, but their Margarita pie reminds me of the old country. You can taste the great fresh ingredients, and my son loves it even more than I do. If you haven’t been you must go! I love this place!Kid-friendliness: They treat my kid like the prince that he is. :)“
“Today was the first time we ate out on a Holiday. Having Easter dinner @ Portofino's was the BEST!! We enjoyed a delicious meal, wonderful service and atmosphere without any 'clean up'. The food was served hot and appetizing. It couldn't get better. The entire staff was pleasant, accomodating and attentive.“
“One of New Jersey’s great delicatessens with many Italian delicacy’s and classic favorites . The food is always fresh and top quality. The staff is friendly polite and helpful . They keep the environment spotless clean and the smell when you walk in is like walking into your house for Sunday dinner. The meals are prepared to perfection and of course they can claim serving the best sandwiches because they use calandras bread, let’s face facts you really can’t be the best if you’re not using calandras bread. ( of course that’s my opinion) but I believe most will agree. I love Il Paninos you will to . One last very important fact, they’re prices are very fair but when you actually bite into your food you’re immediate response will be are you kiddin me these prices are cheap how do they keep the prices so low . I say don’t worry about it just eat.“
“Friendly staff, great quality food. Nice dine-in room set apart from the take out counter.Vegetarian options: Italian-style sautéed veggies ...YUM...my broccoli had great fresh flavor . (They also offer sautéed spinach and rabe.)Dietary restrictions: Gluten free personal pizza. Super happy with how light & crispy Roma's GF version is. Nicely done.Parking: I parked at a town parking lot around the corner. Spaces on the streets too.“
